Chapter 382 - Chapter 382: Neglected Artifacts

"In the year '19, archaeologists discovered 16 Mounted Drumming and Blowing Terracotta Warriors in the tomb of the Eastern Wu general Ding Feng from the Three Kingdoms Period. These figurines represent the military bands in the army at that time.

On these mounted figurines, experts found an apparatus resembling horse stirrups. Although it was just a single-sided stirrup, it provided evidence that stirrups had already appeared by this time.

It is generally believed that this stirrup is the earliest archaeological evidence of stirrups found in our country. But soon after the related articles were published, it was unexpectedly discovered that archaeologists in Luoyang had already found tangible stirrups from the Eastern Han period as early as 1995 and had published related archaeological briefings and pictures."
