Pearl Chambers drawled in response as she heard the door of her private room open again. She watched Finn Chandler with a cold, sardonic smile and called to the approaching Mrs. Chambers, "Mom, come over here."
"Mr. Ford brought his girlfriend to dinner."
This remark made Julian Ford feel strange.
Finn Chandler followed Pearl Chambers' words and saw Mrs. Chambers arrive. Mrs. Chambers' smile faded the moment she saw her.

"Mr. Ford, this is my mom," Pearl Chambers introduced Mrs. Chambers to Julian Ford, "She's also Finn Chandler's mom."
