To be fair, Japanese people do manage public transportation quite well.

Whether it's queuing or crossing the street, they're very disciplined.

But you have to exclude the people of Osaka from this.

In Osaka, people never care about traffic lights. They cross the street after gathering ten people, daring cars to hit them, fearless of anything.

Besides that, women throw cigarette butts everywhere, and men spit on the streets, which are basic operations for Osaka people.

When Japanese elsewhere practice regional discrimination, they directly insult Osaka people by calling them South Koreans, because they're so rude.

To be fair, Osaka's climate is indeed different from other parts of Japan, being subtropical monsoon.

Plus, Osaka traditionally values commerce and doesn't like conforming to rules like other Japanese.

This results in Osaka people being out of place among the Japanese.
