After the long battle nearly all day, Sonny can tell Killian is getting tired, and he feels annoyed at having his Qi taken away; now all he can do is watch them battle fiercely.
Sonny was relieved to know Killian wasn't, but the other man was getting sloppier and angrier as he realized he couldn't hit Killian.
Killian fought with everything he had, using the sword to protect himself, and kept his eyes on Sonny to make sure he wouldn't play any tricks.
He hated seeing the nonchalant look on Sonny's face as if he doesn't care if he dies or not. Because of that, he didn't pay attention to the man who pulled out his sword and was able to stab his lower ribs, and he groaned in pain, and spit out blood, and wiped his lips.
He kept an icy facade on his face but was brooding underneath. Sonny was leaning against the wall, watching with a flat expression, and he decided to change that.
