Kevin Kaye watched as an anxious Lily Shaw rushed their young master into the villa. When he heard Jude's taunt, he immediately turned his head and retorted, "My young master ended up like this because of you!"
"I thought at the very least you'd say thank you," Jude responded, turning to look at Kevin with a complex expression and questioning coldly.
"You punched my young master three times, and it's generous enough not to settle scores with you. You still expect me to thank you?" Kevin cursed inwardly, amused by Jude's words.
"Would your young master's ruse have succeeded without me?" Jude unexpectedly scrutinized Kevin and said calmly, "Though, you're quite loyal."
"Jude, thank you for your help." Kevin said loudly, clenching his fists as he watched Jude's departing figure.
He was reluctant to say those words, but Jude wasn't wrong. Without his intervention, their young master's ploy wouldn't have succeeded.
