Finn Chandler got a call from the police station and didn't feel much of anything.
She was never afraid, and she definitely wasn't going to feel any kind of relief.
Serena Sullivan called and asked Finn.
"You're just going to let it go like this?"
"There's no evidence."
Finn said flatly, "Pearl Chambers is too sly, she refused to admit anything no matter what."
Even in the hospital room, even if she had rattled Pearl, Pearl still never directly admitted that she'd pushed Mrs. Chambers.
"You're going to wait until Mrs. Chambers wakes up and then talk?"
There was another witness, and that was Mrs. Chambers.
Listening to Serena's suggestion, Finn smiled faintly.
"No need to make it that troublesome."
"This matter is over." Finn sneered; she had no intention of letting Pearl off that easily.
"But Pearl's business isn't over."
Serena paused, knowing Finn still intended to go after Pearl.
"I don't want to let her go."
Finn added another line.
