Stolas was wide-eyed with thought, staring blankly down at the Hazbin and IMP gang and was becoming increasingly aware of Charlie's openly obvious attachment to her mate who stood next to him with the same look while she clung to his pants. With an extra day of recovering and calming down he decided to lay out the situation to both gangs after using his dark powers to completely heal Angel Dust when his body could handle the magic.
Unfortunately Charlie seemed to be the last person to realize that Noctis would be here alone after the conversation was brought up during a routine breakfast. It was unfathomable just how possessive and loving the princess could be when she was having herself a moment almost similar to relapsing while Vaggie tried to pry off Stolas' leg.
It didn't help that in her tantrum Beezlebub snuck away with Noctis while nobody was looking.
"Please don't separate us!" She cried pathetically, using all her tactics to win the prince over.
"I'm sorry but—" Stolas grunted whilst struggling to shake the princess off his leg. "This is for his benefit and it's only two weeks."
Two weeks was too long for Charlie and Vaggie but they knew deep down that he was correct. Noctis needed all distractions to be away so he could learn and train but that was easier said than done with the princess being pried and pulled by Vaggie and the others.
She anchored to his leg, looking up with her signature puppy eyes look and quivering her lip while Husk worked on getting at least one arm free.
"Please~" she begged softly.
Stolas was still staring down at her but annoyed now with not a shred of compassion for the young lady that refused to release his leg while the others got ready to leave.
Carmilla, Odette, and Clara had they're stuffed stowed away in a van that was called in and the limo ready to take the Hazbin gang home. Blitz and his crew were already loaded up and ready to get out but a quiet argument had broken out between him and Loona about her staying behind to keep an eye on Noctis, both of which were whispering and throwing foul words at one another.
Ozzy was already gone, Lucifer remained distant and unwelcome, and still Beezlebub was nowhere to be found during all this.
Neither was Noctis.
"Please!" Charlie begged even harder. "I'll be good. I'll stay out of the way!"
"You should really compose yourself." Stolas suggested almost amusedly.
"Charlie it's only two weeks, and then he will come home." Vaggie added humorously.
Charlie snapped her gaze at Vaggie and blubbered her emotions, tears flowing like a river, voice hoarse and cracking from the lack of self-control. If ever there was a time to slap some sense into her it was now but no one had the courage to do so after she had radiated dangerous power towards Stella during Noctis' unconscious recovery.
"B-but Vaggie…." Charlie paused to inhale her emotions. "He—he won't be —be at home with u—us."
Angel Dust shook his head in disappointment and sighed. "This is just sad even to my standards."
"Quite." Alastor agreed before putting a hand on her shoulder. "Now, now, Charlotte. We have to give Noctis space to work on his power and—"
"I don't wanna!" Charlie wailed to the skies, making a few of her friends lean away when the waterworks flowed.
"Can someone remove her?" Stolas asked politely, ignoring the repetitive 'please' from the princess while holding a very unamused look. "She's ruining my pants."
"Alright!" Husk clapped his hands together and grabbed the left ankle. "Everybody grab her legs and pull!"
Vaggie wasn't so sure this was the way to go about prying Charlie off Stolas. She was reluctant of participating and pondered how to make this better while the rest of the gang pulled as hard they could on the sobbing demoness.
Even Alastor was struggling with the use of his tendrils after giving a few grunts and growls. He started to realize his knowledge about Charlie was lacking severely when they hadn't pried her off an inch.
"Seems to me she harbors more strength than she lets on." He growled in frustration and braced his feet in the dirt.
"How fucking strong is this bitch?" Cherri Bomb growled while yanking the coat.
"This is who will be our queen in the future?" Odette questioned with serious judgment while Clara loaded the last box.
Carmilla didn't even know how to respond to that but she certainly hated how her son was with someone so emotionally dependent. Part of her was amused by the reminiscence from her younger years, but the motherly side made her wonder what Noctis saw in someone like Charlie.
She grimaced at the next thought that came to mind and facepalmed while the tug of war worsened with the IMP gang now trying to help out.
"I told him to go with it."
"What is with this bitch!?" Blitz growled, tugging on her shoe until he flung himself back from it coming off.
"Come on, princess." Moxxie tugged on her other shoe and grit his teeth. "His majesty….. has to be…..trained."
"Fuck she's strong!" Millie had struggled even worse with her feeble attempt of prying her fingers off Stolas.
"This is clearly getting us nowhere." Stolas pointed out matter-of-factly, though the lack of amusement made it obvious as he sipped on his morning tea that caught a few tears. "And now my tea is ruined."
This was not getting anywhere with Charlie completely engrossed in her own despair. Stolas was still in place but chittering in annoyance with his pants completely soaked at this point.
Vaggie suddenly had an idea, a devious idea only she could think of that would get Charlie to let go and come home with the rest of the gang.
Slowly with such a mischievous smile the fallen angel gave a gentle squeeze of the princess on her shoulder.
"Oh Charlie." She purred softly. "Imagine how much better he will be."
"Be—better?" Charlie blubbered and turned long enough to look up to Vaggie with bloodshot eyes.
Vaggie now had her attention and nodded slowly with a soft hum of approval. "Imagine if he gets better and can focus on us more."
Charlie wasn't sure what she meant and wiped her nose of all the snot.
"Focus on us how?" She asked in a whimpering tone.
Vaggie didn't say a word and maintained her smile as she wiggled her eyebrows, giving full implication what she meant exactly. Now Charlie caught on and blushed at the idea of Noctis getting his powers in check and his mind set straight.
"Oh, you mean that.
"Yeah." Vaggie drawled teasingly. "But you have to let go and go back to the hotel."
There was a long pause of thought for the disheveled princess while everyone waited impatiently for her to pry herself off Stolas. She knew Noctis needed this but at the same time she did not want to be separated when the three of them just became mates. It was no mystery that Vaggie felt the same but this also meant they would finally have to deal with the fallen angel lie they had been avoiding this whole time.
Charlie wasn't ready for that, but she would do it for their relationship.
"I guess when you put it like that." She sighed in defeat and released herself from the goetia prince.
Stolas waisted no time when he stepped back and waved his hand to magically clean and dry himself.
"Finally. I thought I would be anchored in place." Stolas groaned in relief which made Charlie embarrassed at her own childish display after she stood up.
"Hey," Angel suddenly looked around with a curious eye. "Where's Noctis and Beezlebub?"
Charlie and Vaggie were immediately alarmed and unhappy at that realization.
————————————————————
Noctis was walking through royal gardens with a more understanding mind for the sin at his side. He couldn't believe their history together but listened with an open perspective of the memories she had in mind.
Beezlebub was his wife, and he had to grasp that factor even when he was trapped by contract.
"So we are married and this document is hidden by Charlie's mom?" He asked while adjusting Max in his arm and holding the hand of the primordial with the other.
The two pups though definitely different in age showed similar age mentality as clear indication that said primordial was really a baby at heart with how he held a pacifier in his mouth after Charlie summoned one earlier that morning. A bit of a strange behavior to the man but he didn't argue and he did take into consideration the culture difference this pup would be adapting to.
Beezlebub felt herself get giddy at his question and had to take a deep breath to stop herself from giggling like a schoolgirl. A few guards around the palace watched the two interact and gave raised eyebrows but quickly resumed their positions as Beezlebub looked at them with a raised eyebrow of her own.
Being so in control of herself was feat in its own when she wanted to take him away from all this and make up for lost time.
"Yeah baby, Lilith took the contract and sealed it away after Lucifer stamped it."
"Why?" He asked curiously.
She didn't need to think twice about that memory as it made her grimace with clear replay in her mind.
"Your mom thought you were making a mistake and tried to stop it." She suddenly laughed and cupped his face. "And boy did you got toe to toe with that bitch!"
Surprised by the sudden touch but still focused on the conversation, Noctis didn't pull away and forced down his need to outburst when she took this oppurtunity to lick his lips.
"And baby you were so pissed about it when she tried to separate us."
"She did?" He asked with a tilt of his head.
Beezlebub nodded bitterly and pulled away to resume their walk through the gardens with all four of her arms crossed and obvious distaste for Sera.
"Yeah that bitch tried to chain me up and lock me away, but you snapped and fought her."
Noctis was surprised by that and unsure how to question any further on Romna's history in heaven, but it seemed that his answers would come anyway when Beezlebub had a lingering need that showed in how much pain her expression showed just as she summoned her powers.
"I'll just show you."
"What?" He asked with wide eyes, watching the scenery shift into the same magic Lucifer showed back at the hotel after the first incident.
Reality seemed to wash away in this honey-like glow that waved as thin as water around them, as if transporting him and the pups back to the past that started the heaviness in her heart.
A wedding venue, burnt to charcoal across a meadow domain with Lucifer and Lilith trying to mediate the entire situation. The ground were scorched with many kinds of magic and various animals in this domain injured or dead from the fury between a mother and son that clashed both on the ground and in the air.
Beezlebub was not much different in her form but the coloration was more simplistic in a gold and white fashion with her hair and tail still lava-like. The only difference was that she did have a halo, wings, and a broken heart at how Sera disapproved so strongly this wedding that she tore the wedding dress and chained her to the ground to stop her.
No matter how hard she thrashed and screamed she was powerless to Michael and Gabriel holding the chains while the other archangels failed to stop Lilith from sensing the document away.
What's worse is Lucifer had no choice but to protect her while Romna was high in the air with his mother and clashing both magic and weapon against the very laws that dictate angels from fighting one another.
"Stop it!" Beezlebub screeched to the skies, hoping one of them would listen.
Mother and son, the future high seraphim and the seraphim lord, fighting on different beliefs with the magics between creating heated shockwaves that already destroyed much. This fight was now so questionable it had Michael questioning underneath his cold stare if they were actually in the wrong.
"Please ….." Beezlebub cried softly just before Romna and Sera crashed down in the heat of their powers.
"Stand down!" His mother commanded with authority and flicked what blood she drew off her son from her heavenly spear.
The angels present to stop this already official marriage waited for the dust to clear before wondering what they should do between two seraphim fighting on opposite sides.
Every fiber of resistance radiated off the young Romna as he touched a gash on his chest in the dust, his armor shattered completely from the strength he underestimated from his own mother that barely had a few scratches of her own.
"This binding you have done with Beezlebub goes against everything we are. You are my son and the seraphim lord. Your duties are to heaven and its people first."
"Maybe so." Romna acknowledge but refused to back down, his aura flaring once more and clearing the dust away. "BUT SHE IS MY WIFE NOW AND HER NEEDS COME FIRST!"
Such a declaration made Sera frown and step forward with her spear raised at him. It was clearly not words that could work this time that would make her child remember his place.
And for that she shed a single tear before firing a beam from the tip that was aimed to bring her son to his knees even if it broke her heart.
Romna flinched as he knew his mother was serious about this whole ordeal and raised his arms to block it to the best of his ability. To his knowing he had little chance of beating this beam that burned against his gauntlets as it pushed him back.
"Why!?" Sera shouted angrily and expanded said beam, ignoring Beezlebub's pleas for her to stop. "Why are you still resisting me!?"
Romna couldn't even answer that himself as he stomped his feet into the ground to stop himself. He could feel the resistance in his gauntlets start to melt away from the growing heat of her holy attack and knew he had to do something.
But what could he do against his own mother?
Despair started to eat at his need to win until he gazed to his left to see Beezlebub on her hands and knees with the chain now staked to the ground while Lilith and Lucifer tried to handle the archangels. She clawed and scratch at the ground in so much desperation to get to him it was heart shattering to watch her be so helpless.
The tears she shed though...
"No, I won't let you separate us!" He declared with finality and flared his power to its highest, cancelling the beam and staggering his mother back from the pulse.
How he got so powerful was mystery to Sera during her recovery. When she looked at him once more she gasped and froze at the power radiating of his glowing form. His wings though burnt had opened their eyes for the first time and the truest form of his light took hold.
"He's using his grace!?" She breathed shakily.
"AND I RESIST BECAUSE YOU DONT UNDERSTSND!"
"THEN WHY!?" She yelled, wiping her tears away. "TELL ME WHY, MY SON. WHY WILL YOU NOT END THIS FARCE YOU CALL LOVE!?"
Suddenly he moved and appeared before Sera could brace herself, feeling his hand grab her face and slam her into the ground.
"BECAUSE IM HER HUSBAND!"
To her painful realization Sera was dragged in a burst of speed and had her face painfully grinding against the dirt, trapped in this brutality of her child that seemed to lose all sense of composure.
"I don't care if you are my mother!" He leapt into the air with his grip ironclad as she thrashed to break free. "YOU HAVE NO RIGHT SEPARATING US!"
Sera had no time to regain her bearings and was forced to crash into the ground with an explosive crater forming, damaging her entire form more than any Angel had ever done before and knocking the wind out of her.
This powerful angel was more in shock than in pain when she looked up between her son's fingers to see this was not a fight he wanted either but was willing to do anything to protect what he just earned today. Through his rage she saw it wasn't just hurting them both but also breaking his heart to have to fight his own mother.
He was in as much as her.
"Don't make me do this." He pleaded quietly, his fist raised and shaky. "You're my mother."
Sera's eyes widened in shock as soon as his tears fell. She had never seen her son cry before and slowly felt her own come with the guilt of her actions.
"My darling I just want to protect you from—"
"I DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE COUNCIL FINDING OUT!" Romna yelled, he was absolutely beside himself with rage.
Beezlebub flicked her wrist and cast away the memory but maintained the reality of her mind around them, already regretting not just showing their past but also remembering every aching moment of hopelessness from that day.
"Fuck she was such a bitch." She huffed.
Noctis looked at her worriedly and didn't bother asking why she ended the memory so quickly. It was obvious she had a deep hatred for Sera for many reasons he felt he shouldn't pry.
Right now his main concern was how she hugged herself and turned away sniffling with a stiff buzz in her wings and irritation in the flick of her lava-like tail.
"You really loved Romna, didn't you?" He asked gently, hoping it wouldn't strike her.
Beezlebub suddenly spun back around with clenched fists and spilled tears, her third eye opening and boring into him.
Her breath was cracked and shaky but there was no doubt in anything about her love.
"Loved?" She spat in disbelief. "Reincarnsted or not I still love you so fucking deep it hurts."
Noctis flinched at the raise of her voice.
Beezlebub looked at him sternly underneath her pain and grabbed his wrist tightly, shaking with need and desperation.
She needed him to understand.
"I don't care if you're a new person. You are my husband and I spent generations mourning you. GENERATIONS!" She declared, tightening her grip almost painfully. "I never stopped loving you. You are my everything. You made the hunger go away!"
"The hunger?" Noctis questioned, putting up no fight or resistance from her grip. "I don't understand."
Beezlebub was a shadow her her current self in that moment. Her playfully and charismatic party nature had changed into something akin to her old self before she let go of his wrist and stepped back.
Apparently she was done being patient as Noctis watched this memory realm of his wash away again and form a moment of her last out nothing but honey.
"You will now!" She barked.
Noctis took a step back and watched the sin as her honey seeped out and surrounded the realm with memories from her past, each one shaping from the pain and need of him to at least acknowledge that she was indeed his wife even in this new life of his.
A little worry was in his chest, like a deep pitting when she molded the first memory into them as children before a soft music played to her gentle voice.
"How the hell does music keep happening?" He asked himself internally before she took both pups in her lower arms and him in the upper two.
When the honey mold formed it showed the two of them as children with her tucked away in his lap during a stormy night in heaven and she was clung to his form while seeking comfort.
"~You knew what to say, to make the fear go away~"
"~I refused to walk away, could never move my feet~"
"~The more you held me, the more I needed you~"
"~Something inside me changed, I didn't need heaven after that day~"
Noctis watched the mold come to life with her crying less and less during the heavenly storm in Romna's room, falling slowly asleep in the lap of his old self while the real Beezlebub suddenly took him into a dance she remembered.
Of course she surprised Noctis with this intimate gesture, but he didn't pull away from following her in this slow dance as more memories formed and the music around them became a romantic upbeat that matched her voice.
"~I didn't know it was heaven till you held me tight~"
"Don't need paradise when you felt just right ~"
"~In a way, your own way, you filled the hunger in my soul~"
"I don't need heaven when you feel just right~"
Noctis was ensnared alone by the rush of her memories coming to life in this golden wave, his mind full of confusion and also want for understanding as he followed the sin in a slow spin to be shown their history.
What didn't cross his mind though was that Beezlebub did not just do this to show them everything but to remove his doubt that no matter the life or time apart there was still one deciding factor about her.
Reincarnted or not she still loved him as deeply as the day they connected.
And so the events of history play to next scene she wanted him to witness, the depth of their past love forming from the first memory now into teenagers with her clung to Romna's leg and cowering to him while he defended her against the same hatred some angels still expressed over the years.
"~You knew just how to make my day~"
"~Always there, giving me reason to stay~"
"~You became my home, never let me be alone~"
"~Something about you made me feel above~"
"~I learned from you what it meant to love~"
"~I was so much hungrier in those days, oh, yeah~"
Noctis continued this awkward song and dance with her as the molds shifted to the very first time of Romna and her sealing the deal with what had to have a kiss worth remembering since she slowed the dance in that moment.
He watched with her what he had to imagine was the kiss of a lifetime, seeing Romana banish the world away by closing themselves off inside his wings while her tail coiled around his wait.
"~I didn't know it was heaven till you held me tight~"
"~Don't need paradise when you felt just right~"
He gasped at her suddenly taking his hands and pushing them between her breasts. Reality became set in stone when the same memory became what felt like her replay with her tail around his waist.
"In a way, your own way, you filled the hunger in my soul~"
Noctis blushed at her intimidate touch and remained still as the half-lidded gaze in her eyes spoke volumes of what he witnessed before. She wasn't giving him that dirty look for wanting his body. No, she was showing love again and leaning down with a whisper to his lips.
Romna or not, it didn't matter to the sin who he was now. The only only importance to her when his eyes started to close was that he was her husband.
"Now I'm in heaven because you feel right~"
Noctis found himself unable to completely resist this demoness as her hands grazed across his cheek, effectively pulling him into the warmth of her desires with both pups looking up in her arms to see.
"You may be their mate, but you are my husband."
"How?" He asked almost subconsciously. He didn't know why his body wouldn't listen but for some deeper reason he could feel his everything being pulled to her.
Beezlebub smiled with such love and triumph that only she could give.
"Because even with a new life our marriage is magically bound. You're starting to feel it, just like your mate bond with Charlie and Vaggie you're feeling our connection. The blood we shared to make our marriage is bringing us back together."
Noctis reached up to her face to block her lips from touching his. To his dismay however he found himself being guided to caress it against his will, causing her to purr and nuzzle his palm as the tears came down again but with joy.
"I missed you so much my king bee."
Beezlebub couldn't take it anymore, she couldn't restrain herself any longer. Thousands of years of heartache and suffering caught up to her in that one single moment of her old self, forcing every ounce of her love for him to control her entirely and cloud her mind of any thought or that they were not alone.
Like the other occurrences Noctis was in shock as he found himself kissed intensely by the sin. She had to lean down and hold him in place to make him feel the sweetness of her honey on her lips, growling needily while holding his arms. He felt the same lingering anger from her kisses before but it was quickly erased from his body as he felt that damn pull on him again and quickly opened something he hadn't felt since fighting Lyoria, opening those instincts once more.
His mind was exploding with every dominant trait of the leviathan, and it was hypnotizing. He grabbed her waist and growled in that otherworldly voice, losing his sense of control to the divine beast inside him.
He was claiming her as much as she was claiming him.
Noctis had no idea how these instincts worked or how to control them. But somehow in his closed gaze he could feel her smile press harder to his lips. He opened his eyes and saw she was expressing love and victory as he was graced with her needy moans.
Beezlebub's hair and tail curled instinctively around him, said hair tightened possessively as the gentleness in her eyes dilated to pinpricks and she breathed desperately.
All these feelings and carnal desires hit him like a train, forcing themselves to take control and casting aside his sense of rationality. His own eyes dilated and he looked into hers with need. They weren't gazing into him with the same pervertdness she expressed but with content at his response as he growled.
Finally she pulled away gasping for air and a trickle of saliva between them.
"That's it baby. Your body knows who can handle you and your instincts. All those feelings are—MMPH!?"
It was Beezlebub's turn to be in shock as Noctis pushed her against the garden wall and take her lips against his. Noctis had no idea what he was doing or why his own emotions betrayed him but he just did not care at all.
They were his instincts and they refused to calm down.
"Claim her! Claim her! Claim her!"
Everything he could think of and control was blown away by that repeated thought. It scared the man beyond measure that this connection and these instincts were working hand in hand, but the beast inside himself did not care.
Beezlebub felt like her world was spinning perfectly again. Her husband was kissing her exactly the way he would when they were alone, only this time there was no sera or the council to stop her. She could feel every hair on her body electrify from her power that crackled in response to her emotions as she cried against his lips.
It was repressed pleasure no demon, not even her ex could give her.
She cried against his lips.
"I missed you so much. I don't care if you're not you, just don't—"
Noctis was suddenly yanked away from her and the pups by the chains that linked his wrists to Charlie and Vaggie. His mind snapped back to reality to Charlie holding his arm while Vaggie got in front to block the denied sin.
Beezlebub's shoulders stiffened just as Charlie showed a little more power she usually kept hidden from everyone with a snap of her fingers to levitate Max into her free arm and Vaggie holding the hand of the primordial. The pups did yelp at this frightening motion but calmed down when they realized it was the girls.
"These are our babies." Charlie declared very coldly with her horns very erect and visible with crackling energy. "And we didn't say you can touch them."
Noctis' body relaxed enough for him to get a grip on himself. He stopped feeling that overwhelming pull from Beezlebub and quickly caught his breath while Carmilla came up from behind as well with both hands on his shoulders and the meanest glare a mother could direct at a sin.
Said overlord didn't care if she was in the presence of a now very agitated sin that was denied her husband. This was her child and what she witnessed was threatening with how easily she swayed her panting child into accepting a kiss and reciprocating.
"Explain what you just did!" She demanded with definite hate in her tone.
The Queen of Gluttony found herself denied once more as she glared at the three with restraint, as if holding back her urge to remind everyone why she was a sin in the first place. Obviously like them she had a dangerous protectiveness for Noctis as he sat down in the grass and collected himself.
"I was having a fucking moment with my husband until you three had to ruin it." She replied angrily.
"Then what the hell was all that with Noctis?" Vaggie asked questioningly.
Beezlebub laughed musically and the three girls found themselves with a deep desire to hit her.
"What do you think will happen when his instincts go full force?" She asked mockingly with a subtle press of her left hands on her hip. "You and your little one eyed soldier may have him docile, Charlie. But his instincts can't be suppressed at all times with you two being in control. He's gonna need to dominate."
Beezlebub had a valid point about the everything going on, and she emphasized it with another seductive pose meant to rile up Noctis.
"And unlike you two, I can handle letting him manhandle me with those urges when they come."
Vaggie was about to retort till her mind wrapped around the mystery behind those words. She suddenly became aware that over the course of seeing these unnatural responses Noctis had exhibited animal tendencies starting back to the meeting in heaven when he almost fought Adam in their guest room.
She looked back with Charlie to see Noctis standing dazedly with the help of his mother as she checked his forehead that permeated with sweat.
"He's burning up." Carmilla pointed out while she tried to maintain her hard demeanor behind those worried eyes.
"See?" Beezlebub pointed out matter-of-factly with a smug grin and a lazy finger. "You two are connected without a doubt but he's connected to me through our marriage and right now it is triggering his instincts."
"Noctis?" Charlie touched him with a tender hand to his check as he took in a deep breath. "Baby are you okay?"
Eventually Noctis snapped out of whatever insanely powerful lust had filled his entirety. He straightened himself up and nodded to Charlie, grasping himself in large inhales of air and focusing his mind.
"I don't know what happened. One minute we were doing a little dance while she sang and showed me memories....the next..."
He began to process what his body experienced but stopped as soon as he started at the smiling demoness.
"It's like something in me snapped. I wanted to just lay her in the grass and claim her."
"You don't need to baby." Beezlebub flirted with a seductive pose. "Your bumblebee is already yours."
"What did you do?" Vaggie asked in a dangerously quiet tone, making the sin only laugh and shrug.
"I didn't do anything cream puff. He reacted exactly how his instincts should. I'm his wife and he wanted me."
Charlie and Vaggie narrowed their eyes at Beezlebub and continued to hold Noctis and the pups as Stolas came from behind alone. The goetia prince groaned at the idea of another lover quarrel happening and decided to immediately step in between Beezlebub and the girls.
"That's enough of this." He ordered in a tone sharper than he normally let out, bellowing his cape with a fluster of his aura. "This conflict will cease and desist on the account this is my territory and that Noctis needs to be separated from you lot in order to master his powers."
Beezlebub hardened her gaze on the prince and walked over to him, curious but mildly defensive.
"What do you mean by separated?"
Stolas stood strong against the sin as she started to show possessiveness and some anxiety, refusing to back down while Charlie went into another emotional downpour and Vaggie explained it to Noctis.
"Exactly as I said, Beezlebub. He will be staying with me at the while I train him."
Beezlebub gasped loudly and snarled, ready to pick a fight.
"No the fuck he's not!"

Meanwhile in Heaven
Sera was sitting down on the floor against a dresser, staring down to a brilliantly crafted angel plushie she crafted so long ago from a few of her own feathers. She was not alone however. Emily was with her, her head in her sister's lap, her breathing slow and steady as she looked around this forbidden bedroom that Sera locked away from anyone but herself.
They were in Romna's old room, riddle with books and scrolls yet spotless with the only childish fragment being said plushie that was immaculately a reflection of the high seraphim.
Some would call it childish or pathetic to hold onto this piece of her history, their valued leader leaving the room of her son untouched for thousands of years.
Others would call it weakness, holding onto what little bit she had left of her child. Nobody understood her though, a regretful mother that dwelled on the mistakes she made so very long ago.
But Sera did not care as she stared silently down at her plushie self, rubbing her fingers across her own features with clear memory of the little boy that would run to her whenever he had nightmares or was hurt.
This toy, this carefully crafted gift, it was all she had physically to remember the boy she birthed with so much life and curiosity. Whether it was foolish or downright preposterous in the eyes of her colleagues, she simply did not care.
"This was his room?" Emily asked, rolling over to look up to her sister.
Sera did not answer Emily as expected. She remained focused on the plushie with her reflection in the glass eyes she personally made from star fragments, wondering to herself if she even had the right to be a mother anymore.
It was with this self doubt her mind drifted to happier times when she was not the high seraphim yet.
She began to daydream of her past.
She was lying in her own bed in a peaceful togetherness with Romna being the tired little boy he was after a disturbing day with the council. The walls were decorated with the golden symbols of protection she designed herself that filled every wall to keep others out.
Another quiet sob escaped her son while she laid in bed with pressing his small frame close to her chest, she couldn't see his face nor the tears that matted her robe.
But she knew today was the hardest with all the pain he endured for being what they called unnatural and for defending Beezlebub and her friends.
"Why is everyone so mean mama?" He asked against her chest.
The high seraphim in training sighed tiredly, before kissing the top of his head and holding him closer in her neck.
"Oh my darling star, they just don't understand that your heart is full of love for all creatures. Perhaps one day they will see beyond appearances that you are as special as they come."
Romna sniffled and nuzzled his face in her neck, needing this comfort more than his toddler mind could express despite his drooping wings showing how unhappy he is even in her arms.
"Mama, I don't like being a lord. It's so hard and everyone is mean to me because Beezlebub and her friends are my friends to."
"I know, my baby...it's just they don't see how strong you are."
Romna felt a brief bout of peace wash over but pushed it aside to look up to his loving mother caressing his head, his feelings for those strange angels were too strong to be pushed aside.
"Am I more special than Lucifer?"
Sera giggled and cupped his face with all the love she had for him. She stared into those innocent eyes she created with her own two hands and saw not just the potential but truly a young boy that refused to understand indifference.
"More special than any angel in heaven. You are my darling star and one day you and I will lead heaven together. And when we do, the entire council will know the love and power of Romna—The Seraphim Lord."
He giggled and pressed his nose to hers before rubbing them together, his love as pure as light.
"Well when I get bigger I'm gonna be the strongest angel so that nobody can ever hurt you or Beezlebub or her friends."
She laughed wholeheartedly and tucked him tightly in her arm.
"I have no doubt you'll be the strongest, my darling star."
She took a deep, content breath as his eyes began to droop under the starry night of heaven with the archangels flying close by her window.
They stopped at another lullaby though from their friend, and some even peeked inside to see this joyful angel rocking her child to sleep.
"~Rest now my little star, and dream a dream~"
"~Fly high in your peace, All is at it seems~"
"~Shut your eyes, close your fears~"
"~Guide your light, sleep in holy night~"
"~Sleep with me in heavenly...peace~"
"Sera!"
Sera snapped out of her memories and rubbed her eyes, noticing that Emily sat up in her lap worriedly at the tears she expressed.
She wiped her eyes and tried her hardest to smile, hoping it not make Emily worsen with worry.
"I'm sorry. I was thinking of the past when Noctis was Romna."
Emily worried more though with that answer and touched her hand over Sera's.
"But no matter who he is he's still your son, isn't he?"
"Of course. I'm just learning to accept things the way they with my son." Sera surprisingly laughed a little but ultimately confused the young seraphim that tilted her head and cocked an eyebrow.
She sighed at the tiresome continuance of having to explain everything to Emily. Yet deep down she felt it was the only thing keeping her going mad with guilt and anger towards her own mistakes that have harmed both heaven and hell for thousands of years.
She leaned against the wall with the feeling of need for salvation from the pain Adam would soon inflict if she did not go to his room soon. Not that it mattered anyway when she was numb to the violation of her body in order for him to remain silent to the public.
Still… when was it her time to be saved….
As she looked up to the ceiling she closed her eyes again to the imagery of her son, thinking how the next two weeks were gonna be hard for him to overcome.
For the first time though she felt selfish for breathing two words that came out so calmly and yet so full of desperation to be freed from the torment of Adam.
"Save me…"
————————————————————
Beyond the immeasurable goodbyes and motivations of his friends and family there was a long hour after his connection with Beezlebub that had the divine beast standing on the palace steps with Stolas at his side and a firm hand on the shoulder while the Hazbin and IMP gang drove away in their respective vehicles to resume their daily lives. Although the various hugs and kisses were a comforting feeling, Noctis was a little worried over how Charlie was looking at him from the back window of Carmilla's limo and still sobbing so pathetically after both parties got her forcefully in the vehicle and strapped her down.
It wasn't any easier though when Max pulled at his heartstrings with the repeated cries for Dada. Noctis could deny that he had truly stepped into fatherhood and how it affected him to the point of almost crying when he watched the vehicles disappear in the distance.
Still he had one companion though, the primordial that watched quietly while holding his hand and a very annoyed Loona that snuck out of Blitz' van at the last second to stay behind.
And of course one deeply motivated Beezlebub that disappeared in a swirl of honey and would return after giving a thorough check of her home.
Tension was already much for Noctis when these instincts reacted accordingly to his friends and family leaving. He didn't understand it yet but deep down they were all part of his pack and the separation was very similar to lacking a drug that is needed.
"This is not how I planned this to work." Stolas said with great frustration directed to the hellhound that stood behind Noctis. "And you will be in a lot of table when Blitz finds out."
Loona was not one bit afraid of facing Blitz and his wrath when this was all over. In fact she relished the idea of making him angry for the next two weeks with her antics of sticking to Noctis as much as possible.
She leaned on a nearby pillar, smirking so arrogantly and pretending to check her claws while Noctis scooped the overly affectionate hellhound in his arm to see about his needs.
"Yeah well he needs someone to help with the language gap with junior there, so tough shit bird boy." She replied dismissively, making the prince fluff his feathers.
Stolas was indeed irked by the hellhound and her disrespect of his decision and position in royalty, but he noticed how she interacted so well with Noctis and the primordial that started to warm up to her with playful nips to her fingers when trying to rub his ears.
"Odd." He puzzled his beak at the little pup being so happy. "Why didn't he go with the others?"
Loona rolled her eyes and continued interacting with said pup. "Because he's bonded to Noctis and no one else. It's why he was fighting and crying earlier, separating him would be like abandonment."
"And you know this because…." Stolas drawled, challenging the gothic hellhound that was now standing too close to Noctis with her tail around his waist.
She grimaced at his response but said firmly with a hint of pride. "No matter what kind of fucking hellhound, every pup clings to their alpha. And he has nobody else so of course he's going to freakout. He's scared being without his alpha, asshole."
"Hey let's all calm down." Noctis interjected before the two could escalate their indifferences. "Stolas it's fine if he's here. I can be a dad and train at the same time."
"No, that's why I'm here." Loona playfully punched his arm, a mistake she had to hold in after feeling said punch vibrate back in her arm.
Noctis didn't even budge an inch but laughed genuinely while held in her pain to look tough in front of him—not that it mattered when Stolas could see the shakiness in her hand after pressing it to her side.
"That girl is going to be troublesome for his mates."
"So anyway—" Noctis took a breath and faced the goetia with eagerness to learn. "What's first in getting me to be ready for extermination day?"
Stolas rubbed his head in frustration as Noctis and Loona waited for him to answer, clearly intending to fight out together just how much of the leviathan he has tapped into so far.
"The first step is that we need to have you study the grimoire that was given to us for your benefit. So for the next couple of days I will observing your academic and supervising your spell crafting since this is a league of power I must learn about as well."
Loona gazed at the prince with a smug grin for a few more moments before pushing his buttons.
"We'll hop to it then. He's gotta be ready to fuck some angel ass up before extermination day."
"If you weren't Blitz daughter…." Stolas left his mutter hanging in the air while walking back inside with them to follow.
Unfortunately for the Goetia Prince his day was only getting started and about to worsen with the appearance of a few nobles of familiar annoyance standing in the foyer with graceful bows that he knew were not at all genuine but directed to the following Noctis that was oblivious to the tension.
"Are you going to teach me to fly?" He asked like a child with eagerness, only to silence himself at how Stolas stopped before his most-unwanted family members with a scowl on his face.
"And what is it you two want?" The prince asked coldly, hearing Loona growl protectively behind him.
He could only imagine this was the start of Loona and Noctis developing together and he barely looked over his shoulder to see the hellhound tucked into Noctis' chest with her head under his chin. Surprised but grateful, Stolas was starting to see the benefit of Loona sneaking away from Blitz to stay for Noctis.
"She's already chosen him. Even with no imminent danger she's protecting his throat."
"Loona?" Noctis said quietly in confusion of her protectiveness as the familiar goetia members stopped their bowing.
Loona didn't answer but Noctis could tell from how she was pressing acting that something wasn't right about these two. He trusted her to sense whatever was going on and allowed her to stay like this while the first noble smirked right at him.
Whatever the case, he held the primordial tighter to his chest and kept calm.
"What do you want, Andrealphus?" Stolas asked sternly.
"Why nothing at all." The peacock demon played casually his response while his sister pretended to be as friendly as him. "Just welcoming his majesty to his official stay in our palace."
"And we are most eager to see you develop into the authority you are." Stella added, smiling too sweetly to the man. "Perhaps sometime in your time between training and studying we can speak."
Noctis was about to speak until Stolas fanned his cape out to block their view of him. Tension was rising with the man unable to see the scowls that showed for a brief moment while loona remained ready to defend. His attention broke off though at the feeling of her tail coiled tightly around his waist as she growled even more dangerously.
"Loona calm down." He tried to take her focus off with gentle talking and a touch of her shoulder.
To his dismay she didn't calm down or loosen her posture.
"No." The hellhound quietly growled while Stolas talked against his wife and brother-in-law. "You don't know them like I do. They're wanting you and trying to get in your good graces."
Noctis wasn't as surprised as Loona had thought he would be, or be so calm about it while Stolas remained firm about his family maintaining this argument that had Stella booking with fury.
"I know." He admitted which made the hellhound flinch and look up from under his chin. "I'm used to this kind of thing."
Though she remained very defensive and protective, Loona showed a flicker of surprise before Stolas turned to them and faced her with his own hostility.
"Don't ever leave his side." He ordered quietly before regaining his more noble demeanor with a soft cough and smile. "Loona why don't you take Noctis to his room so he can study the divine grimoire."
Loona caught on immediately and snatched the book away as soon as Stolas held it out for her. Once in her arm she grabbed Noctis by his free hand and practically dragged him away.
But not before hearing him whisper in their passing, "Don't let him out of your sight. I'll handle Blitz about you staying."
She nodded and took the surprised man away from the situation just before it became a screaming match between the three goetias. Those words alone though made Loona understand that Stolas was grasping the severity of her staying behind for Noctis . Of course her own vendetta was to get closer to him, but at the same time she knew that even an all-powerful being needed someone to protect them.
And both she and Stolas knew that Noctis' best chance was for a hellhound like her to have the same incentive of pushing him the right way. Not the way Lucifer tried. Not by coddling him the way Charlie, Vaggie, and Beezlebub had been.
He needed someone like Loona, someone who can put feelings aside to make Noctis strive for the title he was given in his previous life.
The Leviathan—Guardian of Heaven and Hell.
"Starting to get hungry again." Noctis admitted as they walked the halls, ignoring the screams that echoed behind.
Cute or not about his appetite, Loona rolled her eyes and spun in place to glare at the man as he sniffed the air of food in the kitchen nearby.
"You want food?" She asked and crossed her arms.
"Well yeah, and I'm sure the little guy here is hungry." He chuckled with the primordial watching their interaction.
"Well you better get to studying when we get to your room." Loona advised coldly, gauging the surprise on his face at how she was suddenly acting. "Unlike those other bitches I'm not gonna pamper your ass. You're the fucking leviathan and you have two weeks to get ready for when Adam and his whores show up."
Noctis remained silent and pondered this sudden change of behavior in the glaring hellhound, before nodding and continuing the walk to his room. Said firmness from Loona did make her feel just a shred of guilt for coming off so harshly, but he needed a firm hand to guide him right and that's what made push her feelings back down and follow.
By his own surprise though he felt her hand take his and hold it tightly as she continued to be what neither his mates or his supposed wife could be.
A stern friend.
"You're gonna study all fucking day and night if I have to make you. I want you practicing spells real damn soon so Stolas can prep you for fighting."
"Okay." Noctis drawled with uncertainty as he eyes her hand holding his, feeling her claws dig in.
"And don't even think of sneaking off for a break or anything. I have your scent and I'll fucking find you and drag you back." She raised her hackles and grinned sadistically with dark intentions that even made him shiver. "Even if I have to beat your ass."
Noctis knew better than to argue with Loona and marched into his room with a loud yelp after she smacked him hard on his behind with the book.
It was going to be a very hard two weeks for him.
