Chapter 507 - I Am in a Hell of Extreme Cold!

Chapter 507: Tatsumaki: I Am in a Hell of Extreme Cold!

"Good power, but this alone isn't enough."

Esdeath's body erupted with a wave of pure, cold air, shattering the psychic pressure around her as if it were glass.

Tatsumaki widened her eyes. "How is this possible?!"

In that instant, the psychic power she controlled vanished again, frozen to death by the extreme cold. This was the second time today her power had become ineffective—once against Ren, and now against Esdeath.

An unprecedented sense of defeat struck the proud S-Class hero. This frustration made her furious.

"I'm really angry now!"

Tatsumaki's green hair floated upwards, crackling with an emerald aura, as if she were a Super Saiyan. Suddenly, an even more intense psychic power surged from the ground, an invisible force twisting the very fabric of the battlefield.

The air began to visibly distort. The surrounding trees and flowers were ripped from the earth, spiraling into the sky. As her power continuously strengthened, the degree of distortion increased, forming an enormous psychic vortex. The vortex was like a man-eating black hole, voraciously devouring everything around it.

Under the influence of this power, the earth began to tremble violently. The ground cracked, fissures spreading rapidly like a spiderweb.

A psychic energy sphere, emitting a faint green glow, was pushed towards Esdeath by a vein-popping Tatsumaki. She was unleashing her full power with only one goal: to crush the woman who had shown her such disdain.

Facing such a vast and oppressive force, Esdeath remained unfazed. She glanced at Ren, a bored, predatory smile on her lips. "She seems a bit weak."

Ren shrugged. "I know, but she said she'd make you pay. I'm just giving her the chance."

Esdeath saw through it; he simply wanted to see the newcomer make a fool of herself. Her smile widened. "Let's end this boring fight quickly."

She had already sensed the disparity in their power. The battle had become uninteresting.

"This is the price for looking down on me!" Tatsumaki stood with her hands on her hips, head tilted back. She seemed to have already seen Esdeath's fate. Just like those monsters, she would be crushed to dust by her psychic power.

Crack, crack, crack!

"What's that sound?" Her ears twitched.

Tatsumaki's proud and expectant expression instantly froze. The sound of ice forming suddenly erupted in her ears. The moment she reacted, she only felt a flash of blue-white light.

Her entire body seemed to fall into an endless abyss of extreme cold.

An indescribable pain permeated her whole being. The intense cold began to penetrate her skin, as if countless ice needles were pricking her from the inside out. This was not just a physical sensation, but a torment of the soul.

As the cold intensified, her limbs began to stiffen. Her fingers and toes gradually lost all sensation, no longer feeling like her own. She tried to clench her fists, but her fingers were like ice, unable to bend.

In this bone-chilling cold, breathing became increasingly difficult. Her lungs felt as if they were frozen solid. Every breath was a struggle against death, her throat aching as if pierced by countless ice crystals.

"What... happened to me?" In the endless cold, her thoughts became sluggish. She couldn't concentrate, only feeling the cold.

Hallucinations began to appear; she saw her own body covered in a thick layer of frost. This fear made her even more desperate, yet she couldn't escape. In endless pain, she began to give up, allowing the cold to swallow her. Her spirit was completely frozen. She could no longer feel any warmth or hope.

In this endless hell of extreme cold, life finally came to an end.

On the verge of a mental breakdown—

"Hahaha!!!!"

Amidst hurried gasps, Tatsumaki suddenly came to her senses, only to find herself back amidst the ruins of the city she had destroyed. She frantically touched her arms and cheeks; they were warm, not a cold corpse!

That feeling of icy death was like a hallucination...

"What exactly happened?!" Having experienced death, she shivered and opened the Chat Group in confusion. The messages she saw made her pupils dilate.

[Nami: Huh? The newcomer was taken out just like that?]

[Ainz: Hiss, that was a bit fast. An instant kill!]

[Kiana: Emmm, even worse than me and Ainz.]

[Stella: Can someone explain what happened? How did her body just shatter? Is she dead?]

[Erza: They said you don't die in the Apocalypse Battlefield... it should be true, right?]

[Ren: Simply put, Esdeath instantly froze her into an ice sculpture and shattered her into dust. As for Tatsumaki, she won't die.]

[Ren: Tatsumaki, come out and prove it.]

[Tatsumaki: ...]

I died? Frozen into ice and shattered in an instant? She suddenly recalled the painful memory of being in the endless hell of extreme cold. "Those were all real..."

Her brain was trembling. She couldn't understand how her incredibly powerful psychic energy could have been defeated without any warning. Is that woman really that strong?

At the same time, Shiroyasha, observing everything, fanned herself and narrowed her eyes. "This is getting more and more interesting."

In her eyes, Tatsumaki's power was a kind of mental force, not a Divine Gift. Although not very strong, it was comparable to some of the trash in the five-digit range of her world.

But Esdeath surprised her. Any discerning person could see that the power she displayed was just the tip of the iceberg. Her techniques were something many four-digit figures would look up to.

And Ren. "The administrator of the Chat Group, Ren." Shiroyasha was very curious about his power. In the group, he had repeatedly claimed to understand her, even vaguely comparing his power to her all-encompassing domain.
