The unit stationed at the 605 Artillery Position was a makeshift artillery division formed by mixing four artillery regiments, temporarily designated as the 605 Division. Their task during the final operation on Chimera 17 was to carpet-bomb the restricted area with saturated firepower before the PFDA's advancement, clearing as many obstacles as possible on the PFDA's thrust path.
