Jiang Xinli didn't want to deal with Xuan Ying's harassment. "Xuan Ying, let go of me."
"I won't." He retracted his snake tail, bracing his hands on the wall and trapping her between them. He then leaned in, his ice-blue vertical pupils staring her down.
"Jiang Xinli, look me in the eyes and answer me seriously."
Strands of ice-blue hair fell across the man's cold, handsome, and pale face.
A crisp, oceanic scent faintly surrounded her.
Still, Jiang Xinli felt irritated.
She raised an eyebrow and glared at him. "Is this... ever going to end?"
His voice dropped, turning cold. "You have so much patience for him, but for me, you're this impatient?"
Jiang Xinli was growing more and more speechless.
She gritted her teeth and suddenly drove her knee up toward his groin.
Xuan Ying's eyes widened in surprise, and he dodged instinctively. Seizing the opening, Jiang Xinli twisted nimbly out from between his arms.
