Chapter 109 - Chapter 109: Flandre’s Reputation Has Never Been Good!

Holding the object in her palm, Remilia raised an eyebrow.

It was a neatly trimmed white paper doll, with no writing, but its spiritual energy surprised Remilia. Such spirit-based objects were rare in this world.

She wasn't unfamiliar with these in her previous world; Onmyoji relied on spirit and curses. Though unrelated to vampires, arriving in the East meant she had to acknowledge them.

Even if the world had few Onmyoji left, their descendants retained some power, enough for Remilia to notice.

In Gensokyo, both Reimu and Sanae used spirit manipulation as main combat.

"Rare to see a shikigami…"

Speaking of shikigami, Remilia remembered the fox of the Yakumo family.

Yakumo Ran… Once feared, but now different.

A mere nine-tailed fox. I, Lady Remilia could now pin you down and beat you.

Even your master wouldn't faze me.

The one who should be afraid was her…

After all, Remilia thought that if she fought Yukari, Gensokyo might be destroyed.

Following her instincts, Remilia's gaze fell on a shaded area.

Under a tree, a tall girl with a single ponytail and another short-haired girl came into view.

Is it them? Remilia watched as they panicked and tried to hide upon noticing her gaze. No killing intent or malice—only fear.

So, these girls approached knowing her identity?

Good. Time for some mischief. Perhaps she could vent some frustration.

Thinking this, Remilia walked slowly toward them.

Seeing her approach, the two froze.

It was hard to tell if it was just their imagination, but the crowds around them were gradually disappearing.

This was the barrier Ren had taught Remilia to use for combat—a convenient way to disperse idle bystanders. It had to be said, it was very effective. The only annoying part… was that even when the bystanders were dispersed, anything that needed to be destroyed would still get destroyed.

This was also why Remilia tended to cause more damage every night rather than simply increasing casualties.

"This… is a… barrier!"

In an instant, the two girls sensed the abnormality around them, panic flickering across their faces.

Before they could react further, Remilia appeared right in front of them, holding something in her hand. An intense sense of pressure radiated from her.

"This… is your doing, isn't it? Are you trying to spy on me?"

Especially when she said the last line, the oppressive aura from Remilia made the surrounding air seem to freeze.

The two girls immediately turned pale. Even so, the short-haired girl summoned her courage and spoke.

"Please forgive our offense. This is our first meeting, Fourth Primogenitor. We are Himeragi Yukina, the Sword Shaman, and Sayaka Kirasaka, the Shamanic War Dancer, representing the Lion King Organization to establish a friendly relationship with you!"

"Friendly relationship? Are you sure this isn't just some surveillance scheme—like someone being too dangerous, so you have to monitor their actions and immediately eliminate any perceived threats…?"

Remilia's eyes narrowed slightly as her gaze fell on what they carried on their backs.

If her senses were correct, they were carrying weapons, one of which radiated a familiar aura. It must be the Holy Spear used to awaken Avrora. Only three of those existed in the world; it wasn't unusual for the Lion King Organization to possess one.

For a young girl to come holding that while spying on her, the implication was obvious.

Remilia's expression gradually turned dangerous.

"It's not like that, Fourth Primogenitor. This meeting was permitted only with the consent of Mr. Ren accompanying you. We truly are only here to establish friendly relations."

Yukina's face was anxious, her speech unusually fast.

Remilia, however, paused for a moment, her previous intensity disappearing.

In an instant, both Yukina and Sayaka felt a sudden lightness in their bodies. Their pale faces gradually returned to normal as the atmosphere shifted.

"You had that man's permission? What is he up to… or rather…"

Remilia's expression shifted as if she was realizing something strange. Ophis, Avrora, Nagisa, Kanon… and now two more?

So the organization had sent these two girls with Ren's consent.

Understanding this, Remilia's expression softened slightly with a trace of sympathy. "Truly pitiful and sad…"

Judging by their age, they had probably been raised by the organization from childhood, sent forward like sacrificial offerings before even having a chance to live their own lives.

Remilia shook her head, no longer in the mood to scare these fledgling children.

At this moment, the two girls' faces were full of unease. Though they had paper knowledge of the Fourth Primogenitor's temperament, nothing compared to seeing her in person. Saying the wrong thing could be disastrous.

Remilia spoke softly, "Hey, do you two have any money on you?"

The girls blinked, not understanding at first.

"Yes, the Lion King Organization provides us with a monthly activity fund."

"I see. Then come with me! I've been tasked by a petty witch to go grocery shopping, and since you were sent to befriend me, today's expenses will be yours. Come tonight for dinner and meet everyone. My little sister enjoys making friends, so play some games with her properly."

Yukina and Sayaka instantly turned pale.

When the Lion King Organization collected information on them, they would have received dossiers on their subordinates. Flandre's public profile indicated extreme danger: outwardly innocent, but prone to equate games with lethal force, capable of obliterating things.

Seeing the sudden fear on the two girls' faces, Remilia tilted her head slightly.

What was going on? Why had they suddenly become so intimidated? She had completely forgotten how ferocious Flandre could be!

Incidentally, the beastman Flandre had ruined at the Blazing Banquet had already been admitted to a psychiatric hospital.
