...
Utterly bewildered.
Silence Suzuka: "It can be like this?"
Special Week: "How could it be like this?"
...
Seeing that Haru Urara had already stepped out of the room, sounding the horn for a charge, Silence Suzuka couldn't bear to fall too far behind.
"Spe-chan, I... I'm also a little scared of thunder..." Silence Suzuka grabbed her folded blanket.
In the darkness, Special Week could only see the outline of her getting up and hear her light footsteps.
"Suzuka, I... I want to go with you too." Special Week immediately stood up, haphazardly picking up her own blanket.
"Mmm." Silence Suzuka felt that tonight's plan had already fallen apart. She couldn't possibly hide under the covers and scare everyone away, could she?
"What about Rice-chan?" Silence Suzuka whispered.
"Rice-chan, well, she's already asleep, so she's not scared. We just shouldn't wake her up."
Special Week needed an excuse to make herself less embarrassed. However, always following behind others made her feel too passive.
After the two of them finished discussing, they quickly followed in Haru Urara's footsteps.
...
Meanwhile, not long after Haru Urara stepped outside, as she passed by the neighboring dorm room, the door suddenly opened as well.
Seiun Sky, seeing the dark figure in front of her, was startled at first and took a step back. "You... Urara?"
Haru Urara merely glanced at her, then quickened her pace and hurried away.
Just as Seiun Sky was frozen in confusion, two more dark figures passed by her.
"You guys..."
...
Haru Urara was the first to reach Lucian's door.
She opened the door and entered directly, not bothering to turn on the light. Relying on the faint glow, she lay down beside Lucian and snuggled into his arms.
Lucian had originally been lying on his side, with both hands resting on the side he was facing.
But soon, Haru Urara used one of his arms as her pillow while draping the other over herself.
With this movement, it was impossible for Lucian not to wake up.
"Who is it..." Lucian wasn't startled—in fact, he was somewhat used to it.
Instinctively, he pulled the delicate figure in front of him closer, recognizing who it was just by her scent.
"Urara?"
"Trainer, cuddle~" Haru Urara let out a soft, sweet whimper, like a little lamb calling out.
"Why did you suddenly come over? And you brought your own blanket?" Lucian, having just woken up, was still a bit out of it.
"It's thundering, Urara is scared. And it's been so long since I last slept with Trainer."
Just as Lucian was about to say something, the sound of the door opening rang out again.
Followed by a series of hurried footsteps.
Everyone tacitly avoided turning on the lights—as long as no one could see each other, it wouldn't be awkward.
Before Lucian could even ask, Seiun Sky had already settled in beside him.
Silence Suzuka had no choice but to lay her bedding above Lucian's head, while Special Week chose to stay close to Silence Suzuka.
As if by prior agreement, none of the horse girls spoke.
Finally, another door-opening sound was heard. Dextrous Bailey, arriving late, blinked in surprise at the numerous silhouettes in the darkness.
So she wasn't the only one with this idea...
With all the spots already taken, Dextrous Bailey had no choice but to lay her bedding next to Lucian's legs.
Holding the trainer's thigh to sleep didn't seem so bad either.
...
With this, Lucian was now completely unable to sleep.
Seeing that no one was speaking, he timidly spoke up, "Good evening? Why did you all suddenly come over?"
"Urara already said it—she's scared of thunder, so she wanted to sleep in Trainer's room." Haru Urara rolled over to face Lucian.
Now wrapped in the trainer's embrace.
She thought to herself that since it was so dark, even if she did something to Lucian, as long as her movements were small, no one else would notice, right?
"Trainer, I'm also scared of thunder, so I came over," Special Week's voice came from above.
This was the first time she had slept so close to Lucian.
She wondered how Haru Urara and Seiun Sky, who were closest to Lucian, were feeling...
Wait, shouldn't she feel bothered by this? Maybe the trainer was just special.
In the darkness, Dextrous Bailey had already latched onto Lucian's thigh. "Trainer, I'm also scared of thunder."
Seiun Sky's hand had already slipped under Lucian's shirt, climbing over the slope of his waist to stroke his stomach.
This back-facing position didn't seem as embarrassing after all...
"Then I guess I'm scared of thunder too," Silence Suzuka said, somewhat frustrated. How had so many people suddenly shown up?
With both sides already occupied, what else could she do? Lie on top of Lucian?
"Suzuka, that excuse is pretty casual, huh."
Lucian felt as if he were trapped in a wall covered in thorns. These thorns didn't hurt, but they tickled and made his body itch.
And it seemed like he could only put up a token resistance.
"Lucian-kun, I was actually worried that you'd be scared alone, so I came over."
"Then I should thank you."
"You're welcome, Lucian-kun."
In Lucian's arms, Haru Urara had already begun secretly kissing his neck. Her warm breath brushed against his skin, tickling him even more and making his speech somewhat unsteady.
"You guys... came over, but... what about Teio and Rice-chan? Won't they... be scared alone in the room?"
"Trainer, when I came over, Rice-chan was already asleep," Special Week explained.
Seiun Sky: "Trainer, Teio was also already asleep."
"You guys... didn't wake them up... when you came over?"
Lucian struggled to endure the tickling sensation and grabbed Haru Urara's hand as she tugged at his waistband.
She was getting bolder!
Haru Urara pouted but had no choice but to settle for stroking Lucian's stomach instead.
But this time, her hand bumped right into Seiun Sky's.
Seiun Sky, unaware of the progress between Lucian and Haru Urara, was naturally startled at first. A chill ran through her body, and she instantly stopped rubbing.
Haru Urara, however, remained perfectly calm. Since Lucian had grabbed her wrist just now, whose hand was this on his stomach now?
Obviously, it was Seiun Sky's!
The trainer's favorite was her—she wouldn't give him up to Seiun.
In a fit of anger, Haru Urara outright removed Seiun Sky's hand and placed her own there instead, declaring her sovereignty.
Seiun Sky was completely dumbfounded, but upon realizing it was the bold Haru Urara, she suddenly thought... well, that made sense?
If Haru Urara could touch him, why couldn't she? If Haru Urara called her out, she could just use the same excuse.
With that in mind, Seiun Sky reached her hand back out, competing with Haru Urara.
...
The struggle beneath the covers remained unknown to others.
Only Special Week continued earnestly answering Lucian's questions. "Probably not. When we left, Rice-chan didn't seem to wake up."
But was it really as Special Week said?
