*Two Days after the liberation of Fade City*
The morning light crept inside the wooden inn through the window. It dazzled right in the eyes of Eiser. The chirping birds, the laughter of children and a silent gossip near him forced him to stretch out and open his eyes. He looked to his right side and saw Wandera pouring a glass of water from the jug. The sound of the silent gossip kept on coming from his left.
"Ohhh You are awake!!"
Lolopechika shouted as she noticed it and everyone rallied around him with huge smiles on their faces.
Eiser sat up on his bed, smiled back looking at Wandera, Lolopechika and Arkas.
"Where are all the others?"
He inquired.
Wandera chuckled as she replied,
"You've just woken up and all you can think about is your teammates. Huh?"
She sighed as she continued, "Not that i would expect any thing else, but you haven't eaten anything in nearly 5 days! So first you will eat something then check up on others!"
Eiser was rather shocked by hearing that,
"5? No it must be 3! I last ate the storaged food we had, before we arrived here!"
He said.
"Yes, and you were asleep for 2 whole days!! So that makes it five!"
Whhaat??
He thought to himself as he said a wored expression on his face.
Wandera then opened the door to the inn and asked one of her guards to bring some fruits and food from the kitchen.
"Don't worry! Aunty Chloria is with them in the hospital!" they'll be returning home soon!"
Lolopechika added, as to out Eiser's mind at ease.
Eiser let out a sigh of relief as soon as he heard it and the worry on his forehead vanished.

The Police station was all busy and the Policemen were working night after night in order to catch any Chained Dogs escapees and returning the enslaved children back to thier parents.
Straight through the main door was a wooden table. A labled was placed upside-down on it, which read "Reception", along with a connectional Walkie Talkie and saveral small ones. One receptionist sat on the available chair, who was writing down, with both of his hands; the addresses and names of the children's parents. Both his right and left sides were occupied by men who were talking through those Walkie Talkies throigh the parents or the relatives of those children. Papers and sheets were scattered throughout the reception table. There was a fan on the ceiling, above the reception table which was turned off as to not scatter the oaoers all over the place.
To the right of the reception was a room with a locked door. The label on that door read "The Captain's room". Although it was Captain Signet's room, he himself was not present there. As he was busy safely escorting the batch of children whose parents were identified.
A policeman collected the scattered papers, on which the names and addresses of the people were mentioned and took them to the left of reception to the "Investigation room".
Although it said room on the outside label, from the inside it was more like a hall with saveral desks for designated Police Officers. On each desk was a saperate table fan and a Walkie Talkie.
The Policeman who brought in the papers put a paper on each desk and went ahead to sit on his own desk. The Policemen saw those paoers and started to match these current requests with the old requests. This tactic was essential and was forced to use so that the children go back to their actual parents and not to someone else. A Seargent was also present in the investigation hall who verified all those documents.
The verfied documents were then taken by a Police officer outisde the Investigation room to a passageway that followed from the right of that room.
The passageway led to another open hall. That open hall led to many openings. One of its opening to downstairs towards the Jail, One led upwards and one to the waiting room where the children were held along with armed Policemen and a Seargent.
The Policeman carrying the verified documents entered the "Pictorial room" which was also one of the openings of that open hall.
Inside that room several Earth Attribute users were present. Their job was to craft precise statues of the children that were to leave according to the verified document. It was done to decieve any man who tried to take control of the van. While the Earth Users crafted precise statues the policeman went to the Waiting room, where the children were being held. The Policeman called out the names of the children and those children were taken out of the Waiting room towards back parking lot where the vans of the Police were. Although their were many vans at the station, only two were being used at a time. One in which the children whould be present and one in which their replica statues would be. The documents were then given to Captain Signet who was to go along with the children, inside the van.
Signet, one final time, asked the children names of their parents and matched it with the verfied document and them one by one seated them inside the van. Several Police officers also joined in the van along with Signet who sat infront beside the driver on the passenger seat.
After both the vans were carefully checked and loaded with children and statues, the vans took off from the Police Station and distributed children, with precise care all over the city.
These reports, were transferred alomg to other city's Police Stations aswell as to keep a record of it and also to get to know of similar requests for children whom were not the residents of this city or country.
All of these instructions were given to them by Einer who had already become famous for saving the city.
Many Slogans and banners were created by the rich civilians as to thanks Einer for ending their misery. The roads were filled with confetti and and portraits of Einer were being created on the walls, as the entire city regarded Einer as the saviour of the city.
Even after 2 whole days, the party wasn't over and people were still dancing and singing all over the city thanking Einer, who had already left town. Eiser captured all of this on his way to the hospital, along with Lolopechika and a furious Arkas, who argued with happiness of people.
"Hmphh... These fools, I am never wasting my life on this lot again! Einer this! Einer that! My ass, all he did was come in the end and take all the credit!"
He argued.
Meanwhile, the real hero, Eiser, was silently adoring all that with his teary eyes.
"I think its quiet alright. Dont you think? At least the people of this city won't owe us anything like this!"
Eiser contradiced.
"Huh?? Are you crazy Blue eyes? Are you really okay with him taking all the credit?"
"Yeah, I am! I mean, i didn't save all these people so that they could owe me anything! I did that just becuase it was the right thing to do. And i couldn't care less of who they praise! At least like this I am not their centre of attention!"
"Hmph... You really are an Idiot!"
Arkas said as he looked away from Eiser with hint of shyness on his face.
"Now now, look! The hospital is in sight!".
Lolopechika said as she pointed towards the hospital.
The three of them entered the rough old hospital building, which was also in a chaotic situation. From taking care of all the children and the Gang members.
Through the reception, Arkas and Lolopechika went to the ward of Ana and Sandy while Eiser stayed behind for abit.
As both of the left. Eiser asked for the ward of the little blond girl, Mila.
Eiser was scared to face her after all that, as the guilt of his broken promise was all he could feel and think about. He slowly walked to her ward. His heart was beating so fast, he started to sweat immensely. He peaked through the glass on the door. He saw her, Covered in bandages and wires and immediately tears started to come out of his eyes. His jaw couldn't hold itself and se stated to shiver.
He waited, controlled himself, sniifled all his emotions, toom a giant gulp and slowly opened the door. He looked here and there and got to tk ow that there was no nurse on duty in that room and Mila was the only one lying in that room.
He walked slowly, took a metal chair, opened it, placed it gently right beside her bed and sat down on it. Eiser looked at her frail body, covered in white bandages and drips.
"Hehh... H-hey... Mila!"
He started to cry. He held her hand firmly by both her hands.
"I-i-uh... Im so- I don't know, I am Sorry!!"
His jaw quivered and his voice broke down as he talked.
Suddenly a nurse came behind from the back.
"Are you visiting this girl, Sir?"
Eiser looked back, aghasted. His teary matched those of the nurse.
"I-i am.. Wha-what is her condition?"
He said.
"Ohh I am really sorry sir, but as you can see the girl is in a coma!"
The rug pulled from Eiser's feet as he heard that. He went in a state of complete shock. Sweat ingulfed his body the noise around him started to reverberate as he took deep breaths.
"Sir are you alright? You look Pale! I know this is shocking but you should be glad that she survived! Her condition was dire!"
The voice of the nurse reverberated in Eiser's head as he just staggered his feet out of that room.
He walked directly to the washroom and looked inside the mirror. He couldn't stand straight. The memories, harsh memories of his past, Chloria entrusting Arkas to him, The Promis he made to Steve, His broken promise to Mila — all these memories started to surround him and he went an extreme state of Panic. His vision got thick and blurry, as if he was surrounded by haze of the night they hunted the Chained Dogs. The relics of his past haunted him as he ached, breathing wildly and loudly, he fell down on the ground grabbing his head by both of his hands firmly as if squashing it. It almost seemed as if Eiser was being haunted by something on purpose. Then suddenly Arkas came out of nowhere and shook him wildly.
"EISER!!"
He shouted as Eiser finally returned to his senses.
He looked at Arkas, breathing heavily,
"What happened to you? You look so pale!"
He said, concerned.
Eiser took a gulp inside and started to sigh.
"I am fine! I am fine now!"
He whispered quietly as he couldn't speak.
"Ahhemm... Let's go!"
Eiser said as he got up and went ahead with Arkas.
