Mrs. Kane's expression didn't stay tense for long. She managed her emotions well, quickly calming down and looking at Felicity Sterling, responding lightly with one word, "Oh."
"Felicity, go upstairs and rest for now."
"Aunt."
Felicity Sterling couldn't quite grasp what Mrs. Kane meant.
Her mother's things, how come Mrs. Kane didn't seem to care that much?

"You will help my mother, won't you?"
Felicity Sterling pressed on.
"Of course."
Mrs. Kane replied with a smile. She raised her hand to tidy Felicity Sterling's hair, "Look at you, your hair's all messy just after going out."
"Quick, go to your room to tidy up."
"I've never said I wouldn't help with your mother's affairs."
"Don't worry too much. Even if your grandmother doesn't take care of it, your mother and I have known each other for so many years, and considering we're college classmates, I'll definitely see it through."
