Breakfast went by in a flash after that.

Everyone munched on their remaining meals with newfound purpose, the mood of the group collectively lifting.

After breakfast, everyone went to their respective quarters to prepare for the journey ahead.

Kion, on the other hand, remained on his chair, his mind racing over the many things he should do with such little time.

He was still yet to learn a lightning skill.

This time, the talent scroll was not the problem. He had practiced the techniques over and over. He had executed each one perfectly, but somehow, his body seemed to reject us every attempt at assimilating lightning energy with his innate mana.

It was simply exhausting.
