The defensive measures were divided into several parts.
The first and most important was the magic power collection device. Function 5: Data Management. This function connected to his Archive magic. Noah created a magic item from a lacrima, linked it to the power collection device, and buried it in the basement. Guild members could now operate the system through a reserved interface at the main guild counter. Permissions were set according to a member's duties. The receptionist and the Master could use it to contact other members in real-time. Member data, request details, and other information would be stored inside for the Master to review at any time.
Function 6: Surveillance. Based on his own Wide-Area Detection Magic, this could scan for high-magic individuals within a 100-kilometer radius of Fairy Tail, with precision increasing at closer ranges. It could also record magic signatures into the Archive to distinguish friend from foe and would sound an alarm if an unknown high-magic individual entered the detection range.
Originally, Noah had wanted to imitate the Magic Council and put a magic collection device in low-earth orbit. The guild even had the perfect spell for it: Fairy Glitter, which gathers and condenses the light of the sun, moon, and stars. In orbit, with no obstructions, the power of Fairy Glitter would be at its absolute maximum. If he could successfully place it there and turn it into a satellite cannon, remotely controlled from the ground, it would be a nightmare for any enemy.
