At around four in the afternoon, Michelle began getting restless. Her mate and Arya hadn't returned yet. She tried to mindlink Rodriguez but couldn't reach him, which was quite ironic, considering the fact that any rogue could connect with him via mindlink from any place in the world.
She was his mate yet couldn't get a hold of him. Next, she tried Arya through the pendant, but no reply came. By now, Michelle was getting jittery.
She walked back and forth, trying to think of something else... fashion, food, cleanliness, shoes, bags... nothing worked. Her mind still went back to Rodriguez, her mate, the alpha of this pack.
How is Natalie?
Did they save her?
Is Rodriguez alright?
Is Arya okay?
All these questions ran through her mind, just as the time ticked away. Minutes became hours, and soon, the sun had begun to sink in the horizon. She must get ready and leave with whatever information she had at hand, or she would miss it, and Arya will be disappointed.
