Chapter 136 - Chapter 801 – 802

Chapter 801 – "The Fourth Seed Blooms"

The eighth night in the secret territory was unusually still. The distant groan of shifting ice could be heard beyond the cavern walls, but within the camp, the fires burned steadily, and the air was filled with the faint herbal fragrance of dried spirit leaves.

Alex was seated at one of the smaller fires, carefully refining a batch of mixed herbs and powdered crystals. The process was slow, deliberate — mana threads weaving between the ingredients in patterns that seemed to defy the usual methods of alchemy.

The former Sect Master of Crystal Lotus Hall approached without announcement, her steps light but purposeful. She carried a small satchel, which she placed beside him before sitting down.

"I brought some herbs I collected today," she said. "I thought they might be useful for… whatever it is you're doing."

Alex glanced at the satchel, then at her. "You don't know what I'm making."

A faint smile touched her lips. "No. But I'd like to find out."

She leaned slightly closer, her eyes tracking the slow dance of glowing motes over the mixture. "This isn't pill-making. It's not brewing either. It's… something else entirely."

"It's a method from my world," Alex replied, his tone calm. "Part science, part magic."

Her brow furrowed in intrigue. "And no one else here knows it?"

"Not unless I choose to teach them," he said, meeting her gaze.

Her fingers brushed one of the herbs from the satchel, turning it between her fingertips. "If someone wanted to learn… would you teach them?"

"Depends on the person."

She tilted her head. "And what would make someone… the right person?"

Alex gave a faint, knowing smile. "Trust. Loyalty. And the willingness to listen when I say something's not to be shared."

There was a pause before she set the herb down again, her eyes narrowing with thought. "…So you keep your most valuable secrets close."

"That's the only way to keep them safe," Alex said simply.

Across the camp, Yu Mei watched, her gaze sharp with satisfaction. "The fourth one's already leaning forward," she murmured.

Shi Lian followed her line of sight. "And she doesn't even realize she's already halfway under your thumb."

Yu Mei smirked. "By the time we leave this place, she'll be wondering how she ever worked without him."

Her eyes lingered on the weaving threads of mana, the precise timing of each shift in heat and energy. After a long pause, she asked, almost cautiously, "If I wanted to learn this… could you teach me?"

Alex didn't hesitate. "Yes."

Her head tilted, a flicker of surprise breaking her otherwise composed expression. "Just like that? You'd share something like this with me? It's… clearly a secret."

"It is," Alex admitted, "but I decide who I trust with it. And right now, I trust you."

For a heartbeat, she could only stare at him — the weight of those words hitting harder than she expected. Then, without another question, she moved closer, her eyes sharp with focus as he began to explain the first steps.

He guided her through the process slowly, letting her take over portions of the work under his steady instructions. His voice was calm, patient, every correction precise but never condescending.

Before long, the glow of the ingredients pulsed in rhythm with her mana, the mixture beginning to stabilize. She caught the faint upward curve of his lips when she completed a particularly difficult adjustment without prompting.

"You learn quickly," Alex said.

She glanced up at him, an unguarded smile tugging at her lips. "Only because you're a good teacher."

Alex gave a slight shrug, but there was a glimmer of amusement in his eyes. "Maybe. Or maybe you're just someone worth teaching."

The warmth of his words lingered far longer than the heat of the fire between them.

As she refined the mixture under his guidance, Alex's hand shifted subtly, and an almost imperceptible shimmer spread through the air around them. The faint sounds of the camp dulled, the flicker of the fire slowed, and even the drifting snow beyond the cavern ceiling seemed to hang in place.

She blinked, realizing something had changed. "What did you just do?"

"Time magic," Alex said simply. "Along with the Law of Mana and the Law of Space."

Her brows drew together slightly. "The… Law?"

He adjusted the flow of mana through the ingredients without missing a beat. "I've set the ratio here to one to a thousand. For every single day that passes outside, a thousand will pass in this space. We have all the time we need, and no one outside will even notice."

Her lips parted slightly, a flicker of astonishment in her eyes. "A thousand…?"

Alex nodded. "Enough to master something like this without losing even an hour of the others' time."

She hesitated, clearly curious, but didn't press. The words "Law of Mana" and "Law of Space" lingered in her mind, heavy with meaning she didn't fully understand. Still, she chose not to ask further, sensing instinctively that such things were not casually discussed.

Instead, she focused on the work before her, the hours — or perhaps years, by their new measure — stretching comfortably as she grew more skilled under his watchful eye.

Time flowed differently in the bubble Alex had woven — an endless stretch of days within a single heartbeat outside. What began as hesitant attempts soon became fluid movements, each gesture of her hands echoing the precision he had shown her.

Three years passed in that suspended world.

By the end of it, the former Sect Master of Crystal Lotus Hall moved like a master of the craft, her mana flowing through the herbs and crystals with flawless control. She no longer needed Alex's corrections; her instincts now matched the discipline he had drilled into her.

When she finished the final batch, sealing it with a perfect stabilizing weave, she set it down gently and exhaled — the look in her eyes a mixture of pride and something softer.

"I've mastered everything you taught me," she said quietly. "Every step, every detail… I won't forget any of it."

Alex regarded her with calm satisfaction. "You've earned it. You worked for every bit of it yourself."

She shook her head slightly. "No… without you, I never would have known this was even possible. You gave me years of your time — years — and asked for nothing in return." Her voice lowered, carrying a weight of sincerity she rarely showed. "That's not something I can ever repay."

Alex didn't respond immediately, just met her gaze with the same steady calm he always had. "I didn't give you time to make you owe me. I gave you time because you were worth it."

Something in her chest tightened, and she had to look away before the warmth in her expression betrayed her too openly.

Across the still-frozen camp, Yu Mei's eyes glimmered with triumph. "Three years in his presence… she's his now, even if she doesn't realize it yet."

Shi Lian's lips curved faintly. "That's not a seed anymore. That's a flower in full bloom."

As the final mixture settled in its container, Alex glanced at her, a faint curve touching his lips. "You know… I've never even asked for your real name since we met."

She looked at him for a moment, then smiled — a small, genuine smile that softened her normally composed features. "It's Xue Lian."

"Xue Lian," Alex repeated, testing the sound of it. "It suits you."

Her smile lingered, and though she said nothing more, there was a quiet warmth in her eyes — a subtle shift, as if giving him her name was more than just an introduction. It was an unspoken acceptance.

From their fire across the camp, Yu Mei caught the exchange and arched a brow. "She gave him her name," she murmured to Shi Lian.

Shi Lian's lips curved knowingly. "Names have power. And she just gave hers to him willingly."

Chapter 802 – "The Flower's Bold Request"

The time bubble shimmered faintly around them, the air heavy with the quiet stillness of a world untouched by the outside. For three years within this space, Xue Lian had trained, learned, and grown under Alex's guidance. The weight of that time — the intimacy of shared hours and quiet moments — pressed closer than the air itself.

As Alex adjusted the mana threads holding the temporal field steady, she turned to face him fully, her long hair spilling like silk over her shoulder. The faint glimmer of determination in her eyes was different now — not the cautious curiosity she'd first shown, but something sharper, more certain.

"Don't end this yet," she said, her voice low, steady.

Alex raised an eyebrow slightly. "You still want to train more?"

Her lips curved faintly, but the heat in her gaze betrayed the meaning behind her words. "No… I want to be one with you." She stepped closer, her tone deepening into something that carried both longing and resolve. "I want to feel you. I want to have sex with you."

The air between them tightened, the faint hum of the time field like a heartbeat in the silence.

Alex searched her eyes for any trace of uncertainty, but there was none — only the absolute confidence of a woman who had already decided.

Across the camp, not a second had passed… but here, in this suspended eternity, Xue Lian's boldness carried the weight of years.

Her beauty was undeniable — the image of elegance and temptation woven into one. Long, dark-brown hair cascaded down her back like a river of silk, catching the faint glow of the time-bubble's light. Her violet eyes held the depth of winter's calm yet burned now with an inner heat. The delicate gold ornaments in her hair shimmered faintly, framing a face that was both refined and striking.

The flowing purple robes clung to her curves, the fabric shifting with each small movement, revealing hints of her soft, pale skin beneath. The deep neckline and high-cut skirt left little to the imagination, while the translucent blue sashes swirled around her like lotus petals caught in a breeze. Sitting in the stillness of the frozen time, she looked like a lotus goddess come to life — one that had chosen her master.

Alex's gaze lingered on her for a long moment before he lifted a hand. A ripple of spatial energy formed in the air, and from his dimensional storage, a large, luxurious bed unfolded into existence beside them. Its surface was draped in silken sheets, impossibly soft even in this isolated space.

He turned to face her fully, his tone calm but carrying the weight of finality. "Xue Lian… are you sure you want to be mine?"

She met his gaze without hesitation, her voice unwavering. "I've never been more sure of anything."

The hum of the time field seemed to grow quieter, as if the entire suspended world were waiting for his next move.

Before Alex could speak further, soft footsteps approached from beyond the bed's edge in the quiet bubble. Xue Lian turned her head to see Yu Mei and Shi Lian stepping into the suspended space as if they had always belonged there. The ripple of spatial magic at their entrance was so smooth it barely disturbed the air.

Yu Mei's eyes swept over the scene — the bed, the closeness between Alex and Xue Lian — and a sly smile tugged at her lips. "Better than I thought," she murmured.

Shi Lian's gaze was softer, but there was no denying the satisfaction in her tone. "Much better."

Xue Lian straightened slightly, sensing something deliberate in their arrival. "You came here for a reason."

Yu Mei didn't bother to hide it. "We did. We've been working toward a goal — to turn all the women here, except Lan Xueya and the Sect Master of Frost Moon Palace, into Alex's sex slaves." Her voice carried no shame, only confidence.

The bluntness of it made Xue Lian's breath catch, but before she could respond, Alex stepped in, his voice firm. "Not her."

Yu Mei's brow arched. "Not her?"

Alex's gaze didn't leave Xue Lian. "She's not my sex slave. She's my wife."

The words struck harder than any cultivation breakthrough. Xue Lian felt it — a swell in her chest, a sudden heat behind her eyes she hadn't expected. Years of control kept her from crying, but the weight of being claimed not as property, but as an equal… it was almost overwhelming.

For the first time in a long while, she smiled without calculation. "Then… I will be proud to be your wife."

Yu Mei's smirk softened into something more approving, while Shi Lian gave a faint nod, as though this was exactly the outcome she'd hoped for.

Alex lifted his hand, summoning a thin thread of golden light. Mana and spatial energy intertwined in his palm, forming into a smooth silver-white ring in seconds. It gleamed softly, understated yet flawless, carrying a faint pulse of his own aura.

Taking her left hand gently, he slid the ring onto her ring finger. "For my wife," he said simply.

Xue Lian's breath caught. The cool metal against her skin felt warm from his touch, and the fact that it carried his energy made it feel alive — as if it were part of him.

From the side, Yu Mei tilted her head, her lips curling into a playful smirk. "Why stop at a ring? You should make her a choker too."

Alex glanced at Yu Mei, then back at Xue Lian, his tone a touch hesitant. "Do you… want one?"

Xue Lian met his gaze without hesitation. "Yes."

With a nod, Alex summoned his crafting energy again. This time, he shaped something more delicate — a choker only half a centimeter thick, pure white like untouched snow. Its design was simple yet elegant, and within its weave he layered various enchantments: protective wards, communication links, and a faint resonance to his own aura.

When it was finished, he stepped closer and fastened it gently around her neck. The cool touch of the material was quickly replaced by the warmth of his fingers.

She reached up, fingertips brushing the smooth surface, and her lips curved into a radiant smile. "It's beautiful… You make me feel like I'm made of the finest satin."

Her voice carried a quiet happiness, and the glow in her eyes was unmistakable — a woman who not only felt claimed, but cherished.

Yu Mei's smirk softened into approval, while Shi Lian looked quietly pleased, as if witnessing the final seal of a bond.

Alex's gaze lingered on Xue Lian for a moment longer, taking in the way the choker framed her slender neck, the ring catching the faint light as she touched it again as if to confirm it was real. The quiet joy in her expression was something he didn't want to let slip away.

He stepped forward and, without a word, drew her into his arms. She came willingly, her body fitting perfectly against his as her hands slid up his back, holding him as though she'd waited years for this moment — which, in a way, she had.

The warmth of his embrace contrasted with the cool stillness of the time-bubble around them. His scent was familiar now after years in this isolated space, yet somehow more intoxicating in this closeness. She felt the steady thrum of his heartbeat under her cheek, grounding her even as her breath grew quicker.

"You're mine now," Alex murmured against her ear, his voice low and certain.

Xue Lian's lips curved into a smile that was both soft and fierce. "Always."

The air between them seemed to shift, heat rising where their bodies met. Alex's hands slid along her waist, pulling her closer until there was no space left between them. She tilted her head up to meet his eyes, the faint blush on her cheeks betraying both desire and anticipation.

Without breaking their gaze, Alex guided her toward the bed he'd summoned, the silken sheets shifting as they sat together at its edge. The choker and ring gleamed faintly under the suspended light, symbols of a bond that had been sealed in both word and touch.

Yu Mei and Shi Lian exchanged a glance, then stepped back from the time-bubble's center, giving them the privacy they knew would soon be needed.

And in that suspended eternity, Alex's lips met hers — slow, claiming, and unhurried, as if the rest of the world had ceased to exist.
