Chapter 465 - BRC Chapter 460: Snake Demon, I want you to help me practice!

Evening.

At Dumbledore's kind invitation, Yang Tao stayed at Hogwarts to enjoy a legendary 'white people's meal'.

Despite the seemingly delicious food, Yang Tao only took one bite before giving up on the arduous challenge; truthfully, it wasn't even as good as Hagrid's rock cakes.

Not only was there no cumin on the roasted meat, but there wasn't even salt; instead, it was brushed with a very strange, sweet sauce…

This instantly shattered his beautiful illusions about Western (British) cuisine.

He plucked a grape and popped it into his mouth.

Fortunately, the fruit was quite normal.

Thinking of the students currently eating in the dining hall, Yang Tao could only lament that ignorance was also a form of bliss.

'I wonder how Harry is eating? Should I take him to get something better?'

He was eating in Dumbledore's small dining room, so he couldn't see Harry. Seeing that he had stopped eating, Dumbledore asked, "How do you find the cooking of our Hogwarts house-elves?"

Yang Tao did not answer Dumbledore's question directly but instead asked, "Are there no house-elves in China?"

Dumbledore shook his head slightly and explained, "People in China don't seem to be very fond of house-elves; they appear to dislike their appearance. However, they possess unique magical creatures: River Snail Girls."

"They, like house-elves, help wizards with housework, cleaning, and cooking, but they are not enslaved magical creatures. Wizards need to spend money to hire them."

River Snail Girl?!

Yang Tao knew far too little about the Harry Potter world.

However, since the Harry Potter world has all sorts of magical creatures, it wasn't impossible for River Snail Girls to exist.

The point was, if he had to choose, he would also choose River Snail Girls over house-elves, who were almost like mutated goblins.

He was beyond saving when it came to judging by appearance.

"Then, Headmaster Dumbledore, I sincerely suggest you hire a few River Snail Girls for Hogwarts. Trust me, you absolutely won't be disappointed."

Hearing his words, Dumbledore put down his dining knife, a helpless expression on his face, and said, "River Snail Girls, as magical creatures, dislike leaving the East, which is why there are no River Snail Girls in the West."

Dumbledore lightly clapped his hands, and the remaining plates and food on the table vanished.

This move had a rather show-offy flair.

"Mr. Yang, the Basilisk has a habit of foraging at night. Would you be willing to take a stroll through the castle with me?"

"Of course, no problem."

The Basilisk held little value for Harry's current strength; only the Basilisk's eyes and fangs could pose some danger to Harry.

He stood up and left the dining room with Dumbledore, walking down the constantly shifting staircase.

As soon as they reached the second floor, they saw Harry, accompanied by Ron and Hermione, rushing down from upstairs.

All three wore something resembling goggles on their faces. Seeing this, Yang Tao nodded slightly. The Basilisk's eyes were powerful, but its weakness was also obvious: as long as one didn't look directly into its eyes, there would be no problem. And wearing the goggles meant that even if one accidentally saw it, they would only be petrified.

Moreover, according to the original story, the Basilisk should not eat petrified creatures. For the Basilisk, petrified people or other creatures would probably be like chewing on rocks.

"Sir?!"

Harry ran to Yang Tao, a surprised expression on his face: "You didn't go back?"

He then bowed slightly to Headmaster Dumbledore, greeting him respectfully: "Headmaster Dumbledore."

Dumbledore nodded gently in response, while Yang Tao reached out and patted Harry's head, saying with a loving expression, "Not yet. I just came to see if you've resolved the Basilisk situation. What are you doing here?"

Before Harry could answer, Hermione, who was beside him, said, "Harry heard the Basilisk's voice again, and we followed the sound to the second floor!"

It had only just gotten dark; was the Basilisk so impatient to come out of the Chamber of Secrets?

"Go on, Headmaster Dumbledore and I will follow behind you."

Harry nodded lightly and ran towards the end of the hallway. Hermione and Ron, seeing this, immediately followed. Compared to a moment ago, the two of them became much calmer, after all, with Headmaster Dumbledore following behind.

The sense of security was directly maxed out, wasn't it?

Just as they turned a corner.

Harry suddenly stopped, an expression of listening on his face. Seeing this, Hermione immediately pulled Ron and directly covered his mouth.

"Shh, quiet…"

Ron's face was a little red from having his mouth and nose covered.

After dozens of seconds, Ron finally couldn't hold it in and pulled Hermione's hand away from his mouth, saying, "Hey, Hermione, do you want to kill me?"

Harry then pointed to the end of the hallway and said, "I heard the Basilisk's voice coming from over there. Let's hurry!"

"Okay…"

Dumbledore looked at the three little ones running ahead, a relieved smile on his face, as if he felt he had worthy successors.

Yang Tao glanced at the mini-map; a bright red dot was moving quickly in the distance, seemingly within the wall.

He didn't make a move directly; he wanted to see how Harry planned to exert himself. Just as the red dot was about to reach Harry's location.

Harry, who was running, suddenly stopped, his gaze fixed on the Basilisk's location. A wand, emitting an enchanted glow, silently appeared in his hand.

"You be careful!"

Harry suddenly shouted and then directly closed his eyes, forcefully waving the wand in his hand. A white blade aura quickly flew out from the wand.

It struck the wall with immense speed.

With a rumble, the sturdy wall, which could collapse at any moment, instantly crumbled.

Yang Tao recognized this as the Swordsman skill '360 Troublesome Winds,' whose effect was to fire a shockwave forward, causing an explosion when it hit a block or creature.

A section of what was clearly a creature's body was revealed within the collapsed wall, but it was a bloody mess from Harry's attack.

Without a word, Harry reached into his storage bag with his other hand, pulled out his 'Birthday Gift,' aimed it at the Basilisk inside, and pulled the trigger.

Puff, puff, puff…

The firing rate of the short sword submachine gun was simply too fast, and with the Penetration and Flame Arrow enchantments, the bullets easily pierced the Basilisk's tough scales, causing severe burns.

The Basilisk let out a roar, its body twisting continuously. The enraged Basilisk fiercely crashed into the wall, but the wall, which Harry had seemingly easily broken, only trembled a few times under the Basilisk's impact.

Harry waved his wand, and beams of magical light flew out, striking the Basilisk. Unfortunately, the Basilisk's magical resistance was almost comparable to that of a dragon.

Harry, who had already awakened his basic Observation Haki, saw this situation and his face immediately darkened.

He delivered a Rankyaku directly.

At this moment, the Basilisk's head finally poked out from the opening.

But before it could clearly see the situation outside, Harry's figure appeared above its head, raising his leg high and kicking it fiercely on the head.

Bang…

The scales on the Basilisk's head and chin instantly cracked.
