Chapter 348 - Chapter 348: Whispers of Night and Sea Breeze

...

A few days later, in the early morning, Lucian took the horse girls back to the familiar place.

The sound of waves crashing layered in their ears. Though it was still scorching hot, once they arrived at the destination, everyone could catch faint traces of coolness in the air.

"Ah~ The sea!" Matikane Tannhauser spread her arms wide in exclamation.

Nice Nature: "Tannhauser, this isn't the sea. That's probably just the waves from the pool inside."

"Nice Nature, what do you know? The sea exists in Tannhauser's heart." Twin Turbo mimicked Matikane Tannhauser, spreading her arms dramatically.

Nice Nature was actually surprised—she hadn't expected such profound words to come from Twin Turbo's mouth.

"Everyone, grab your luggage—don't leave anything in the car." Lucian reminded them.

There were changing rooms inside the water park, so right now everyone was still in casual clothes. The secrets of their swimsuits remained hidden inside their backpacks.

Lucian led the team members through the ticket gate, then followed the signs toward the changing rooms.

The men's and women's changing areas were in opposite directions, so Lucian parted ways with the horse girls midway.

"Suzuka, are you sure your body is okay now?" Before leaving, Lucian didn't forget to check.

Silence Suzuka nodded. "Mm, it's already much better. Don't worry, Lucian-kun—I won't push myself."

The layered sound of waves grew even clearer in everyone's ears, as if urging them to hurry and change.

"That's good." Lucian turned to the other horse girls. "Everyone go change first, then meet back here in a bit."

...

Lucian had only brought one pair of swim trunks and had already put them on underneath, so once inside the changing room he simply stripped off his outer clothes and walked right out.

He didn't have to wait long, though—the horse girls changed quickly too.

Before long, he saw one after another of them approaching in cool or sexy swimsuits, chatting and laughing, their ponytails swaying behind them.

For a moment, Lucian's eyes were dazzled—he didn't know where to look next.

(Collecting swimsuit photos. Of the horse girls—not yours. I don't look at yours.)

But if he had to pick the one that left the deepest impression, it was Ines Fujin.

She wore a black-themed sexy swimsuit that exuded wild temptation while carrying a mature, elegant charm.

The pattern over her chest came alive whenever the breeze passed, like silent wind chimes swaying gently.

If this swimsuit had a name, Lucian wouldn't mind calling it "Whispers of Night and Sea Breeze."

That unspeakable "sister" felt like accumulated dew—growing fuller, but not yet ready to fall.

The horse girls noticed Lucian's flustered gaze and, as if by agreement, hit the pause button. Their eyes all focused on him.

None of them spoke, but the slight tilt of their heads carried the same question and curiosity.

At the same time, they were sizing up Lucian's physique.

"Onii... Onii-sama?"

"Ah? Looks great!" Lucian's passive skill triggered instantly.

"But..." Rice Shower's fingers twisted the lace hem of her skirt, the fabric wrinkling into a shy little cloud between her fingers.

She shrank inward, lowering her head bashfully. "I... I haven't even asked anything yet..."

"Ah, it's fine—I know what Rice-chan wants to ask." Lucian forced the words out, not daring to let his gaze linger too long on any particular horse girl. "Since everyone's changed, let's start enjoying the trip!"

...

The water park covered far more ground than the other three amusement spots, and there were more people too.

Many attractions here allowed groups to play together, so this time the "Dream" members didn't split up.

The first activity they chose was called "Cloud Expressway"—a two-person team game.

"Ooh! The name sounds super thrilling. My Queen, wanna play?" Tokai Teio pointed at the signboard.

When she wasn't overheating or getting motion-sick from milk, Mejiro McQueen was relatively calm—especially since she'd already fallen for Tokai Teio's tricks once before.

"It's basically just sitting in an inflatable boat and sliding down, right?" Mejiro McQueen had never tried it, but after visually analyzing it, she felt it was child's play compared to the ones at Happy Valley.

"Yeah, it definitely doesn't look scary at all. Wanna play?"

Mejiro McQueen turned her head away. "There are so many people here desu wa. Why does Teio have to pick me specifically... No."

"Come on! My Queen!"

"No."

"Come on!"

"No!"

Right now Mejiro McQueen wasn't afraid of the ride itself—she was afraid Tokai Teio would seize another chance to snap embarrassing photos of her losing composure.

She already had way too many shameful pictures in Tokai Teio's possession—and she'd even seen the dedicated album created just for them.

In a certain sense, Tokai Teio had become her most passionate fan.

...

Lucian also felt this ride would be much milder than the ones at Happy Valley, so he wanted to give it a try. "Anyone want to team up with me?"

He thought one call would get a hundred responses—but surprisingly, no one answered!

But he still had a backup plan...

"Since no one's volunteering, I'll just randomly pick a passerby to go with."

"Lucian-kun?"

"Trainer-san?"

"Onii-sama..."

"Torena-san..."

"Trainer?" ×N

...

This time there were responses—and they united perfectly against outsiders. Still, Silence Suzuka and the others' expressions didn't look too happy.

"Trainer, I haven't teamed up yet. I'll go with you." Ines Fujin volunteered.

"Sure. Then I'll team up with little Ai."

Seeing that, Silence Suzuka and the others' faces finally softened. No one wanted a random stranger suddenly joining their trip.

...

The slide was fast.

Group after group went down, and soon it was Lucian and Ines Fujin's turn.

The inflatable ride resembled two connected life rings—one in front, one behind.

Lucian sat in the back as instructed. His overly long legs became an awkward burden with nowhere to go.

He tried bending his knees then straightening them slightly—his calves nearly brushing Ines Fujin's waist, yet always maintaining a delicate distance.

Ines Fujin noticed Lucian's predicament. She turned halfway, a faint, intentional smile playing on her lips. "Otouto, it's fine if you touch~ Big sis doesn't mind."

Her gaze slid from Lucian's tense knees to his waist and abs, then quietly withdrew.

Lucian felt embarrassed for a split second. His eyes drifted to Ines Fujin's endlessly alluring back... Compared to his awkwardness, she seemed to have already begun embodying the mature "big sister" role today.
