Chapter 166 - Chapter 166: Feeding

[For clarification, There is no yuri.]

Within the Clan Lands

Uzumaki Mito lay on the reclining chair made by Uchiha Ryun, reading the Cloud Village's condemnation of Konoha in the newspapers. She couldn't help but sneer.

"The descendants of the First Raikage, A, are getting worse with each generation. Back in the day, they would fight at the drop of a hat, attacking anyone they disliked. Now, they resort to such underhanded methods to mess with people's minds."

Uzumaki Mito tossed the newspaper aside. Just then, she sensed Tsunade entering with an unfamiliar girl. The girl had a blue chakra within her, somewhat similar to the Nine-Tails.

The sleeping Nine-Tails suddenly lifted its head. "Mito, it's the Two-Tails! The Two-Tails is here!" It recognized that chakra all too well!

Remembering the contents of the newspaper, Uzumaki Mito smiled. Tsunade had grown up and learned how to recruit talent for Konoha.

She waved her hand, signaling a servant to prepare tea and bring it over. Then, she slowly stood up and sat on a stone stool nearby, waiting for the two to arrive.

Soon, Tsunade entered, holding Yugito's hand. She glanced around as if searching for something before her eyes lit up. "Grandma!"

Uzumaki Mito smiled warmly and gestured for her granddaughter and Yugito to approach.

Tsunade led Yugito toward her. "Grandma, this is my friend, Yugito. Like you, she's a jinchūriki!"

"Hello, Yugito." Uzumaki Mito smiled at the quiet girl.

"G-Grandma, hello!" Yugito bowed deeply. This grandmother was a legendary woman in the ninja world!

The wife of the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju, the leader of the Uzumaki Clan, the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails, and the foremost master of sealing techniques.

Matatabi's voice echoed. "Oh ho, isn't this the Nine-Tails? Haven't seen you in a while—still so weak?"

The tailed beasts had their own way of communicating privately.

"Hah, isn't this the little Two-Tails who loved hunting mice?"

They immediately started mocking each other, but as they bickered, they began sharing their experiences over the years.

"Kurama, I really envy you. All you do is lie around all day," Matatabi sighed.

"Envy? What's there to envy? You want this treatment? Try being locked down by the Adamantine Sealing Chains Plus—can't even move!" Kurama retorted angrily.

Matatabi scratched its head. The two beasts fell silent, listening to their hosts converse.

"Child, no need to be nervous. I'm just an ordinary old lady, nothing special," Mito said gently.

The Nine-Tails rolled its eyes. 'Ordinary? Old lady? You haven't seen her when she's angry. The way she wields those Adamantine Sealing Chains could seal the heavens themselves!'

In its eyes, Mito was not someone to be trifled with. In some ways, she was even more cunning than Hashirama.

"Lady Mito, you flatter me. Your reputation is known across the Five Great Nations. With your sealing techniques, even the Raikage would be defeated if he dared challenge you." Though Yugito had never met Uzumaki Mito before, it was common knowledge.

Other villages often dealt with jinchūriki rampages, causing great losses. But Konoha? It remained as steady as a rock. Why? Because the Nine-Tails' jinchūriki was Uzumaki Mito, the most talented sealing master of the Uzumaki Clan!

The Nine-Tails had no choice but to submit!

"Child, you're a jinchūriki too, right? Since it's your first visit, I didn't prepare a gift. How about this—I'll reinforce your seal. That way, you can use as much of the tailed beast's chakra as you want, and the little one won't be able to resist." Uzumaki Mito smiled.

Then, the Nine-Tails' voice rang out. "Hahaha! You're going to suffer the same fate as me! Hahaha! Let me tell you, this old woman's sealing techniques are impossible to break!"

Matatabi shuddered. It wanted to beg Yugito to plead for mercy, but before it could speak, a golden chain of Adamantine Sealing shot into Yugito's body.

"I've taught you how to use the Adamantine Sealing Chains. Whether you use them or not is up to you, but at least you won't be at a disadvantage!" Uzumaki Mito had heard that Yugito and Matatabi were in sync, making her a perfect jinchūriki.

She had done this to give Yugito an extra layer of security. Understanding Mito's intentions, Yugito quickly thanked her.

"Matatabi, you better behave from now on!" Yugito teased. She didn't plan to use the chains, as she trusted Matatabi.

Matatabi snorted. It knew Yugito's personality, so after the initial panic, it calmed down.

It wasn't like a certain fox, scheming and unpredictable!

Kurama's veins bulged. "Hey, Mito, what's the big idea?!"

But before it could finish, the Adamantine Sealing Chains lifted it into the air. Kurama wanted to cry. Mito's voice cut in. "What? You have a problem?"

"N-No, it's fine. Everything's fine." Kurama backed down. Mito snorted and released the chains. Kurama sat with its chin propped on its hand, fuming. (Think Tom from Tom and Jerry.)

After Yugito and Uzumaki Mito talked for a long time, they realized it was already dark. Everyone prepared to have dinner in the Senju Clan's compound.

Just then, Uchiha Ryun appeared. "Hope I'm not too late."

Uzumaki Mito smiled and motioned for him to sit beside Tsunade on her right, since Yugito was already on her left.

Tsunade rolled her eyes. "Our Vice-Hokage is always so busy, yet somehow never misses a meal!"

She wasn't criticizing him—this was just their usual playful banter.

"Heh, I'm home, dear." Ryun reached out to hug her.

Tsunade pushed him away, glaring. "Behave! We have company!"

Ryun knew, of course, but he still held Tsunade's right hand under the table, rubbing the back of her smooth fingers.

Yugito bit her lip. 'I want that too!' So she grabbed Tsunade's left hand and copied Ryun's movements.

This startled both Tsunade and Ryun, but after exchanging a glance, they let her be.

After all, it was just two girls—nothing serious.

Tsunade twitched. With her left hand (Yugito) and right hand (Ryun) occupied, how was she supposed to eat? She sighed helplessly.

Uzumaki Mito finished eating quickly and smiled. "I'm done. You all continue."

She headed to her room, shaking her head with an amused smile. "Young people these days, so wild."

Meanwhile, Ryun frowned. Something felt off—was there some 'girls' love' energy here? No way, he couldn't let Tsunade be influenced!

So he picked up a piece of sushi and fed it to Tsunade. Her eyes lit up—she had been starving!

She parted her lips and took a bite, chewing slowly. Her hands trembled slightly in excitement. Yugito noticed and seemed to have an idea...

She picked up a piece of cod and brought it to Tsunade's lips. Tsunade's eyes sparkled—this was her favorite!

She happily ate it.

Ryun shot Yugito a hostile glare. Yugito ignored him and continued feeding Tsunade.

Ryun snorted, refusing to lose. The two took turns feeding Tsunade, never stopping.
