"Divorce!"
When those two words entered her ears, June Kane's body instantly went stiff. She raised her head, staring first at Simon Sterling in complete shock, then seeing the coldness and resolve in his eyes, she bit her teeth hard and after a moment, spoke with a trembling voice.
"Divorce?"
"You want to divorce me!"
"Yes!"
Just a faint word, without a trace of hesitation.
June staggered back a few steps, almost falling to the ground in panic.
She knew that Simon in front of her was not joking!
It was real!
He wanted to divorce her! He didn't want her anymore!
"Ah!"
June then screamed sharply, frantically smashing the things around her, not even sparing the pictures hanging on the wall.
In just a short while, the floor of the room was in chaos, while Simon stood there indifferently, unaffected by June's frenzy, not even scrambling to comfort her.
He was like a bystander, watching June scream and cause a commotion.
