The prince began tightening security around the palace and ordered the interrogation of all the servants in search of any thread that could lead to the truth.
It didn't take many hours before news reached him—someone had seen the suspicious maid sneaking near Dalerina's room the night of the incident.
The prince immediately went to interrogate her himself, and under heavy pressure, she broke down... and with her, all the lies collapsed. She confessed everything.
Without hesitation, Fairo confronted Nazar. The confrontation was intense—charged with anger and disappointment.
He said sharply:
"After all the memories we shared? She was your closest friend! She was raised with us like a sister... Why?"
Nazar replied, her voice dripping with scorn:
"She's just a stupid maid, always seeking attention. Even you... even you fell in love with her! If you see her as a sister... I don't. She'll always be a maid with no family, no lineage."
He looked at her with a look of contempt no one had ever seen from him before. Then he spoke, in a quiet but cutting voice:
"Why this hatred? You're not the Nazar I once knew. As much as I loved you... I can hate you a thousand times more for your actions."
Nazar lifted her eyes to him, her voice trembling with anger and bitterness:
"Do you love her that much? What does she have that I don't? And still... you loved her and left me! Even though everyone thought we were perfect together."
Fairo answered coldly, with lethal calm:
"Can't you see the difference? … She's far better than you. If she were in your place, she would've never done such things. I loved you like a sister. But now... I truly hate you."
Then he left her standing alone, wrapped in a silence heavy as hatred, and walked toward the door… where Dalerina was standing.
He was surprised to find her there, tears of heartbreak filling her face.
She said in a quiet voice:
"I never thought someone I called a sister… would do this to me."
He stepped closer and pulled her gently into his arms:
"I won't let you down… and I will never betray you. I promise."
Later, her innocence was proven before everyone—without revealing that Nazar had orchestrated the whole scheme. The maid was expelled from the palace.
Dalerina thanked the prince, and her gaze toward him had changed… filled with deep gratitude and a trust stronger than ever before.
His place in her heart rose—just as it did in the eyes of everyone around.
As for Nazar, she became shunned—by Dalerina and by Fairo. For the first time, she began to feel truly isolated.
Yet despite everything, her mother never stopped pouring fuel on the fire, pushing her deeper into hatred and vengeance.
Between shadow and light, Nazar now stands at a crossroads...
One path leads to ruin, and the other to whatever remains of her humanity.
Which will she choose?
Despite the fleeting laughter and Dalerina's constant attempts to understand Nazar, to decipher the storms behind her actions,
a silent void kept gnawing at her every night.
A cold routine, a creeping boredom slipping into her heart like smoke,
and a deep sense of frustration that filled every day spent away from Elinor.
The questions began to whisper in her mind...
Does she miss her?
Has anyone visited her? Has she eaten?
Is she as lonely as I am?
And then, quietly... the idea began to bloom.
"Maybe I should go. Just once. Just to see her face again."
Between longing and resolution... there remained only one decision left unmade
