Approximately thirty years ago.
The Holy Land, Mary Geoise.
Among the descendants of gods, the World Nobles known as the Celestial Dragons, an anomaly appeared. His name was Donquixote Homing. He loathed the decaying, stagnant life of Mary Geoise and yearned for the quiet, simple life of a normal human. Thus, he made the resolute decision to take his wife and two sons and leave the Holy Land.
However, the kind-hearted Homing underestimated the deep-seated hatred commoners held for the Celestial Dragons. Without the protection of their noble status, his family became the target of the people's fury. His wife passed away in agony and suffering. His eldest son, consumed by darkness, executed his own father. From that moment, he walked the path of evil, becoming the underworld's greatest broker, known as the "Heavenly Yaksha" — Donquixote Doflamingo.
The frail younger son, however, began a life of wandering. Fortunately, he was found and adopted by a Marine Headquarters Admiral, who raised him as his own. He trained within the Marines, eventually rising to the rank of Commander and consuming the Nagi Nagi no Mi (Calm-Calm Fruit).
Over ten years ago, to stop his brother from continuing his reign of terror, he returned to the family as the new "Corazon" (Heart). A few years later, the Donquixote family took in a young boy suffering from a terminal illness: Amber Lead Syndrome. The boy had only three years left to live. Having lost his parents and sister, he was on the verge of falling into the same darkness as Doflamingo.
To prevent the boy from following his brother's path, the kind-hearted Corazon (Rocinante) used various means to try and drive him away. But the boy remained unmoved. Over two years together, a profound bond formed between them. To save the boy's life, Corazon risked Doflamingo's wrath, took the boy to sea, and exhausted every resource to find a doctor who could cure the disease.
During their six-month journey, Corazon helped the boy—who had lost everything to war—feel the warmth of humanity once again. The boy, in turn, came to view Corazon as the most important person in his life.
But fate was cruel.
To permanently cure the boy's illness, Corazon took him to Minion Island in the North Blue. He stole the Ope Ope no Mi (Op-Op Fruit), valued at 5 billion Berries, from the hands of the corrupt Marine-turned-pirate Barrels, and forced the boy to eat it.
Afterward, they split up. Corazon drew the pirates away while the boy went to seek help from the Marines. Unfortunately, their luck was abysmal. The Marine the boy encountered was actually a mole for the Donquixote family. Upon learning that his own brother was a Marine spy, Doflamingo showed no mercy and killed him—just as he had killed their father years before. To erase all traces, Doflamingo activated the "Birdcage."
The only survivors of the Minion Island incident were two children: one was X Drake, son of Barrels, and the other was the boy Corazon had hidden using his "Calm" ability until his dying breath. That boy, saved by love and a life, was Trafalgar Law.
From that day on, Law's only reason for living was one thing: Revenge for his great benefactor!
And now, the time for revenge has come. At this very moment! In this very place! It's time for the finale!
"Dammit!"
On the execution platform in the middle of the plaza, Fleet Admiral Sengoku's face was grim. The arrival of Trafalgar Law and the Heart Pirates didn't shift the total combat power much, but Law's existence was problematic because of his ability.
The 5 billion Berry "Miracle Fruit" — the Paramecia-type Ope Ope no Mi! Inside the "Operating Room" (ROOM) created by the user, everything is under their control—be it severing bodies or swapping positions!
If Law was truly an ally to Straw Hat Luffy and Whitebeard, the rescue mission for Ace would become unprecedentedly easy. They wouldn't even need to charge the plaza; Law could simply create a ROOM covering the area and swap Fire Fist Ace with anyone at any time.
Even Sengoku felt a surge of anxiety. The situation was spiraling out of control. After a moment of thought, Sengoku gritted his teeth and looked at the two "Laws" on the ice, shouting: "Trafalgar Law! Rocinante gave his life to save you, not so you could cause chaos here!"
Though Sengoku was reluctant to use his late adopted son's name, he had to try and restrain Law's ability. Otherwise, this war would truly descend into total chaos. Luffy wouldn't be stopped, Ace's execution would fail, and the plan to annihilate the Whitebeard Pirates would go up in smoke. The Marines would become a laughingstock.
As Sengoku's voice fell, the battlefield went silent.
"What does Fleet Admiral Sengoku mean?" "Does he know that Trafalgar Law?" "Who is Rocinante?"
The Marine elites whispered among themselves. Most didn't know the name "Rocinante," as undercover agents' identities are kept strictly secret. Only high-ranking officers like Garp and Tsuru knew the truth.
On the deck of the Polar Tang submarine: "Waaaah! The Fleet Admiral is calling out to the Captain!" "Waaaah! This is the peak of the era, the Summit War! We're really here!" Two identical white bears (Bepo) were jumping up and down in shock.
"Captain!" Shachi and Penguin looked nervously at the "Law from 2 years ago." Hearing Corazon's name, the younger Law bit his lip, falling into silent memory.
It was the "Law from 2 years later" who answered.
"Fleet Admiral, I didn't come here today to help Whitebeard or the Straw Hats. I have only one goal: to settle things with Doflamingo. That's all!"
The older Law spoke calmly, then sneered. "Actually, the Marines should thank me for getting rid of that cancer among the Shichibukai!"
"What did you say?!" "Don't get ahead of yourself!" "Doflamingo is currently on our side!" Officers under Vice Admiral Vergo (the "Demon Bamboo") shouted back.
"Fuffuffuffuffu!" After a brief moment of shock, Doflamingo burst into a wild laugh. He looked at the older Law, then at the younger one. "What kind of wind is blowing today? Not just the Straw Hat brat, but even you, Law, have become two!"
"Two users of the Ope Ope no Mi... how wonderful! Fuffuffuffu!"
"What's so funny, Doflamingo!" The younger Law glared.
"Law, considering you were once a member of the family... how about the two of you discuss it and pick one to perform the Perpetual Youth Surgery on me? If you do, I'll let the past be forgotten! The survivor can still be my 'Heart' seat and rule the world with me!" Doflamingo spoke arrogantly, acting as if he already had them cornered.
In his eyes, Law was just a brat. Even if there were two of them, they weren't a threat. But he didn't realize that the Law he looked down upon now possessed strength nearly equal to his own, and a specialized "Special Attack" to take him down.
The younger Law was fuming, his eyes red with rage. In contrast, the older Law remained steady. He looked at Doflamingo as if he were a clown on a stage.
"Doflamingo, today, I will make sure you lose everything and your reputation is dragged through the mud," the older Law said calmly.
"Fuffuffuffu... try it if you can!"
"Then I won't be polite." The older Law turned to Sengoku. "Fleet Admiral, about the Corazon you mentioned... do you know who brutally murdered him eleven years ago?"
Sengoku's face darkened. All signs pointed to Doflamingo, but since he became a Shichibukai, they couldn't touch him without concrete evidence.
"It seems you know. Corazon was murdered by Doflamingo. You did nothing while your own subordinate was killed—how cold-blooded of a Fleet Admiral. What's even more pathetic is that Corazon was practicing 'Justice' until the end. He left a report stating that Doflamingo was about to steal the Kingdom of Dressrosa!"
"But there was a mole in the Marines. The report was handed to Doflamingo's subordinate, Vergo. As a result, eight years ago, Dressrosa was stolen by pirates and turned into a living hell!"
Law's voice rang out, exposing the truth of the Minion Island incident and the tragedy of Dressrosa. The Marine elites were stunned.
"Vice Admiral Vergo!" "Demon Bamboo Vergo is... Doflamingo's man?!"
Panic spread among the ranks. Vergo, exposed, stood like a statue, waiting for Doflamingo's orders. Doflamingo himself was rattled. He never expected Law to know about Dressrosa too.
"Trafalgar Law, can you tell me more about the Dressrosa incident?" Great Staff Officer Tsuru stepped forward. She had been chasing Doflamingo for decades.
"Certainly, Great Staff Officer. I will tell you everything about the darkness of Dressrosa!"
"ENOUGH!!!" Doflamingo roared.
"Are you finally afraid, Doflamingo?" Law sneered.
Doflamingo tried to divert the attention to the war, but Sengoku and Tsuru remained silent. He turned to Whitebeard. "Whitebeard! Aren't you here to save Fire Fist? Order the attack already!"
He was desperate to get out of the spotlight. If the truth about Dressrosa came out, his Shichibukai title was gone, and his eight-year empire would crumble.
"Hmph, it's too late to be scared. I've already sent the evidence of your crimes to every major newspaper! The whole world will know soon!" the older Law laughed triumphantly.
"Law! You bastard! I'll never forgive you!" Doflamingo's face was so dark it looked like it was dripping ink. He let out a low growl like a wounded beast.
"That's our line! We'll never forgive you! Today, we avenge Corazon!" Both Laws shouted in unison.
"Try it then! Ito Ito no Mi: Awakening!"
Vergo stepped forward to stand by Doflamingo. "Doflamingo! Vergo!" vs "Law! Law!"
BOOM!
The battle erupted. While the Laws fought Doflamingo and Vergo, and the Whitebeard Commanders clashed with the Vice Admirals, a 50th ship quietly approached the bay.
The terrifying dinosaur-headed ship radiated a fierce aura. The Kid Pirates had finally arrived.
Eustass Kid (from 2 years later) had been hesitating, wondering how to make an entrance that would outshine Straw Hat Luffy. Now, he had a plan.
"Hahaha! Men, get ready for the world to watch us! The future belongs to the Kid Pirates!"
Jiki Jiki no Mi (Magnet-Magnet Fruit) activated!
All the weapons on the battlefield began to float, vibrating under magnetic force, and swarmed toward Kid.
"What's happening?!" "My sword... I can't hold onto it!"
As the mountains of steel gathered, a colossal figure, nearly the size of Little Oars Jr., rose from the bay. This was Kid's "Haki" entrance!
The Magnetic Giant Golem! (Punk Rotten!)
