Chapter 95 - A direct question.

Arya had spoken to Michelle after breakfast and asked if she was alright since Arya noticed that Michelle seemed nervous at breakfast.

Remembering what Alfa had told her about how Arya had rescued Vivien from a life of misery, just because she was a reject, and helping her through a tough time in her life, Michelle decided to tell her the truth.

"Honestly, Arya, I didn't know I'd step into this territory only to find my mate. Now I don't know if I should tell him or not... I'm sorry, I shouldn't..."

"It's okay, Michelle. You can tell me anything. I swear on my life, I'll never tell anyone unless you tell me to. And if it's really necessary, I'll take your permission first!" Arya said, holding her right hand up and placing her other hand on her chest, as if she was taking on oath in the white house.

This is what Michelle wanted. Now, when Arya returns back to Alfa, she won't spill the beans about her rejection. Not that it would matter any longer, but at least Alfa won't feel hurt.

"There's something that I don't know whether I should tell Rodriguez or not," she began. "Back when I was in college, I found my mate... but he rejected me. It's that I still don't believe that I found my second chance mate here. When my Alpha declared me a rogue, I felt broken, but now I think it's the best thing to ever happen, and I'm afraid of what Rodriguez will think when he hears about my previous rejection!"

Arya was quiet for some time. As expected, her mind drifted off to the Moonsglow pack and Vivien. She really was a great friend. Somewhere deep within, Arya missed the people back there.

And Alfa. He was her mate, even if it was just for a month or so. They would have made a lovely couple and even a lovely family if he wouldn't have decided that Bella wasn't good enough.

Everything she did somehow wasn't good enough. All she needed was a chance to prove herself and maybe make her own decision, but Alfa took that away from her.

He killed Patricia. He threw Rebecca in prison. Then he killed Bella. Without her consent. Oh, Rebecca! Arya hoped she was well and that she was free.

Michelle could see Arya was thinking. She hoped Arya was thinking about Alfa, but in a positive way.

"Arya, are you all right?" Michelle asked, pulling Arya back into the present.

"Yeah... I just remembered someone... anyway, about your past, it's totally up to you. If you feel comfortable telling him, then do so. But if you feel that it's wrong for him to know, and he might feel uncomfortable around you, then don't tell him.

"Thanks for your advice. I think I should wait and know him before deciding."

Michelle spent most of the day going around the pack and making friends. She even spoke with Alpha Rodriguez and found out how he became a rogue. She still didn't believe that he was born in his wolf form. His rogue form.

An even bigger surprise was that he was only eighteen. At this age, he was ruling a whole pack and never even lost a battle.

She did tell him some details about her life, such as being rescued as a pup and sent to the human world to study. She left out about the part where she knew Alfa Flowerew and had been a member of his pack.

They spoke for a long time, and as the sun began to set in the horizon, Rodriguez told her that they would be going for a run in their wolf form. It would not be like a hunt thing, just running under the full moon, absorbing the goddesses energy.

Michelle was excited to join, as it had been a long time since Chelle, her wolf, had been out.

As the moon shone bright, her mate, Rodriguez, the Alpha of the Rogue Pack, gathered everyone to the common grounds near the forest.

"You all know how we start the run," he began his speech. "Remember, it's not a hunt! It's just a night our wolves do what they like."

"But Alpha, our wolves love to hunt!" Came a voice from the background.

"Yes, Bryan, I know. But tonight, we will just run. Just let our wolves absorb the moons' energy and power," Rodriguez replied calmly. "Any more questions?"

"No, Alpha," came a unison reply.

"Good. Oh, and one more thing, if you spot our guest, Arya, in the woods, don't attack. Just let her do what she's doing."

One by one, they called on their wolf and dashed into the forest. They ran, jumped, and played with each other as they went.

Arya ran out of the cave, trying to follow the glowing crystal that zoomed past trees, making everything blurry. Who was he? What was his name? At least she was sure of one thing, her brother was a member of this pack. And he had a black wolf.

As she ran through the forest, in her long, black dress, many wolves crossed her, but none stopped. It was clear Rodriguez had told them not to bother her as he knew that she would be returning back to the pack house during this time.

A lot of emotions were passing through her all at once. Happiness, sadness, excitement, fear... there were so many that she felt overwhelmed. Her eyes were watering, and her feet had started to hurt, but the glowing seemed to get further away from her every second.

She wanted to call out, but who would she call out to? She didn't even know his name! She can not just call out, "Hey, the one with the glowing birthmark!"

He was running with another black wolf, most probably his mate, by the way they were running so close to each other. And since this was her first full moon in this pack, she didn't know about how many of them had a black wolf.

It would perhaps be wise to return to the house and wait for them to return, and she can directly ask Alpha Rodriguez about the black wolf with a glowing birthmark.

As Arya returned back, she remembered something; Alpha Rodriguez himself had a jet black wolf! Could he be him? Her brother?

She had to make sure. Arya had reached the house and sat outside on one of the benches. She was exhausted and could barely move any further, so she decided to confront Alpha Rodriguez when he returned.

Voices drifted to Arya's ears, waking her up. She hadn't even realized she had dozed off. The wolves were returning from their run and were laughing and chatting away.

"Arya? What are you doing outside?" Rodriguez asked her, surprise filling his voice. Standing beside him was Michelle, looking just as surprised.

"Rodriguez, I need to know, do you have a crystal shaped birthmark at the back of your neck that glows under the full moon?"
