Chapter 5 - The princess and the prep class

The academy is pretty much a city.

The freshmen — which are first-year students — have their own classes. Second-year students as well, and third-year students too.

Each class is divided by subject.

But enough about the academy crap.

In this school, one thing that Ed really advised me not to get into is the mess between a noble and a commoner bullying each other.

In my class, there are these three nobles.

They're really strong — well, at least people call them strong.

They are in my class, and they act and overreact.

Beating the shit out of a nerd student is something I highly disagree with.

After a walk in the school, I got into my class. No one was actually there. I sat in the corner of the class.

One of the three woke me up — and the moment he saw my face, his *ss was trembling as hell.

A good way not to get into fights is to intimidate the opponent.

By doing so, the opponent will at least have a thought like:

"Maybe I shouldn't be reckless."

He then said,

"Sorry, I thought I knew you…"

He left and talked about me with his friends.

He was so scared that his hand shivered.

My very own gaze… is a gaze that has seen many dead bodies.

It was a death stare — a stare I didn't learn to glare with, it just comes with a lot of violence.

So he didn't want to say I looked scary.

He faked it, saying,

"This guy is a bully, I swear. Let's not mess with him. If you guys want, go mess with him, but I think we should stay in peace — at least until we dominate."

They all said,

"You're a smart one, him."

And they walked out of the class.

I didn't sleep last night.

Yeah…

I was tired as f*ck — that I slept, and someone woke me up again.

This time, it was a very elegant and beautiful lady.

She was almost… a goddess. The beauty of her eyes.

The scent of her smell.

She was flawless — and now that she's a woman, she actually…

Watching me with a disgusted face? Wait — what did I do?

Let's calm down. She ain't gonna turn down a hot top-notch like me.

I dare her to.

Wait — she raised her eyebrows... No way.

Okay. Let's gently act like a man.

 "Is there something wrong?"

She's nodding. Why is she just nodding? Talk to me — let me hear your voice.

"So… huu… why did you wake me up?"

She pointed to the teacher.

Ohh… teacher.

Waiiii… iiit wha… at — class has begun?! Damn, bro.

 "My apologies."

The teacher is just grinning, looking straight at me.

I feel it's kinda disrespectful.

Me. Sleeping.

On the first day, at that. What a shame, bro.

Teacher:

"Wake up. Come over here."

Nooo… way.

Why is the teacher taking it too far?

He thinks I'm just a worthless commoner.

Come on, bro… what did I do?

Teacher:

"It's the first period and the first class of the year — and here you are, sleeping like a worthless commoner."

Who said I'm worthless?

Teachers these days…

They think of themselves like big shots.

Don't get me wrong —

I'm not saying I hate teachers…

But —

This kind of teacher ain't a teacher. It's a waste product.

It can "teach," clinging to its pride —

But it can't fight its way out of being scared shitless.

Look at him.

He looks like a total psycho.

His belly's gonna explode any time now — overeating.

The way he's dressed is so lame, none of it shows anything close to how a warrior should look.

Just a raw meat person like him… doesn't deserve to be called a teacher.

"Hey, don't you think you're going a little too overboard, teacher?"

Let's scare him a bit.

I gazed at him with my double swords.

My cunning is more than a nuisance.

Probably the type of eye I'm talking about is —

Death Stare.

Most people think it's a look you can try or fake —

Nah. I developed it naturally throughout the wars I've been through.

All those dead bodies —

The ones I killed, and the ones others did…

They made my years feel dark.

My eyes naturally have dark lines under them.

It's all because of that.

It doesn't matter, even when it comes to sleep.

My death stare is so strong, I usually force my eyes wide open.

The teacher…

Stared into my eyes.

He saw a little too deep.

His heartbeat was slowly increasing.

I walked straight to him,

Keeping our eye contact locked.

He slowly stepped back —

Unaware he was doing it.

The moment I reached him…

He actually began to suffocate.

What a total loser.

I leaned in,

Staring dead into his eyes.

He raised his chin, bending backward.

The table behind him —

He actually leaned on it for support.

I reached out, grabbed his tie, and adjusted it.

"There you go. Your tie was a bit messed up — had to correct it."

Teacher:

"Huuuuuuu… was that… hypnosis? No, he barely used any spells or incantations…"

Yeah, that's it.

I didn't even need to use a spell — or whatever you guys call it.

Actually… I don't even know how to use spells.

No one laughs.

Okay. Fine.

There's no way I'd use a spell or incantation.

That's probably the laziest thing a human can do.

Teacher:

"Thank you. Now get back to your seat."

No way. He actually pulled himself together…

And said that's interesting.

Very interesting.

Haha… whatever.

There we are.

My perfect seat.

I really enjoyed playing along with the teacher.

What's he teaching now?

He's talking about magic and stuff…

Let's see how that helps when fighting an orc.

He'll get his ass handed to him.

Even a hobgoblin

Could easily walk all over him.

Teacher doesn't understand.

Maybe he's never even fought in a war.

Let's see what he's got to—

Ohh… she dropped something.

No biggie.

I'll pick it up for her.

"Wait — I'll pick it up."

"There you go."

I handed it to her —

Gently touching my finger to her palm.

Shit… I'm getting turned on.

Nah… probably an error in my body system.

 "Th… tha…"

What's that? What is she saying?

"Is something wrong?"

 "Tha… nk… yuu…"

 "It's okay."

Man… she's shy.

So shy. I swear — so damn shy.

People really do change as they grow.

Not just physically.

Unlike our teachers —

Whose body and mind are completely unmatched… in the worst way.

We actually develop new behaviors.

I'm only talking like this to you guys.

Because —

When you're a man…

You say less than 25% of what matters.

…Nah.

I probably messed that up.

Maybe 50%.

Whatever.

That's it.

Leave them all hanging.

Cliffhangers work.

How?

Don't ask. They just do.

Well —

Putting my manly life aside…

There are many monsters I've seen in my adventures.

But…

I've never seen that one.

He's a student — sitting quietly in the other corner.

Wears a black coat.

Sounds interesting, huh?

WITH AN ACADEMY UNIFORM.

Get out, bro. Get out.

Damn.

He only wears it to hide his face.

---

Who is that…?

Isn't she a noble?

Or supposed to be?

Look at her sitting — damn.

She's actually a man disguised as a woman.

No woman sits with her knees apart.

And woo… why is she so big?

There is absolutely no way she doesn't have food hidden under her desk.

Wow.

Are they really the so-called Saviors?

Someone once told me,

"The blood of those loved by mana flows through them…"

Yeah…

If by "mana" he meant fat-*ss and this dissatisfied attitude,

Then maybe.

---

Just keep learning, huh?

Kinda a waste of time.

I don't need to study goblins to kill them.

Scaring them is enough.

For me, that is.

---

The Old Man was something else.

He actually taught me magic.

But what I'm into now…

Isn't magic.

And surprisingly,

The magic he did teach me was called—

——— SILENT SPELL ———

Ironic, isn't it?

---

I can cast a fireball.

A water ball…

Just by extending my arm.

It feels kinda vivid when I think about it —

But even after that, I watched others cast magic…

They were utterly useless.

One of them stood out, for some reason.

Well… not because she's a magician —

But because she's the only girl in the group.

Who knows who her boyfriend is…

Nooo!!

Back to the topic — stay focused.

But still… damn, that many?

Anyway.

She stood tall and declared:

"I call out to you, spirits of the world! God of the flaming—!"

Then boom.

She cast this huge fireball…

That wouldn't even last a campfire.

---

Strange.

If you ask me what's strange…

It's how everyone cheered her on like she was some damn celebrity.

Such a killer girl.

I mean… I can't blame them.

She's got that body.

The kind that cheers itself up, you know what I mean, guys…

---

Half an hour later…
