Chapter 596 - Spatial Wormhole!

Chapter 596: Monster on the Island, Instantly Killed! Spatial Wormhole!

Ren took Fu Xuan and the others to visit other planets. Meanwhile, on the island in his world, Haruno and the others were leisurely relaxing.

On the beach, under the shade of a large parasol, three women were chatting, the gentle sound of waves lapping at the shore providing a tranquil backdrop.

"When will Ren-kun return?" Only two days had passed since his departure, but Mitsuha already missed him dearly. It was a kind of longing that both her body and mind craved. After all, she had experienced three years of separation and truly couldn't bear this kind of parting anymore.

"Hehe, that guy must be off playing with women in other worlds. His desires are like a bottomless pit, you know?" Hiratsuka Shizuka comforted her, but her half-smile was directed at Mai. Her words were laced with a teasing, knowing quality.

"Ugh!" At the mention of this, both Mai and Mitsuha shivered, lowering their heads shyly. How could they not understand? They had personally experienced that feeling of being perpetually taken to the peak, unable to come down. If their bodies weren't strengthened by Ren's power, they would surely be drained dry.

Shizuka-sensei suddenly propped herself up on her elbows, a thoughtful question in her eyes. "Don't you two find it strange, though?"

"What's strange?" the two asked in unison.

She placed a hand on her flat, bikini-clad abdomen. "He and I must have done it dozens, even hundreds of times, right? Every time, it was unprotected, and he finished inside. Why are there no signs of a baby?"

"…" She had truly blurted out something astonishing.

Sakurajima Mai looked at her own abdomen in disbelief. Dozens... even hundreds… That… that's too outrageous!

"Oh, this is normal, isn't it?" Mitsuha replied, as if this were the most common thing in the world.

"Hmm?" This time, it was Mai and Shizuka's turn to be utterly confused. Normal? How could that possibly sound normal?

As the two stared at her, Mitsuha suddenly realized what she had said. Blushing, she lowered her head and stammered, "Um… actually, because of some reasons, I spent three years with Ren-kun in another timeline."

"In those three years, he… he needed it every day… so… so much…" Mitsuha's voice grew softer, but the two with enhanced senses heard everything clearly.

"Gulp!" Hiratsuka Shizuka gulped hard, her mind reeling. She tried to imagine Ren being with her like that every day, for three whole years. "Thousands of times…" That was the minimum. She looked at Mitsuha's belly. "And you don't have a child?"

Mitsuha vigorously shook her head. "No, no!"

"Ah?" Thousands of times and still nothing? Shizuka was stunned.

Feeling misunderstood, Mitsuha quickly explained, "It's like this. Ren-kun told me that the world has many unknown dangers, and he doesn't want to have children until those are completely dealt with. So..."

"Understood." If he didn't want it, then with his power, he could easily ensure it.

"No wonder he always finishes inside," Shizuka-sensei clicked her tongue. She had wondered why he would do that even when it wasn't her safe period. She thought he didn't mind, but it seemed he was just very confident. She turned her curious gaze to Mai. "Mai-chan, I remember it was your first time with him, right?"

"Uh... mm." Mai nodded awkwardly.

Shizuka-sensei's eyes commanded an answer. "Also inside?"

"..." Mai's entire body flushed a deep red. This question was too awkward; how was she supposed to answer?

Fortunately, someone—or something—came to their rescue.

"Splash!" A huge wave surged from the calm sea.

"Roar!!!" Accompanied by a deep roar, a gigantic green monster, over a hundred meters tall, burst out of the water, its fangs and claws brandished with awe-inspiring menace.

If it were ordinary people, they would have been scared to death.

"Ah..." Yotsuba, who was building a sandcastle nearby, had just let out a cry of surprise, but her voice was eerily cut short.

The reason was Kaguya. She had been elegantly dipping her feet at the water's edge, not wanting to get her pristine swimsuit wet, but was now completely drenched by the surging wave.

"!!!" A cold, dangerous glint flashed in her crimson eyes.

"Crack! Crack! Crack!" A chilling aura instantly erupted from her, far colder than any winter's day. The very air seemed to crystallize. The sea surface and the giant beast were instantly frozen solid. In the blink of an eye, a massive, grotesque ice sculpture shimmered in the sunlight, the monster trapped within it in a pose of terrifying aggression.

The beast, which hadn't even had time to display its power, had died so inexplicably. Kaguya's ice wasn't simple freezing; every single one of the monster's cells had been invaded and necrotized by the extreme cold.

"What is this?" Everyone gathered around, drawn by the commotion.

"Wow! What a huge monster!" Yotsuba stood below it, not even as tall as one of its scales.

"Wuwu!" Sagiri, scared, burrowed into Ms. Izumi's arms. Although Ms. Izumi was also scared, she pretended to be calm and comforted her daughter.

Mi-chan, seeing this, also burrowed into Utaha's embrace. Utaha gave a wry smile, comforting her like a mother. "This looks abnormal."

"I wonder if it's the child of that super-large monster from before, come for revenge?" Fujiwara Chika guessed.

Phantylia's gaze swept from the monster to the distant sea, her expression cold. "It's not. There's a spatial wormhole in the sea, and that monster came out of it. Inside is a special world, with life, though very weak."

"Spatial wormhole…" Everyone looked at each other.

"How should we deal with it?"

Phantylia raised her hand. A golden lotus of light flew into the sea at extreme speed. "I've temporarily sealed the entrance. No more monsters will come out. Let's wait for Master to return."

"Alright." Everyone approved.

All that was left was the monster ice sculpture. Yukino stepped forward and directly activated her spatial void power, instantly sucking the gigantic monster into it in the blink of an eye. "Let's leave it at that for now."

The monster that had rushed out so menacingly had failed to make any real waves. Only Kaguya wore a bitter expression, her body still drenched and dripping.
