**Chapter 341: Humans and Pokemon — The First Meeting, Hearts Full of Surprise!**
---
A scene he'd seen countless times before now felt entirely different upon another look.
Just as Wang Feng was about to stop dividing his attention and focus on driving, his peripheral vision caught something strange. His body jerked — the electric scooter nearly drifted on the spot.
But even so, it didn't break his current state of mind.
Astonishment. Disbelief. Panic. And excitement that refused to be hidden!
"There's no doubt about it. Absolutely none."
"That fluffy brown fur covering its whole body, the cream-colored fur beneath its neck, those lively big eyes…"
"Eevee! That has to be an Eevee!"
Cute Pokémon always drew more people than powerful ones did, and Eevee was a Pokémon that combined enormous potential with an outstanding appearance.
Be it its adorable look or its nine evolutionary forms, countless people had fallen in love with this Pokémon.
Wang Feng was no exception!
But compared to Eevee, the yellow Electric Rodent happily clutching a wallet at his feet, glancing left and right, commanded even more of his attention.
Long ears. Sleek yellow fur. The tips of its ears were deep black. Most eye-catching of all was its tail — jagged like a bolt of lightning.
If Eevee was a Pokémon that no self-respecting Pokémon fan could overlook, then this one was the original dream of every single Pokémon fan.
After all — this was Pikachu!
The partner that had traveled alongside the protagonist of the Pokémon anime, Ash, from the very beginning. The first and most important Pokémon in his journey of growth.
It was also the very first Pokémon every anime fan had ever gotten to know!
Wang Feng felt like he was losing his mind!
Just moments ago he'd been wondering when he'd ever get to see a Pokémon in real life — or when he'd even hear someone online say they'd seen one in person.
And now, just like that, the dream had come true!
He couldn't contain the surge in his chest. His hands had long since let go of the scooter's handles. He just stood there in a daze, staring at them, unwilling to look away for even a second.
Wait — Wang Feng noticed a pair of pristine white tentacles each gripping one of Pikachu's and Eevee's long ears.
"Pikaaaa~"
"Eevui~"
Pikachu and Eevee's faces twisted in pain.
Wang Feng's expression darkened!
Who!
Who dared hurt Pikachu and Eevee!
Did they think the great Church of Pokémon had no members to defend it?!
Wang Feng's gaze sharpened as he followed the tentacles to the person responsible.
And then… Wang Feng froze.
Beyond the white tentacles was a head half-concealed by green hair, with what appeared to be two horns — one large, one small — stuck into the hair, the large one pointing forward and the smaller one pointing back.
"Kirlia…"
Wang Feng murmured the Pokémon's name.
If people's affection for Pikachu and Eevee still carried even a hint of how one might feel toward a pet, then Kirlia inspired absolutely nothing of the sort.
Especially once Kirlia evolved into Gardevoir.
That queenly air it carried — it had drawn in countless Pokémon fans without discrimination.
Not just male fans, either. Female fans were just as many.
seeming to sense Wang Feng's gaze, Kirlia turned in his direction. Rather shy, it lowered its head — and the hands gripping Pikachu's and Eevee's ears loosened.
"Pika pika."
"Eevui~"
After Kirlia released them, Pikachu and Eevee rubbed their ears. Then they turned to Wang Feng, waving at him as if to say thank you.
"Are they thanking me?"
Wang Feng said uncertainly. This was a scene unlike anything he'd ever experienced. Twenty-plus years of life had given him no framework to react quickly in a moment like this.
He simply extended his hand instinctively and waved back.
Once the moment passed, Wang Feng's heart sank on the inside.
"What the hell am I doing?!"
Pikachu and Eevee probably thought he was some weird human. Or an idiot, maybe?
Wang Feng would never get an answer to that. Because by now, the fate-determined napes of Pikachu and Eevee had been pinched by another pair of round hands.
"Don't run off, you two!"
"Fortunately, Baixuan had komainu come out with us before we left."
As Doraemon spoke, it set Eevee on top of its head — the deal had been that Eevee would assist it later, after all. Can't give Eevee an excuse to back out of the agreement.
Then it placed Pikachu onto Komainu's body.
"Don't run again, understand?"
"Otherwise I'll tell Baixuan, and he'll never let you two outside again."
"Pika pika!"
"Eevui!"
No sooner had Doraemon finished speaking than Eevee and Pikachu voiced their displeasure.
"What, you're saying I'm being mean?"
"How detestable!"
"obviously you all were running around, blame me for it too!"
"It's clearly your fault for running off in the first place!"
"Baixuan wouldn't listen to your nonsense anyway!"
Doraemon planted its hands on its hips, puffed out its cheeks, and spoke in an irritated voice.
"I don't care anymore. Go wherever you want. Let's see how Baixuan punishes you when that happens."
"Pika pika, pikachu—"
"Eevui~"
When Eevee and Pikachu saw that Doraemon was genuinely upset, they immediately started acting cute to appease it.
The punishment from last time was still fresh in their memory.
Tomato — sweet and sour, delicious tomato — was something Pikachu couldn't go a single day without. But last time,a full three whole days, it hadn't been able to have any.
Because that was the punishment for running off.
Eevee had been the same. Its fresh milk had been cut off for three days.
They absolutely could not let that happen again.
Pikachu and Eevee nuzzled against Doraemon's head and face. Doraemon's initially angry expression quickly softened, and then it couldn't help but burst out laughing.
"Stop it, that tickles! Enough with the cuddles already."
"Okay, okay. I won't bring it up again."
Only then did Pikachu and Eevee stop.
Doraemon shook its head and said with a sigh:
"Seriously though — no more running off, got it?"
"Pika pika."
"Eevui~"
Eevee and Pikachu nodded cutely, then stole a glance at each other. A gleam of triumph flickered in their eyes.
Doraemon was just too softhearted!
As Doraemon continued its lecture, Pikachu's and Eevee's figures faded from Wang Feng's line of sight.
"They're gone…"
Only then did Wang Feng emerge from the whirlwind of emotions that seeing Pokémon had stirred up in him.
It was a pity he hadn't taken any photos or videos — nothing to record this stroke of fortune. But just being able to see Pikachu, see Eevee, see Kirlia, see Komainu… for a Pokémon fan like him, that was already more than enough.
If there's a first time, will a second be far behind?
What mattered most was that Pokémon had finally descended into the real world!
That was the most important thing for anyone who had ever dreamed of Pokémon.
