Chapter 160 - 60-61

Chapter 60:128 e980 3000

The next day at school, Izuku found it hard to focus on the lessons or on Iida's project. Whenever his father was involved, Izuku just struggled to focus on anything else, so throughout the day his mind kept on coming back to the key as it sat in his back pocket. The weight of the key was a constant reminder this could very well be the last thing his father had left for him. While some part of Izuku hoped this gave a lot of answers, there was also a part of him that hoped it wasn't the end.

It always seemed when Izuku hit a rough patch he would stumble across or be given something that had been left behind by his father. It felt like Hisashi was still there helping his son when he needed it the most. It was a lifeline Izuku wasn't ready to throw away yet. Because of that, Izuku couldn't bring himself to pull out the key and look at it. Not until lunch. Where, as he was sitting down to eat, the keychain jabbed him in the butt.

"Ow." Izuku quietly let out as he quickly stood back up and pulled out the key. As he began to sit down, suddenly four trays were put down around him. Izuku looked down and saw Ilda, Ochaco, Gizon and Momo sitting down to eat with him, "Hello?"

"We figured since you're going to be joining us in 1-A, we might as well start sitting with you. To help you not feel like an outsider." Ochaco smiled as if had been her idea to try and add Izuku to the friend group.

Momo looked around as if looking for someone, "Where is your usual attachment? Hatsume, I believe her name is?"

"Probably blowing up the classroom by now." Izuku said as he sat down and began picking at his lunch.

"So Midoriya, how does it feel to be the center of attention? I haven't been able to go one day reading the news without seeing your name in it." Ochaco joked as even yesterday All Might had joked how he had never seen the media talk so much about someone else besides himself.

Izuku groaned, "I wish everyone would stop looking at me. I feel like I'm some kind of animal at the zoo."

"Well, now you know how we felt after USJ," Gizon commented, making the members of Class 1-A shutter at the memory of how much media attention they were getting. At first, it was cool, but after a while, it was just annoying.

"Well just think of practice for when we become pro heroes. On top of that you're the heir to a large tech company. Once we graduate I'm sure you and Yaomomo will be getting the most interviews" Iida said.

While Momo seemed to have accepted Iida's logic, Izuku seemed absolutely destroyed by it. So much so that he dropped his head to the table and covered his hair with his hands. This caused the key and keychain to fly up a bit before settling on his fluffy hair. The glint of the keychain caught Gizon's attention.

"What's with the All Might keychain? It's a rare one, if I'm not mistaken" Gizon said and used one of his chopsticks to gesture to the key chain of their teachers.

Confused by the question, Izuku slightly raised his head and looked across the table as Gizon. Yet before he could make a sound he felt the key within his hair. Fully sitting up, Izuku held out the key for everyone to see, "Oh, this. Last night my mom and I went over my father's will to see what he left behind for us. Most of everything went to my mom, but he left this key for me."

"Does it open a compartment in 6-G?" Iida asked.

"No." Izuku said with a slight chuckle, "It's actually to a storage unit in downtown Musutafu. Hatsume and I were planning on heading down and taking a look after school."

Momo smiled and asked, "Midoriya do you mind if I tag along with you?" Momo looked a bit flushed with her smile before she quickly added, "I mean I like to see what else your father invented."

"Um." Izuku questioned, confused why Momo was flustered with her comment. He knew his helmet had caught Momo's interest since she had asked him to create her Creati-glasses. So it won't be too far of a leap in logic to say she must be curious about what his father had left in the storage unit.

"If you don't then…" Momo's smile disappeared and she looked down-trodden.

"No, it's fine. We're becoming friends aren't we? Besides, the storage unit might be full of stuff and I could use the help to sort through it. Though I can't promise to be as exciting as 6-G." Izuku said. He was becoming better and better friends of Class 1-A and that's what friends did. Go out on outings, right?

"If it is full of your father's invention, I doubt it would be anything other than exciting." Ilda commented.

Izuku smiled at the comment. Their conversation then diverted into what they thought the midterm exam was going to be like as Ochaco had brought up Mr Aizawa mentioning it in the first period. Gizon shared Kirishima had gotten word from Kendo of Class 1-B that she had been told by an upperclassman that the midterm exam was against, not too dissimilar from the entrance exam. Just on a smaller scaled but grade more harshly.

The conversation of the group moved onto the written portion of the test and Momo shared they were making plans to have study sessions after school, so any member of class that needed the extra tutoring could get it. Izuku asked what stuff they were studying and Iida shared the study guide Midnight had created for the different classes.

Izuku looked over the different periods and found them to be similar material, if not a little accelerated. But when he got to the math class, Izuku couldn't help but let out a small laugh. Hearing this Gizon called him out for it and Izuku had to explain the difference in levels between the math Class 1-A was learning and the math he was learning in the support course.

To show the difference Izuku wrote down an equation from his latest homework assignment and then showed it to everyone. He could see the smoke coming out of Ochaco's ears, while Iida and Momo looked a bit worried as they were struggling to solve the equation, at the same time Gizon just took one look and knew it was best to not even try. Izuku tried to lessen the blow but explained it was math more geared towards engineering and as pro heroes they probably won't touch upon it.

Soon the lunch bell rung and Ochaco extended the offer to Izuku for him to join Class 1-A for one of their study sessions. Izuku thanked Ochaco for the offer but excused himself as he was going to take the time to study for the support course written test and work on the invention he was going to submit for the practical portion of the midterm exam.

After that, for some reason, Izuku found it easy to focus in class. He didn't find his mind wondering and it was easy to understand the material being taught, nor didn't the key in his back pocket feel as heavy of a burden. When the final bell rang, Izuku and Mei bagged the ir school material and shouldered their backpack. They headed for the front gate and once there Izuku stepped off to the side to wait while Mei started to walk down the hill.

When Mei noticed Izuku's lack of movement, she turned to look back a him, causing him to say, "Oh sorry, I forgot to mention, I invited some from friends 1-A to join us."

Mei said nothing as she walked back to Izuku and waited. They didn't have to wait for too long as only a few minutes later, Gizon, Ochaco, Momo and Ilda came walking out of the main building. Ochaco had some medical wrapping over her wrists while Gizon suspiciously had a bruise over his left eye.

Gizon called out, "Hey Midoriya. Where's your pro hero escort?"

Izuku laughed. It had been a sight for the other students to see Izuku being escorted off campus by a different teacher every day, just drawing more attention to him than he wanted, "I think it's Eraserhead today. I'm sure he was watching from a distance. Or in a coffee-induced coma somewhere on campus. Hisahito, if I'm not mistaken aren't you supposed to be in detention? Today is your last day."

Gizon just shrugged with no witty comeback. As Izuku said, Eraesrhead was in a coffee-induced coma, not that Gizon had seen to that. Nor was he worry that it could come back to bite him later, and if some how did, then he would deal with it then. With that settled, the group headed down the hill and to the bus stop. On the bus Izuku paid for his and Mei's ticket, while Gizon covered Ochaco's ticket, earning him a smack on the back of the head. Iida and Momo paid for their own tickets. As they got into their seats, Izuku looked up the address for the storage lot to find what bus stop they needed to get off at.

Once they arrived at the stop the group got off and Izuku led the group to the storage lot. After a short walk, they arrived at the front office of the storage lot and Izuku rang the bell at the open window. A few seconds later a man with a graying hair walked out from the back and up to the window. Looking over the group he asked, "What can I do for you young misters and madams?"

Izuku reached into his back pocket and pulled out the key and key chain. He showed it to the man and said, "My father left me this key to one of your units."

The man typed on his computer and asked, "What's the unit number?"

"342." Izuku said

"342." The man, absently minded, said as he started to type but then he realized what number Izuku had said, "Excuse me, but you said Unit 342, right?" -Izuku nodded, "You're Hisashi Sutaku's son then. Well the last time your father was here, he told me you would show up one day in the future. He even left me question I was suppose to question before I let you in."

The man stepped back from the counter and began looking through a file cabinet, "I know I left it here somewhere." After looking through three drawers, the man pulled out a piece of paper and walked back to the counter, "It's a riddle."

"Let's hear it." Izuku said.

The man cleared his throat and said, "Once created I can never be destroyed. I never change but I am always evolving. I can spark a war or destroy an army. I am mightier than a pen or the sword. What am I?"

"Well I've never been good at riddles." Ochaco admitted, metaphorically taking a step back.

Iida, Gizon and Momo started to converse amongst themselves to come up with a solution, Izuku went over the wording of the riddle over and over in his head. It was the same as when he was first walked into Class 6-G, Hisashi had blocked access behind a question that only people who really knew he would be able to answer. So Izuku thought about everything he knew about his fathers. Over the years things had come and gone, and not much stayed the same. But the one thing that was always clear was Hisashi and his support of Izuku's dream. Hisashi had dedicated years to providing a path for Izuku to take to become a pro hero.

Something he had nearly given up on. Then it struck Izuku.

While Izuku might once have given up on his dreams to be a pro hero, the idea of being always lingered in the back of his mind. An idea that was always in the back of his mind and couldn't destroyed. An idea the was helping him become one of the best pro heroes to ever exist.

"An idea." Izuku starkly said, cutting off Iida and Gizon's rant about atoms, "Once created an idea can't be destroyed. It can start or end a war if enough people believe in it."

Everyone looked at the man who smiled and said, "Good job kid, your father said you would be a genius. I never could figure it out. I had to look at the answer." The man then reached under the counter and hit a button, "You're good to head in. And I hope you find what you're looking for."

The group began walking down the road of the storage unit lot, not entirely sure where to go, but then Gizon noticed the row of storage units with numbers beginning with 300. They quickly walked to the row and storage units with the numbers, "300, 302, 304."

"Alright so even on this side, odds on that side." Izuku said, pointing to the appropriate sides, "Let's find unit 342."

They quickly jogged down the row of storage units until Gizon stopped at a large orange door that had 342 in white paint in the upper corner. Izuku and Mei caught up to the group and Izuku pulled the key out of his pocket. He knelt down and inserted the key into the lock at the bottom of the door. After turning it, the sound of metal moving told Izuku the unlock was undone and he quickly pulled it off.

Gizon crouched down at the other end of the door and together he and Izuku slid their fingers into the small handles on the bottom, "Alright let's see what my father left me." Together Gizon and Izuku lifted the heavy door and the first thing to come out was a large thick cloud of dust that enveloped the group. This caused everyone to start coughing while Mei had to joke, "At least it isn't as bad as 6-G."

Everyone had to take a step back to breathe, and then Gizon slipped his UA jacket off and began using it as a big fan. Ochaco and Ilda were quick to join him and soon the dust cloud thinned out enough that they could step into the storage unit without too much trouble breathing. Ilda and Ochaco slipped their jackets back on while Gizon wrapped the sleeves around his waist.

With the storage unit clear of dust everyone looked around to see what was in it and found it surprisingly not too full.

The first few cardboard boxes were filled with notebooks, journals and some blueprints. There was an old mattress off the side squished between an old wooden table and the wall. The mattress and table were most likely from whatever living space Hisashi had lived in while away from Inko and Izuku. There were scratch marks and pen lines all over it, showing the years of usage.

"Does this unit feel a little small to any one else?" Iida asked, but everyone was too involved looking through boxes to answer.

The back and side walls of the storage unit housed metal shelves that were filled with more boxes. Most of the boxes were filled with more notebooks and blueprints, but then Gizon opened two and found they were filled with Pro Hero memorabilia. He took the two boxes to the tables and after setting them down, he called over to Izuku, "Hey. Sutaku, come take a look at this. These boxes are labelled, 'Gifts for Izuku."

Izuku came over and Gizon reopened the first box and began to pull items out, "You've got merchandise from Japan, Great Britain, Ireland, Egypt, Otheon, Australia, Brazil, America, even Russia. Seems like your father did some traveling around the world."

"Yeah, it seemed like he did." Izuku said as he overlooked the pile, he noticed a paper crane with writing on it that was in a small glass box. Izuku grabbed it out and looked over the crane, "Seems my father wasn't just traveling." Izuku then turned the glass box to reveal Salaam's signature on one of the wings.

"Those are not the only hero-related things in here," Momo said as she suddenly put a large rectangle box on the table. She pulled away the already ripped-away tape and opened the box. After reaching inside, she pulled out a display case that had a pair of goggles that looked like Hawks, "Your father was building support equipment for other heroes. You mentioned your father and Hawks knew each other."

"Yeah," Izuku said as he began to look over the goggles.

"Read the plate," Momo said as she put the display case on the table.

"Hawk Eyes mark 3," Izuku said, leaning in closer to get a better look. They were similar to Hawks' current one, but the metal were a darker shade of gray from the original while the glass was red instead of a tan yellow. There were also clasps going down the ear pieces that looked they could have something attached. From the placement it was some kind of face covering, like an oxygen mask of some kind. Izuku looked around the storage unit, "Makes you wonder what other equipment he made for other pro heroes."

"Found some gloves, with a tag saying All Might." Ilda suddenly called out, holding up two massive golden gloves that would easily fit over All Might's hands.

Gizon barely looked over at them and said, "Won't work."

"Agreed," Ochaco said, without looking over as she continued to look through the boxes on the side shelves.

They continued to look throughout the storage unit, finding flash drives and a few more blueprints that had support equipment for different kinds of pro heroes. They placed all the items of interest on the table and Izuku sorted the support equipment as many had tags with hero's names. There was support equipment for some of the top pro heroes like Ryukyu and Crust, and equipment for less known, less popular heroes. Ilda found a pair of goggles that had Ragdoll's name attached, while Ochaco came across a set of black grenades that had dark purple highlights.

No name could be found on any of the grenades, so Gizon grabbed one and with effort cracked it open. He then put it back on the table and Izuku and Mei looked over it. Inside the grenade was an aerial collection system and then a delivery system. Though without a name there was no clear intention of who it was meant for. Beyond that, that seemed to be everything in the storage unit so the group began taking down the boxes that were on the back shelf. Yet once Ochaco pulled the first box down, she didn't see the back wall of the storage unit, instead the sunlight caught what looked like a black tarp.

"Um, hello." Ochaco said and this caught everyone's interest, "Can I get a light?"

Gion was quick to pull out his phone and turn on its flashlight. He held up and shone the light into the space when the box had previously been. Surprise appeared on Gizon's face as he said, "There's something behind these shelves."

"What do you mean?" Ilda asked.

"I mean there isn't a wall behind these shelves," Gizon said, as he leaned his phone against one of the poles of the shelves. He then quickly pulled out two boxes, giving the group a good view of the black trap, "This black trap created the illusion of a wall behind these shelves. This usually down to hide something from sight."

"A false wall." Momo said.

"At least a poor man's version of one. I wonder…." Gizon said as he reached into one of the boxes he had just pulled off. He pulled out a pocket knife and flicked it open. He then reached across the shelf and inserted the blade into the tarp, then pulled down to make a narrow cut. After closing the blade, Gizon reached forward and pulled the incision apart. He then grabbed his phone and held it up to the hole. This allows everyone to look through the tarp and see the other half of the storage unit. There were a few more cardboard boxes, while most of the space was taken up by a rectangle cube that was covered by two tarps.

Iida looked smug as he said, "I knew this unit felt smaller than it should be."

"Well how do you suppose we get back through? I don't plan on climbing through these shelves." Ochaco said.

"Let's see if we can find a screwdriver anywhere and dismantle it. This storage unit belongs to one of the world's greatest inventors, there's probably a tool set laying somewhere around here." Momo said as she gestured to all the boxes.

"No need. "Mei said as she reached into her backpack and pull out a set of screwdrivers. Izuku was the only one that wasn't caught off guard and thus had a small smile on his lips. She handed a screwdriver to Izuku and they began to dismantle the shelves. As the two of them did that, the hero students continued to pull off the boxes and carry them to the front.

As the shelves were slowly dismantled Gizon and Ilda took the pieces to the front. Once the shelves were all dismantled and stored out of the way, the group ventured into the other half of the storage unit. While everyone else started to look through the box Gizon walked to the back of the storage unit.

Grabbing a hold of the back tarp, he called out, "Sutaku, let's see what your father was trying to hide."

Gizon waited a moment to give everyone a chance to look up and then with some effort he pulled the tarp off to the side. A small dust cloud arose, but through it, everyone could see a light gray car, with black and white accents, car sitting underneath a wooden frame. Gizon whistled, "Nice car."

Izuku a moment to take in the car, it nicer than any car he ever thought he would own. But then he called out, "Come on, let's get the wooden famre out of the way. So as Izuku and Mei moved to either side and started to undid the screw holding the two halves of the frame together, Ochaco and Momo took ahold of the front half, while Iida move to the back to hold the back half with Gizon.

Once the screw were out Ochaco and Momo carried their half out of the storage unit, while Iida and Gizon had to lift their half of the frame to get it over the car. They all reconvened at the hood of the vehicle.

"Does this belong to you now, Midoriya?" Ochaco questioned as she looked over the car. She hadn't ever seen anything like it before and the look in everyone else's eyes said the same thing.

Izuku didn't say anything as he overlooked the car. On the front hood was the symbol of the car company, four intertwined silver rings. He didn't recognize it as a logo for any car company. "My father' will said the storage unit and all its contents belonged to me. So…. I guess." Izuku was unsure of how his father could drive such a car. Sure Izuku had inherited Classroom 6-G and blueprints and it was beyond an inventor's wildest dream. Yet to have a car that looks like this, a bit dusty but otherwise looked to be in perfect shape.

"If we want to get it running, we're going to have to replace some stuff. Gas, oil, sparkplugs." Ilda said, as he whipped some dust off the front hood, "That is if the engine will even turn over. I mean look at this thing, it's…."

"Ancient, yet futuristic." Momo offered but Ilda shook his head while Gizon stepped off to the side and walked to the back of the car.

"I've never seen anything like this, but I'd have to say it's some kind of sports car. I don't recognize the logo." Ilda said.

"Audi." Gizon suddenly called out from the gap between the car and the wall. He had crouched down so his upper body was blocked by the car. His voice was muffled so he stood back up and repeated himself, "The tag says Audi."

"Audi?" Momo repeated while the group gave a quizzical look at Gizon as none of them had ever seen an Audi that looked like this

"But Audi's logo doesn't look like this. It four circle, two on top of the others with a silver square linking them in the middle." Ilda said, tapping the logo.

"Hey, I'm just reading off the tag back here. Audi PB18 E-tron. Someone look up Audi's old logo." Gizon said.

Ochaco pulled out her flip-phone and looked up "Audi's logo throughout history." Once the search engine loaded Ochaco's eye went wide and showed the screen to the group, "Hisahito's right, that's Audi's logo right up to the quirk war."

Everyone looked from Ochaco's phone to the logo, they were exact matches.

Momo quickly pulled out her own phone and said, "You said PB18 E-tron."

"That's what the tag says." Gizon said, tapping the trunk lid with his hand.

After typing on her phone Momo said, "Okay, it looks like you have…" Momo fell silent for a moment before continuing, "Midoriya you have a 2026 PB18 E-tron."

"2026? That's beyond ancient." Ochaco said.

"Prehistoric." Gizon offered.

"So we have the company, the year, make and model. Let's see how the engine looks." Izuku said and walked over to the driver's door. He grabbed the handle and pulled, yet the door didn't open. Izuku could almost laugh at how stupid that move was, of course, his father wouldn't leave a car like this unlocked.

"Here are the stats for the car. 0 to 60 mph, huh Americans, in 2.0 seconds." Momo said in disgust, "That's 96 Kmph in 2.0 seconds, produced 671 horsepower for the base model, but modders got it up to 764 horsepower."

"How much is that?" Ochaco asked.

"Your average sedan only has 180 horsepower." Mei said and that made Ochaco's eyes go wide.

"Has 612 lb-ft of torque." Momo said as she went down the stat sheet she found.

"175 lb-ft." Mei quickly said and Ochaco nodded.

Gizon suddenly whistled and said, "Hey Sutaku, catch."

Iuzku looked up in enough time to see a pair of keys flying towards him. He raised his hand up and caught the keys. He flipped the keys around and pressed the unlock button, but nothing happened. The lights didn't go off and the door didn't unlock.

"Battery's dead. Try the key slot on the door." Ilda commented.

"Range was nearly 500 kilometers and with its 800 volt charging system it could fully recharge in 15 to 20 minutes." Momo said further listing off the stats of Izuku's new car, but then stopped as her eyes went wide. Her eyes jumped to the car and then over to Izuku. "Hey Midoriya, the base price for new is nearly 4 hundred million yen. That was back in 2026" -Everyone turned and looked at Momo- "And I can't find any modern day asking price."

"With how old it is, I won't be surprised if this is the last one in existence." Iida said as Izuku slid the key into the slot on the door and turned it. Nothing happened so Izuku turned it the other way and the door unlocked. "We're in.".

"I guess that just leaves the question of…" Momo began and Mei finished it, "Where the hell did your father find this?"

"I have no idea. Then again that describes a lot of the things he's built." Izuku said as he slipped inside and sat in the driver's seat. He looked around for a few seconds until he found a lever that had a symbol of the hood open. Izuku pulled the lever and the hood popped open. Mei slid her finger into the crack and moved her hand back and forth until she came across the latch. Unlocking it, Mei pulled the hood open, but then was met with a compartment space.

"We have a problem." Mei then lowered the hood a bit so she could look at Izuku, "There's no engine." That confused Izuku, the most important part of a car was the engine. It's what made the whole thing run, without a car being less useful than a bike.

"Ilda, you said it looks like a sports car. Aren't the engines usually in the back for those?" -Ilda nodded- "Midoriya, find the lever to open the trunk." Gizon called out.

"On it." Izuku called out and quickly found the lever to open the trunk. He pulled and once the trunk popped open, Gizon slid his hands in and lifted it up the rest of the way.

"Huh- there's no engine back here either." Gizon called, it looked any other normal trunk space.

"Why would your father leave you a car with no engine? Did he just not get around to installing it, or did he plan for you to do so?" Momo asked, but Izuku shrugged his shoulders. If there was one thing Izuku learned about his father from all his notes, he wasn't exactly a straightforward man.

To try and get to the bottom of the issue, the group headed to the back of the car. From left to right, it Ochaco, Momo, Izuku, Gizon, Ilda and then Mei. As soon as Mei got a view of the back, she huffed and said, "It's the same as the fronts. Looks more like a compartment space, rather than where you would be an engine."

"What kind of car doesn't have an engine?" Momo asked as she looked at her phone, scrolling through the article she had found on the car.

"Could it be a mid-engine car?' Ochaco asked only knowing about the type as one of her parent's employees had a car whose engine was in the middle of the car. They were also complain about how there was something wrong with the engine and how it was a chore to get to it because of it's placement.

"It's a sports car, they're known for the rear engines." Ilda said as Gizon put his hand on the soft carpeted compartment. He felt around the bottom of the trunk as if looking for a hidden compartment. But then didn't appear to be any, but then Gizon felt his finger hook into a strap of some kind.

Then Mom announced, "It's an electric car."

"What?" Izuku asked the question that was on everyone's mind.

"This article says while Audi had long had a hand in electric vehicles with their line electric sedans and Suv. The 2026 PB18 e-tron was Audi's attempt to break ground into the electric hyper-car models."

"What's a hyper-car?" Ochaco asked.

"Think Bugatti or Pagani." Iida said but Ochaco just gave him a questioning look.

"Lamborghini but way more expensive." Gizon explained to the broken girl as he looked up from the trunk, "And an electric hypercar is precisely what we have here." With everyone's attention drawn down to the car Gizon pulled on the straps, revealing the electric engine underneath, "If it's electric that means…"

"We don't have to worry about gas, oil, brake fluid." Iida listed off.

"Might have to grease an axle or two. eh, The world's oldest electric car for the world's most powerful electric quirk users." Mei said and everyone looked at her. Mei tried not to show how nervous she was being stared at by four hero students. She spent some much time around pro heroes, why was she so nervous around 1-A?

"Your father must have come across this and rebuilt it for you. It could potentially run off your quirk." Gizon said as he looked at Izuku.

"You guess it is as good as mind. But through all of his research he could never figure out how to siphon off my quirk's bioelectricity. It was Hatsume Industries that figured that out, besides my quirk would most likely fry the battery. And it I could find a way to hook my arc reactor up to it." Izuku said with a small shake of his head.

"I think I see a charging cord on the right inside the window." Ilda said, looking over the lid of the trunk and through the back window.

Everyone leaned back as Gizon lowered the trunk a bit and Ilda pointed to a long thick black cord, that had a handle on one end and a small black box on the other, that was resting just inside the window. As Ochaco was on the outside of the group and it was on her side, she quickly ran over and opened the door. She leaned in and grabbed the cord, as she walked back she stopped and said, "I'll think I found the fuel door."

Momo came around and pressed it. The fuel door compressed a bit and then popped out, revealing a port that perfectly fit the handle on the end of the cord. Ochaco inserted the handle and then brought the other end of the cord to Izuku. Izuku looked at the small black box which seemed to have a magnet on the end.

"Well here goes nothing." Izuku sighed as he pulled down his shirt until the arc reactor could be seen. He then tapped the end of the cord to his arc reactor. Instantly Izuku could feel the cord siphoning his bioelectric out of the arc reactor. Izuku then got a face that looked like he had bitten into something sore while someone flashed as light in his eyes, "Oh wo, why I taste coconut ... and metal."

Green lightning arced over the engine, and then suddenly all the lights within the cars began to flash on and off. Then the engine began to turn over, it was slow at first, but as more and more green lighting jumped across it, it started to sound like a jet engine.

Once the noise got too loud, Izuku dropped the cord and covered his ears, as did the rest of the group. As the cord fell to the ground the engine quieted down and then turned off as the green lightning stopped. Yet the headlights stayed on as the group slowly brought their hands down and away from the ears. Then everyone looked at Izuku.

"Um, I think it's charged." Izuku said.

With Ochaco and Momo still on the side, Izuku moved around them and then walked around the front and to the driver's door. He slipped back inside and then closed the door. It took a few seconds to find the start button, but once he did, he hesitated. Izuku then opened his door open and leaned out, "You might want to move to the front."

Realizing they were all next to the engine, Gizon quickly dropped the flap and then closed the lid. Then the group moved to the front and stood where the metal shelves used to be. Gizon then gave a thumbs up and Izuku pressed the button. Like before the engine struggled a bit to turn on, while the interior lights flickered on and off and the headlights turned off. Once the engine clicked and turned on, all the lights turned on and the group was blinded by the headlights.

Izuku noticed and quickly searched for the dial and turned off the headlights. As the headlights turned off the engine began to give off a futuristic purr. as if it was in a sci-fi movie. Gizon smiled and said, "Rev it."

The male instinct of 'fast car' overtook Izuku and he put his foot down on the gas pedal, making the RPMs of the car jump. It quickly picked up to jet engine sound, though it wasn't as loud as before. As the car rumbled in place, the layer of dust covering the outside of the car slowly vibrated off, revealing the true color of the car, a bright white that was a clear as full moon on a cloudless night.

In the car, Izuku gained a huge grin as he revved it one last time and then took his foot off the gas pedal. He then hit the start button again and the car turned off. He then opened his door put a foot on the ground and stood out.

"That was cool." Izuku said.

"We know it works." Gizon then turned around and saw everything that was in the way of getting the car out of the storage unit, "We're going to have to clear out this storage unit before we can get the car out of here."

"There's also the issue that none of us have a license." Ilda pointed out.

"That as well." Gizon said as he pointed a finger at Ilda, "So one of us needs to call a tow, while the rest of us clear out the boxes."

"I can handle the tow and securing us a ride," Momo said, as she pulled out her phone and moved out of the storage unit to get better reception.

"That leaves us to move everything," Gizon said. And with the five of them it didn't take too long to get everything out of the storage unit and off to the side, Ochaco and Mei moved the boxes, Gizon and Ilda moved the table and remaining shelves out of the way, while Izuku brought the boxes out from around the car.

As Izuku got back into the car, Momo told the group she had called a tow truck and she was going to wait by the front gate to wave it in. The only thing left to do was get the car out of the unit. Mei and Ochaco let the boys handle that as they sat against the table to rest.

Chapter 61: A Heartful Moment

Izuku pressed the start button, and the engine turned on more quickly and had a cleaner sound. "Ah, sounds better and better every time," Izuku commented to himself. After looking over the dashboard and making sure all the lights were off and nothing spontaneous was going to happen, Izuku put his right hand on the steering wheel while reaching over with his left hand to the middle console between the seats and grabbed the gear shifter. He pressed the long silver button and then attempted to pull the stick down to drive, yet no matter how much he pulled it, it wouldn't move.

So Izuku rolled down his window and called out, "It's not shifting into drive."

Gizon had suppressed a laugh. A genius yet still dumb. He held a hand up to his mouth and called out, "Push the brake pedal in, that's the one on the left, and then shift it into drive."

Izku took a breath as he located the brake pedal and then pressed down on it. He then pulled the stick down into drive, causing the car to suddenly lurch forward. Izuku's eyes went wide as he quickly gripped the steering wheel as if his life depended on it, while pressing the brake pedal as far down as it could go.

Gizon could see the panic on Izuku's face, so he calmly said, "Okay Midoriya, just slowly ease your foot off the brake and the car will gently roll forwards."

"You sure?" Izuku questioned.

Gizon turned to look at Iida and said, "This is the same genius who practically went to space, fought off a black Nomu and then faced the HPSC in court. And he's afraid of driving a car."

"Go easy on him. It's a really expensive car and it belonged to his father. This could very well be the last thing Midoriya's father left behind for him." Iida said.

Gizon thought about it, sure the blueprints and classroom 6-G had been made by Hisashi Sutaku. But Izuku had made so many changes to the blueprints, and classroom 6-G was nothing more than a workshop. And hadn't Izuku brought up most of the files from the room that had been stolen during the break at the beginning of the school year? So it was possible the car could be the last thing Hisashi had worked on and left behind for Izuku.

Gizon then looked at Izuku and called out, "It's going to be okay. Just like learning how to ride a bike."

"You should know I didn't figure that out until I was 8." Izuku called, panic evident in his voice.

"Okay, bad example. Now, have you ever played a racing video game, like one at an arcade?" Gizon said, recalling the amount of time he wasted on those when he needed to escape from his father and his old boss. Izuku nodded, and Gizon continued with, "It's going to be just like that with the controls being a bit more sensitive. So small corrections. Just ease off the brake and the car will naturally begin to roll forwards, Iida and I will direct you in case you need to turn the wheels." -Gizon then turned to Iida- "How are we looking?"

"Got a good half a meter clearance on this side." Iida said.

Gizon looked back and saw his side had similar clearance. Izuku then called out that he was ready, and then the car began to slowly roll forward. Gizon held his arms up and slowly brought them in, while Iida did the same. As Izuku got close to the door of the storage unit, Gizon noticed the car was getting close to his side, so he lightly gestured to the right with his index and middle finger.

Izuku gently turned the wheel to his left and straightened the car out. It slowly rolled out of the storage unit, and once the back fender was clear of the door, Gizon then gave the signal to turn the wheel hard to the left. Izuku turned the wheel as hard as he could and rolled down the road between the storage units.

"See, not too hard," Gizon called out as Izuku pulled the car alongside storage units. He pressed on the brake and shifted the car into park. He turned off the car, and as he got out, his hands began to shake. And then when he stepped out, his leg felt like noodles, so he leaned against the car to stay standing.

"Hey, pop the trunk and hood, we're going to store what we can," Gizon said as he walked up.

Izuku only gave a slow nod as he leaned against the door to hold himself up as he reached down to pull both levers. While Gizon walked to the back to fully open the trunk, Izuku did the same to the hood. Then, while Izuku, Ochaco and Mei loaded the compartment with boxes filled with blueprints, support equipment, paper cranes and hero merchandise. Gizon and Iida carried items that couldn't be loaded, like the tables, bed, metal shelves and wooden frame, back into the storage unit to be gathered at a later date.

The group then played Tetris with the different boxes to fit as much as possible into the car, even putting items in the seats, and then whatever was left over was put in the storage unit. Once everything was safely stored away, Izuku grabbed the storage lock from his backpack and then pulled the storage unit door down. He reattached the lock to the door, and after making sure it was secure, he walked back to the group. And at the perfect time, a large tow truck came around the corner and backed into the row.

The tow truck parked a few meters in front of the Audi, and then the doors opened. Momo and an older American gentleman wearing a green uniform got out. As they walked over, Momo said, "We're back."

The older American gentleman looked over the group and then said, "I recognize you lot from the Sports Festival. You're first years form UA's hero course."

"Yeah."

The older American gentleman then looked over the car. His eyes went wide, and he stepped over to inspect it. "What in tarnation are you young folks doing with a car like this?" The group gave the man a look of confusion. "Pardon, my cousin is a collector, but I've never seen anything like this before."

"It belonged to my father," Izuku said, and the older American gentleman looked over at him, and then he smiled.

"Wait a minute. You're the Engineer" The older American gentleman said it like it was a title.

"Engineer?" Izuku questioned.

"Oh, pardon. You see, fella, the Brake and Clutch towing company partners with a next-door mechanic. We were watching the UA's Sports Festival, and when you showed off that fancy suit of yours, our friend let the nickname slip out, and it's stuck since then." The older American gentleman said, walked back to his truck and after leaning into the bed, pulled out some chain. "The young lady explained the situation, you would like this car towed to your house, since none of you have a license. Also, I think your ride arrived as we pulled in. Y'all can head back over to the front and wait. I'll have your car loaded up in just a few minutes."

The older American gentleman walked back to the car and lowered himself to the ground. After a few moments, he started to attach the chains to the vehicle's frame. As the American gentleman worked, the group grabbed their backpacks and walked to the front gate. As the front gate opened, they stepped into the small parking lot and found a woman who looked to be fresh out of college, leaning against the driver's side door of a van. She noticed the group and called out, "Are you the party of six for M. Yaoyorozu?"

"Yes." Momo said as the group walked over to the van

"You said there would be a bit of wait."

"Yes, we have a tow truck that needs to follow us. They're loading up the car right now, it shouldn't be too long." Momo explained.

"Fine by me. Do any of you need some water or a snack?" The young woman asked.

"No, I think we'll be fine," Gizon said as he pulled out his phone and looked like he was answering a text. He looked a bit worried, but after some quick back and forth, his natural neutral expression came back.

Noticing this, Ochaco whispered, "Everything all right."

"Oh, just one of my neighbors needed help with something. Told him I was busy." Gizon said as he turned off his phone and slipped it into his pocket.

The wait wasn't much longer as the tow trucks pulled out of the gate and the driver rolled out his window, "Alrighty, I'm ready to go. This is the car I'm following."

"Yes." Momo said.

The older American gentleman looked over the van and at the young woman. He then leaned back into his truck and said, "Understood."

The young woman then unlocked her car, and the group of UA students piled in. As the young woman pulled out of the parking lot, she asked for an address, and Izuku gave his. It was a slow trip with the tow truck following them, but after an hour, they pulled into the neighborhood that housed Izuku's house.

Once the van pulled in front of Izuku's house, the group piled out. And while everyone else grabbed their backpack, Momo paid the woman and left her a high rating on the app.

While the group waited on the driveway, Izuku directed the American man from the sidewalk in front of his house. Once he was in line, he parked his truck and got out. The sound of the truck must have caught Inko's attention as the front door opened, and she came out as the man began to lower the car to the road.

"Izuku." Inko called out, and like a child with their hand stuck in the cookie jar, Izuku jumped around and stared up at his mom, "What is going on?'

Inko looked over the group and recognised them as members of Class 1-A, but that didn't make her any less surprised to have them in her driveway. Gizon had made it clear that Class 1-A was friendly with Izuku, but she didn't realise they had started hanging out like this after school.

"Hi Mom. Um, we made a stop by the storage unit Dad left me and we found this." Izuku gestured to the Audi.

Inko walked down the driveway, overlooking the vehicle as she got close. She didn't recognise the car at all, but recognized the logo from those old car magazines Hisashi used to have before they got married. Inko turned to her son and said, "Audi."

Izuku nodded, "It's an PB18 e-tron. We think Dad found it one day and slowly fixed it up over the years."

Inko just shook her head at that. Of course, Hisashi would leave behind a car for his son. But that could have been the only thing left in the storage unit. Hisashi didn't know when they would read his will, so he would have left something that Izuku possibly couldn't use. "Was there anything else?"

"At first it was journals, blue prints, hero merchandise and inventions, but then Uraraka discovered a black trap that created a false wall." Izuku said, pointing to Ochaco. Inko looked over at her, causing the girl to get a nervous smile. Yet Ochaco couldn't figure out why she felt so nervous, "That's where we found the car. We had to leave behind the table and mattress and whatever boxes we couldn't fit in the car."

Inko smirked a bit at the comment. While Hisashi always claimed he was fair and understanding, he always had a bit of paranoia within him. But when it came to protecting his invention and making sure they didn't fall into the wrong hands, Hisashi did his best to move heaven and earth to do so. And from that, sometimes, Hisashi was beyond cautious.

"Well, we'll have to make another trip someday to get the rest of the items. Now, about this car, we'll have to change the oil, fill it up with gas." Inko said, but was interrupted by Gizon, "Actually, Mrs Sutaku, it's electric."

Inko paused and turned away to look over at the member of class 1-A she was most familiar with, "Sorry, what was that, Hisahito?"

"The car has an electric engine from the pre quirk war era. Somehow your husband got his hands on it and fixed it up and made it compatible with your son's quirk. After a quick charge, your son turned it on and everything seems to be running perfectly." Gizon explained.

Having finished unloading the car, the older American gentleman unhooked the chains from under the car and stored them back on the bed of the truck. He walked up to Momo and said, "Car's unloaded and it rode perfectly fine the whole way here. Tires look good and the suppression is in perfect condition."

"Thank you." Momo started to reach for her wallet, but then Inko walked up.

"Thank you, Yaoyorozu, but I can cover the charge," Inko said. Momo paused. She guessed she wasn't used to not being the only rich one in the group. Inko pulled out her wallet and asked, "How much?"

"30,000 yen, ma'am." The older American gentleman said, and Inko pulled out the exact amount from her wallet. She handed it over with, "Thanks for helping my son."

"It was my pleasure." The older American gentleman said, accepting the pay and then got back into his truck. He gave a wave to the group before driving off.

Inko then turned to the group and said, "So. How about we get this thing into the garage, then I'll make your dinner before you head home, as a thanks for helping my son."

Izuku opened the trunk and the hood, and while the entire group was more than happy to help unload the car, Izuku, Mei, and Gizon did so with much more enthusiasm than the other. This wasn't lost on Ochaco. So when she and Gizon were reaching into the trunk, she quietly asked, "What are you so excited about?"

Ochaco had never seen Gizon get so easily excited over something; usually, he only got like this when he was fighting or taking down villains. She had never seen him get excited over something as simple as food.

"Mrs Sutaku's cooking," Gizon said as he pulled out the Hawk Eyes Mark 3 case. Gizon then noticed the look Ochaco was giving him, "What? Trying to do a psych test on me, just because of my past, I'm not allowed to enjoy good food."

Ochaco sighed as she grabbed the box filled with paper cranes, "No, just never knew you were a food connoisseur."

"Well, if you must now, when you've been to as many fancy parties as I have, you learn to enjoy your time at them. And I happen to have always enjoyed good food." Gizon whispered, so only Ochaco could hear.

"I thought you were only there to rob the place?" Ochaco asked.

"First rule of robbing a place. You never go in blind, and that starts by learning how to infiltrate the place. My father preferred staking the place out, and high society social parties were the easiest to infiltrate, no one questions two well-dressed, good-looking men in the middle of one." Gizon said, and Ochaco chuckled.

It took a few minutes to get all the boxes out of the car and onto the shelves in the garage. Once the last box on a shelf, Izuku pulled out the keys, and he and Inko walked down to the car. Izuku held the door open for Inko, and she slipped into the passenger seat.

Inko was cautious about getting it. It was an old car and she didn't want to break anything. Yet the moment Inko sat in the seat, she felt how comfortable it was. It was the softest material she had ever felt and slightly cool to the touch. She wouldn't be surprised if Hisashi had designed the seat to stay cool even on the hottest of days.

While Inko carefully inspected the interior, it seemed Izuku did not have the same caution. He practically slid across the hood to get to his side of the car. He quickly opened the door and slid into the driver's seat. He put the keys in the cup holder and then said, "Okay, we might wake the neighbors with this, but are you ready?"

Inko gave her son a questioning look, "What do you mean by that Izuku?"

Izuku's answer was turning the car on, and the next second, the engine roared to life. With it now being out in the open air, the roar wasn't as loud, but it still held the same amount of power. This caused Inko's eyes to go wide as she gripped the armrest and the handle next to the door so tightly her knuckles turned white. She felt the car vibrate against the ground, the power of the engine just waiting to be unleashed.

While Izuku was tempted to rev the engine, when he saw the panic on his mother's face, he withdrew his foot from the gas and slid it over to the brake pedal. As Izuku shifted the car into drive, Inko let out a slow breath and said, "Okay, let's get this thing into the garage before I curse your father any further than I already am."

Izuku had to hold back a small chuckle as he slowly let off the brake and the car started to move forward. He turned the wheel to the left to go wide and then tightly cut right to get onto the driveway without going onto the grass. As Inko's car was on the left side of the garage, Izuku steered his car to the right side of the garage. Without much issue, he managed to get the car smoothly into the garage without taking anything out.

After putting the car in park and turning the engine off, Izuku and Inko got out. As Isuku closed his door, he looked out the garage door at his friend, but noticed his neighbour across the street was standing out on her front porch.

"Hello, Mrs. Kohura. How's your evening been?" Izuku asked with a wave.

"Fine, peaceful even until a few moments ago. So tell me Midoriya, what crazy invention have you made this time?" Mrs Kohura asked.

"Um. An electric car." Izuku said as he gestured to the car with both hands.

Everyone could feel Mrs Kohura's stare as she looked over the car, and then a very dry tone said, "Huh-uh." -Before heading back inside.

Gizon slightly chuckled as he turned to Izuku and said, "I like your neighbor."

Inko then clapped her hands to get everyone's attention and then asked, "Does anyone have a request for dinner."

"Katsudon." Izuku said without hesitation, almost automatically.

"Ms Midoriya, it's alright you don't have to provide dinner for us." Iida said.

"No, please, it's no problem. In fact, I insist. I've been stuck in the office for the past four months, so I need to make up for my motherly duties." Inko said in a tone that told the group that the issue was not negotiable, while telling the group where Izuku got his more serious side from.

"Whatever you plan on cooking, Mrs Sutaku, I'm sure it will be fine." Gizon said as the rest of the group was too afraid to say anything.

Inko's face immediately lightened up, and she began to move to the door with a slight bounce in her step. "You can use the dining room table for any homework you might have.

"Actually, would it be fine if Hisahito and I finished our spar in the backyard?" Ochaco asked the group to move into the house, and they all put their backpacks on the table.

Popping up from behind the refrigerator door, Inko looked between the two of them. Both Ochaco and Gizon had super strength, and Inko had just managed to get her small garden to grow. "I have a small garden out in the corner. So as long as you're safe."

"Already planned to be," Gizon said as he took his jacket off his waist and tossed it onto a chair. As Ochaoc and Gizon walked to the back door, they started to stretch. Izuku was going to question what Ochaco meant by finishing their spar and why it needed to be finished, but decided those questions were better left unanswered.

"And for you two?" Inko asked as she turned to Momo and Iida.

"Oh, we'll just use the table to study." Momo said as she and Iida set their backpack down on the table and began pulling out textbooks and homework assignments.

Already knowing what the last two members of the group were going to do, Inko turned to Izuku and Mei and found them heading upstairs to grab something, "And you two, don't burn the house down."

Over the next hour, while Inko cooked for everyone, the pairs worked on their projects. Once dinner was ready, Inko called for everyone to reconvene in the dining room. After giving thanks, the group began to eat, and those who hadn't had the Sutaku family cooking before had to admit it was some of the best home cooking they had ever had.

Partway into the meal, Inko asked how school was going at UA, and everyone gave their different opinion on the different subjects they were studying. The conversation naturally switched to how everyone was preparing for the midterm exams, and while the members of class 1-a who were present weren't too worried about it, since they believed it would be similar to the entrance exam. Inko noticed that Mei and Izuku had a very suspicious look to them, as if they knew something.

Once dinner was over, the members of Class 1-A thanked Inko for the meal and then headed out to catch trains to go home, while Mei got a taxi back to her home. The house was quiet as Izuku and Inko cleaned off the table and then worked together to wash the plates and utensils off before putting them in the dishwasher.

"So it's nice to see you have more friends from UA." Inko said as she cleaned off a plate, "I was a bit worried you would feel isolated in the Support course."

"Yeah, What's that old joke dad used to say? Introverts don't make friends, they just get adopted by extroverts." Izuku said as he brought over the glasses from the table.

"True, but it seems you've found your place. It might not have been in the way any of us expected or could see coming. And I'm happy you've found friends along the way, you'll be able to lean on them when you need support. They'll help you one of the greatest, just as you help them." Inko said, then laughed, "And for your information, your father told that joke because of all the parties I forced him to come along to. He'd rather waste his night away in the corner of his dormitory creating a blueprint for a crazy invention."

"I won't say wasted, that seems too strong a term. I mean, he was inventing stuff," Izuku said as he put the glasses on the counter next to the sink.

"I once had to drag him away from creating a blueprint for a self-cleaning refrigerator. Trust me, if I didn't drag him along, sometimes literally, he wouldn't have much of a social life. Mitsuki would say the same thing about Marasu." Inko chuckled.

But Izuku didn't believe her, "No. Uncle Marasu. Yeah maybe when Kacchan and Aunt Mitsuki are fighting, but for the company retreats and parties. He is the life of the party."

"It took a while for him to come out of his cocoon. Back in college, Marasu fainted the first time Mitsuki said hi to him, and he always went red whenever she caught him staring." Inko said as she put the plate in the dishwasher, then started on the cups, "I thought he was going to have a heart attack when Mitsuki asked him out on a date. Well, more like threatened. She had all the boys coming after her, but the only one she had eyes for could barely form a word when looking at her."

"And what about dad? You're going to tell me that you had to ask him out on a date." Izuku said.

"No, no, he asked me out. Though Maijima later told me one of his professors had noticed him and threatened him with a bad grade if he had taken me out by the end of the month." Inko said.

"Maijima?" Izuku questioned.

"Powerloader. He and your father were roommates for a few semesters." Inko said, then stopped to look over at her son, "Had you not figured that out yet? Hisashi and Maijima were roommates at college for two and a half years."

"No, I guess that topic of conversation never came up. I just assumed after UA Powerloader got a job at a company that built pro hero support gear." Izuku said as he grabbed the utensils from the table.

"Well, according to your father Maijima had tried to get an internship but felt like he needed to get a few more years of education under his belt. In fact he was at college for two years and then disappeared for a semester, when he came back he claimed he was focusing on getting a teaching degree." Inko said, then chuckled, "Now that I think about it, he probably got an offer from UA."

"Does that mean Dad technically had a teaching degree since he taught at UA for a bit?" Izuku questioned.

"Won't be surprised, but you won't have to talk to Maijima or Principal Nezu to get an answer," Inko said.

The kitchen fell silent as mother and son finished loading the dishwasher. Then, as Inko headed upstairs to get ready for bed, Izuku grabbed his new keys and headed out to the garage. He walked across the garage and slipped into the driver's seat. After closing the door, Izuku took a slow breath as he rested his head back against the headrest.

And so he sat there in silence. Thinking about everything that had happened since meeting Mei and getting those blueprints. And how everything led to something else that led to other things. Getting those blueprints led Izuku to try out for UA's hero course. But failing that had led to getting the support course. That led him to learning about Classroom 6-G, where his father had accumulated most of his work that Izuku was working on recovering.

Classroom 6-G helped Izuku make his suit and allowed him to be trained by Hawks. Which all led to him getting first place, making his name known to all of Japan. Now that, along with his fight against HPSC, he had been given another chance to get into the hero course.

And now his actions in court, revealing the corruption within Sutein Co., had led to him and Inko reading Hisashi's will. And now he had this car, and he couldn't help but wonder what would come from it. He knew this couldn't be the end; he was sure of that. And he didn't know where the riddle, somewhere hidden within the car, would take him, but he was sure it was going to change the world.

As Izuku looked up at the rearview mirror, he calmly and softly said, "Thanks, Dad." Over the past few days, Izuku had been conflicted about whether he wanted this to be the last thing his father had left for him. But with the feeling of closeness in his chest, Izuku knew he didn't want this car to be the last thing his father had left him. He wanted more riddles to solve, more clues to follow, just so it left like his father was still there, watching over him.

Izuku wiped a single tear from his cheek and got out of the car. He walked around to the front and knocked his knuckles against the logo of the car, "I wish you could still be here. We could have taken the world by storm. Ha, I can't imagine the trouble we would have gotten up to, Powerloader would gain a lot of gray hairs. We probably would have even given Principal Nezu a run for his money, but hey, that's what would have made it fun."

Izuku sighed, then sat down and looked at his new car. "Then there's Mei. You would have loved her. She might be a chaotic gremlin, but she has this drive where she never lets failure stop her from working. I think you would have liked that about her. It's been keeping Powerloader on his toes, and I've been having to play damage control. Otherwise, UA would become a mile-deep crater before anyone knew what was happening. I don't know if Principal Nezu would be angry or if he would just laugh like a maniac. Heh, from what mom told me, I won't be surprised if you were doing the same during college.

"Whenever she gets this idea, she just has to build. She has to see if it works. I like that in her. She works to the beat of her own drum and doesn't care what others think about her. I wish I could be like that, and it sounds like you were, too. Self-cleaning refrigerator, yeah, what were you planning on doing with the food?

Izuku paused, then laughed, "A little heads up about the HPSC would have been nice. They really want our designs, but I think I've managed to get them off my back for now, but we both know how stubborn they can be. I give them until summer to try something stupid again. Hopefully, getting transfers to the hero course will make them more hesitant about coming after him. The HPSC going after a pro hero won't be too good of a look for them.

"Even if they tried to come after me, I've got a lot of people backing me.

"But Mom is doing alright. Sutein Co is down the drain, but with everything you've left us, Sutaku Industries is right on schedule to make their grand opening this summer. We're going to be helping a lot of people who need it, and all through your name. Mom's been working non-stop to make sure everything is ready, and has been meeting with Principal Nezu practically every day. I've caught Mr and Mrs Hatusme being a part of a few conversations.

"Mom's got everything squared away with Skyline Construction. They've got a contract to build a new headquarters here in Musutafu, and a production warehouse in Fukuoka and Tokyo. Still waiting for the day Uraraka finds out and hunts me down." Izuku couldn't help but laugh, "Either to thank me or to punch me."

"Summer's right around the corner but I'm not going to get much of a break. Hopefully when school started up again."
