Chapter 471 - LOD Chapter 468: Escaping in the First Battle

A faint, dark-gold mist seeped out from Aaron's body, smoothing the rippling void and causing the slippery, transparent tentacles to retract as if electrocuted.

He was not Klein. At the Angel level, after deeply integrating with the Nation of Disorder and reclaiming the Uniqueness of the Justiciar Pathway, even the Evernight Goddess could not completely block his connection to the Sefirah.

In other words, even in Foggy Town, for a certain period, he still possessed a status comparable to a King of Angels.

Aaron raised his right hand, held in a loose grasp, and a wisp of dark-gold mist, tinged with gray, swirled, seemingly attracted by the slippery tentacles behind the illusory Door.

This was the imprint of the Nation of Disorder that Aaron had left on Klein in Tingen City, or rather, a unique form of corruption.

Previously, when Klein had not yet become a demigod and was merely accommodating Sefirah Castle, Aaron could forcefully suppress the Sefirah Castle's rejection by relying on his own status.

If he were to do that again now, it would only accelerate the revival of the Celestial Worthy's consciousness within Sefirah Castle, as he lacked the concealment of the Authority of Secrets.

After sealing away this imprint, which was tainted with the aura of Sefirah Castle, Aaron looked towards the source of the countless slippery tentacles behind the illusory Door: an ancient, mottled stone chair, its surface inlaid with dull gold and precious stones.

Countless transparent maggots clustered together, sitting on the enormous chair. As if sensing Aaron's gaze, they slowly squirmed, growing wildly, and extending nearly invisible tentacles.

Watching this Antigonus family's Half-Fool who had lost control, a golden halo gathered in Aaron's hand, forming an unreal brass book. After bowing slightly to the statue of the Mother beside him, he ignored the Door and appeared directly on the summit of the Hornacis mountain range.

In the silent, mist-shrouded world, Klein stumbled for a moment before steadying himself. He glanced at the faintly visible church in the distance, then warily surveyed his surroundings.

After discovering that the Crimson Moon in the sky was obscured by the mist and there were no other dangers, Klein took a deep breath and slowly exhaled, forcing himself to calm down before inspecting the three marionettes Aaron had just given him.

"One Traveler, two Prometheus. They are both Similar Sequences of the Seer Pathway…."

Nodding thoughtfully, Klein, after fully controlling these three marionettes, immediately activated the "Traveler's Door." He confirmed that while he couldn't enter the Spirit World, it could still serve for short-distance teleportation, which made him relax.

Manipulating a few marionettes to explore the surroundings, Klein hid in a civilian house. His spirituality poured into the "Creeping Hunger" he had been wearing on his right hand, and the surroundings immediately deepened into Darkness, even the crimson moonlight filtering through the window instantly vanishing.

Pale, eerie green, complex, and bizarre symbols emerged in the Darkness. Markers and patterns detached from the "Creeping Hunger," intertwining and combining in mid-air, evolving into a mysterious, illusory pair of bronze Doors.

It was a pity that the deep, silent world behind the Door was completely replaced by Darkness, but Klein could still feel the power contained within the bronze Door itself—this was Mr. Azik's gift before his departure.

Just as he was inventorying the trump cards he could currently use, Klein's spirituality was touched. The marionette exploring the east side of the town sensed undisguised corrupt malice.

"The one who dares to be so blatant in a place like this should be Mr. A of the Aurora Order…."

Making a quick judgment in his mind, Klein directly swapped positions with the marionette. Compared to a genuine demigod Demoness, Mr. A, who was essentially only Sequence 5, was clearly easier to deal with.

More importantly, he wanted to use Mr. A to assess his true strength after advancing to Bizzaro Sorcerer.

Almost immediately after Klein swapped positions, as if attracted by flesh and blood, the shadows at the street corner abruptly began to twist and squirm, accompanied by a wave-like surge of negative emotions.

A mass of writhing flesh, nearly four or five meters high, appeared within it, having completely lost its human form. Only a pair of pale gray eyes, a mix of madness and indifference, protruded from the top.

From the rest of this flesh mass, limbless stumps without skin, flowing with viscous blood, grew out, and illusory, dark wings emerged from the corrupt tide behind it.

Klein, who had intended to gauge the strength of this Aurora Order Shepherd, immediately stiffened. He felt an aura originating from the same source as when he had faced the True Creator's offspring in Tingen City, instantly understanding what Aaron meant by corrupted distortion.

"My crisis premonition has declined too severely since I lost my connection to Sefirah Castle…."

He cursed inwardly. Klein instantly changed his plan. If it were just a pure Shepherd, even if he had lost control, he would only be a little difficult to handle.

But Mr. A, carrying the True Creator's corruption and the negative emotions of the entire Backlund, was simply a death knell for Klein, who was still striving to digest the potion and maintain the stability of his divinity.

Ignoring his thoughts, Klein saw the flesh Monster lunging at him. Using the cover of a flame leap, he changed his appearance with the ability of a Faceless.

The flames dissipated, revealing a female figure enveloped in a dark robe. Beneath the wide hood was a beautiful face and slightly dull, dark eyes.

Disguised as the Mother, Klein keenly noticed that the moment this figure appeared, the originally wildly spreading corrupt aura instinctively retracted. The gray eyes, completely filled with madness, showed obvious fear, and with it came the feedback of the Bizzaro Sorcerer potion slowly digesting.

Using this opening, Klein's marionette appeared beside him, taking him away via "Travel," leaving behind the increasingly mad flesh Monster, which realized it had been deceived.

In a room somewhere in Foggy Town, "Desperate Nightingale" Panatiya, dressed in a pure white robe, slowly rose, expressionlessly turning her head towards the direction of the roaring sound.

A moment later, the corners of her mouth slowly spread into a grin, revealing neat, white teeth and strands of bloody flesh caught in the gaps.

Desi Bay, Esokson Port.

As the southernmost island in Desi Bay, passing it meant entering the Berserk Sea, that domain ruled by never-ending storms.

Under the strange gazes of the dock workers, the well-known "Black Tulip" left the port and sailed towards the Berserk Sea.

Frank, simply wearing a coat, stood in what used to be Klein's captain's cabin, waving enthusiastically. He seemed to be saying something, but it was lost in the biting wind and could not be heard clearly.

It wasn't until this Druid disappeared from sight that Leonard, not wearing his iconic red gloves and dressed in plain clothes, relaxed his expression and muttered softly:

"I hope we never meet again…."
