The Martial God Temple is located in the east of the city, originally a salt flats area, now it is the most prosperous area of the Southern Chu capital.
The doors of the Martial God Temple are usually tightly shut, only opening once every ten years.
Today is the day the temple doors open. The Imperial Guards of Southern Chu have blocked off the surrounding area, so that idle people are not allowed to approach, to avoid disturbing the distinguished guests.
To go to the Martial God Temple, either one's martial skill level must be above Third Grade, or one must belong to an aristocratic family or sect.
Although Southern Chu implements a national policy of martial arts training for all, there is still room for sects and noble families, following an elite path.
Chen Ming and Su Zhining, accompanied by officials from Southern Chu, smoothly passed through the blockade of the Imperial Guards and arrived at the square outside the Martial God Temple.
