It seemed like there was no intention to explain further, as if waiting for something.
Morris furrowed his brows.
The other side's stance was unexpected to him, even a fool could see these people were confident and fearless.
This oppressive atmosphere lasted for half a minute, just as Morris was about to speak again and question them, a slight, rapid "buzz buzz" vibrating sound came from his suit pocket.
Morris's expression changed slightly. He glanced at Carlson, who remained composed, and an ominous feeling rose in his heart.
He took out his phone, looked at the caller ID, his eyes sharpened, then turned around, back to the crowd and quickly answered the call.
"Yes."
"I understand."
With these two brief sentences, Morris hung up the phone, turned around, and though it was unclear what was said on the other end, his expression was decidedly unfavorable.
He looked at Carlson with a complex expression and said in a deep voice, "You may take your people and leave."
"Chief?!"
