Chapter 94: Second Professional Fight
Before long, Alex was back in the MMA gym. With his injury fully healed, he had become the same animal he was prior to being stabbed in the right hand. And within a week, his coach approached him with a fight offer, though it was to be taken on a week's notice.
Most fighters would pass on such an opportunity, as the risks far outweighed the benefits. But Alex wanted to step back in the cage as soon as possible, and rack up another win. He was quite confident that he would win, even if he only had a weeklong training camp. And thus, Alex accepted the offer, and spent the next week doing nothing but training and cutting weight.
By the time the fight arrived, the man had just barely made it to light-heavyweight. And looked more like a ghost than he did a man. But this quickly changed as he rehydrated over the next twenty-four hours. And when the music began to play, he looked like the same savage he always was.
Alex walked out to a particularly bold tune, which was taken from a popular video game. Its title was "the only thing they fear is you" and as he walked out to the cage, he was pounding on his chest, and biting his fanged mouth guard, while working himself up into a state of primal rage.
Like the last time he had fought, Alex noticed all of his women sitting in the front row cheering for him. Their numbers had grown, and this was noted by commentators who made a remark about why so many women were cheering for this foreigner.
"You know I'll tell you, I have never seen so many beautiful women gathered at an MMA event just to cheer for one guy. I wonder if he's romantically involved with them all?"
The other commentator scoffed when he heard this, before reprimanding his colleague for his remarks.
"I'd sooner eat my hat than believe that twelve gorgeous women were all banging the same guy! Just focus on the fight, will you?"
As for Alex, he did not notice that there was another girl in the crowd. She was alone this time, unlike the previous fight, and was eying Alex with a complicated gaze. This was of course none of than Nari. Whether she was here to witness his defeat, or cheer him on, nobody knew but herself.
But Alex did not even see her as he walked to the Cage, whereupon entering he began to roll his wrists with a menacing glare like he had done before. It was a pre-fight move which had been inspired by a fighter who had once fought in Japan nearly twenty years prior to Alex's debut. And was in all honesty one of Alex's all-time favorite fighters.
After Alex entered, he glared at his opponent, who was the first to step foot in the cage. His opponent was evidently a former kickboxing world champion from Romania, who had recently transitioned to MMA, as was expressed by the commentator.
"In the red corner, fighting out of London England by way of Bucharest with a professional record of five wins and one loss we have Alonzo "Cobra" Fineski, former four time ISKA kickboxing champion, and the number three contender of the TFC!"
Alonzo was a man nearly as tall as Alex was, though he was bald, with a short black beard, a weak chin, and beady eyes. He also had a cobra tattooed on his chest. Yet despite the man's alleged status as a "kickboxing world champion," Alex felt no fear, and instead glared at the man as if he were nothing more than prey that was about to be devoured.
The announcer then mentioned Alex's name, and record, much to the cheers of the crowd, many of which remembered him from his spectacular performance in his debut, which was only a month or two ago.
"And in the blue corner, fighting out of Seoul, South Korea, with a record of one win, and zero losses, we have Alex "Berserker" Smith!"
Alex then pounded his chest with his fist, and punched his own jaw three times in a savage demonstration, which would intimidate a lesser man. He then met up with his opponent in the center of the cage, where the referee went over the basic rules before he touched gloves with "Cobra" and went back to his corner.
Once the bell had rung, Alex sprung to action, rushing towards the center of the ring with a flying knee. Though "Cobra" swiftly dodged the telegraphed attack, he was nearly backed up against the cage as Alex threw a clean combination of a jab, cross, shovel hook to the liver, and a leg kick. Of which only the cross and leg kick landed.
"Cobra" was surprised by the raw aggression Alex had as he continued to throw strike after strike with little regard to his own safety, truly living up to his nickname as a berserker. The former kickboxing champion had no choice but to circle around Alex and throw counter strikes towards the man. His leg kicks were easily checked by Alex, and his punches were adeptly parried or dodged.
However, as Alex began to connect more and more shots to his opponent, whether it be punches, kicks, or knees. The man managed to land a powerful right hook on Alex's jaw. A shot that would normally knock down most opponents, if not shut out their lights entirely, was simply shrugged off by the rampaging madman, who mocked the former kickboxing champion, by punching himself in the jaw where the shot had landed, and lowering his hands with a bestial roar. One which even the crowd managed to hear despite the various sounds that echoed throughout the arena.
The man tried to kick Alex in the body with a roundhouse, but Alex caught his kick, before sweeping him to the ground with ease, as if he were fighting in Bangkok. Yet to the surprise of the crowd Alex did not even bother attempting to hit the man when he was down, instead he turned his back on his opponent, and took a few steps back before motioning towards "Cobra" with his hands to get up and fight him like a man.
By now, there was a look of fear in his opponent's eyes. After all, he had hit Alex with his best shot, and the man was entirely unphased by it. Almost as if he were made out of iron. Once he climbed his way back to his feet, Alex threw another flying knee, landing it in the man's gut, where he began to elbow his opponent while mixing in a few punches.
The former kickboxing champion covered up from the onslaught, but was slowly sinking towards the ground with each strike that landed. Only to be saved by the bell. Once the round was over, Alex returned to his corner, where he stood, as if he were entirely unphased by the continuous onslaught he had unleashed upon his opponent for nearly an entire round.
Meanwhile, the former kickboxing champion was sitting on his stool in utter disbelief. His legs were already welted from Alex's leg kicks, and from his own kicks that were perfectly checked by his opponent. There was also a gash over his right eye, and bruising on his ribs. The man spat out his mouth guard and voiced his dismay at his corner with a quasi-British accent, not realizing how it was possible for one man to be so savage.
"Who the fuck is this kid? And why have I never heard of him before?"
After all, he had close to sixty kickboxing fights, or ninety, depending on who you believed. But in his entire career, he had only ever fought tin cans. Men with losing records, or men who had only a handful of professional fights to begin with. Hell, his last kickboxing fight was against a guy making his debut, and even then, he nearly got knocked out in the first round.
But he had never fought a guy who could continuously rampage across the cage, and shrug off hits like Alex had. As for Alex, he was grinning in his corner, listening to their advice. They were cautioning the man on his pure aggression, not believing he could keep it up for a whole three rounds.
"You're doing great out there, kid! But not every strike needs to be thrown with the intent of killing the poor bastard! You can't keep this up for two more rounds! Relax, breathe, and control the fight the way you want to. This guy is a nobody, former four time kickboxing world champion my ass. He's never fought anyone great, not like you, kid!"
However, Alex simply grinned and shook his head, defying his corner's advice as he put his mouth guard back in and punched himself a few more times, while jumping around as if to get himself pumped up. He then said the words that his corner would never forget.
"I don't need two more rounds. I'm going to finish this in thirty seconds!"
After saying this, the break was over, and his corner began cursing him for being reckless. But Alex didn't care. He once more claimed the center almost immediately where he threw a few fierce roundhouses with his left leg, which connected onto his opponent's ribs. Causing him to wince in pain.
Yet the former kickboxing champion did not go down, and instead began to throw a combination in retaliation, which Alex numbly dodged with his agile head movement before throwing a big over hand left, which collided with his opponent's weak chin, dropping him to the ground completely unconscious.
It was as if a hydrogen bomb had gone off, as the crowd jumped up and shouted in pure excitement. Yet Alex did not end the fight there, instead he immediately jumped on top of his unconscious opponent and landed a solid left hook right on the man's chin for the second time, and was about to throw a third when the referee interfered and pulled him off.
Alex then ran around the cage like a madman, before scaling on top of it where he beat his chest, and bared his fangs while roaring like an enraged animal to the crowd, who ate up his savage act as if it were the most addicting crack cocaine they had ever smoked.
Soon enough, his opponent recovered with a bewildered look on his face, not knowing where the hell he was or how he had gotten knocked the fuck out. And before long, the two of them were brought to the center of the cage, where Alex's hand was raised and proclaimed the winner.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this competition has come to an end, after our referee has called a stop to this contest. With our winner by knockout Alex "Berserker" Smith!"
Alex raised his hand into the air, with his finger held up in a number one gesture, before hugging his opponent in a display of proper sportsmanship. The man, however, seemed to be rather displeased with Alex's overwhelming victory, and did not even return the gesture or say anything to Alex as he stormed out of the cage.
Meanwhile, the ring girl that Alex had kissed after his previous fight stepped forward and hugged him while she inserted a slip of paper which contained her number into the palm of his hand without the crowd being any the wiser. She then whispered something in Alex's ears that only he could hear.
"Call me later stud…."
Alex simply smirked and groped the woman's tits on camera before responding to her comment with one of his own.
"You can bet on it…."
After this display, the interviewer stepped forward, laughing at Alex's repeated shamelessness, before questioning him on his aspirations.
"Alex, your record is currently two and o, having proven yourself against a world class grappler in your professional debut, and now against a four time world kickboxing champion. Do you plan to fight for the title next? Or do you have some other goals?"
Alex wore a charming smile as he spoke into the microphone with an arrogant tone in his voice.
"Nah, the title of a regional promotion like this means nothing to me. I plan to knock one more sorry son of a bitch out, and then demand a UFC contract! I mean, how many more people do I need to send to the hospital before Dan Weiss gives me my shot?"
This remark caused the crowd to roar in excitement. And the interviewer to chuckle… He then patted Alex on the back, before saying his final thoughts on the matter.
"Well, I wish you good luck with that… And I hope to see you in the UFC soon!"
Alex nodded his head, and then walked out of the octagon, where he was greeted by the twelve women who had shown up to cheer for his fight. After two highlight reel finishes, Alex wasn't wrong. So long as he finished his next fight in equal, if not superior, fashion as his two previous performances, then he was bound to catch the attention of the President of the Ultimate Fighting Challenge. Which in this world was the largest mixed martial arts promotion in the world.

Chapter 95: Stopping a Stalker
The very next day, after his second professional fight, Alex was right back at work. In fact, he had actually taken the day off from university, specifically because a big event was happening. Mimi and her group were having a live concert, and Alex had a bad feeling that the stalker would attempt to make his move again.
Thus, Alex was up bright and early, dressed in his security uniform. Not only that, but knowing the stalker would be armed, he brought with him a stun gun and some zipties just to be safe. Which were both concealed on his person.
Nobody would ever know that Alex had just fought in the cage with a man the night before, because there was neither a bruise nor a cut on his face. And when he showed up at the concert venue, he did not even bother to brag about his victory. After all, he had more important matters to be concerned about.
Aside from his job of watching over Mimi and protecting her from any and all threats which might present themselves. Alex he had pulled a few strings with the label and gotten VIP tickets for his stepmother. Chae-Yeong was, after all, a huge fan of Mimi, and would consider such an opportunity to see her live, and in a VIP box no less to be an amazing gift. Which was exactly what Alex did for her.
And while he was making sure his beloved stepmother was properly settled, Alex noticed someone else that he was familiar with. The young police officer Chun-Hei was patrolling the venue, as if looking for the stalker among the crowds of those who had gathered. When Alex saw this, he approached the woman and offered her a cigarette.
"You can relax you know… There is no way that bastard is harming Mimi, at least not when I am around to protect her…."
Chun-Hei scoffed as she doubted the sincerity of Alex's words. But she accepted the cigarette and took a deep inhale before puffing out the smoke. She was normally not one to smoke, but her life had been particularly stressful lately. After all, her father, the police chief, had been up her ass lately trying to get her to find the stalker who she let escape.
Yet there were no leads, and the only thing she could do was hope that he would show himself at this concert. But since Alex had approached her, and spoke of how he was protecting this girl, she had to ask some questions that had been on her mind lately.
"I don't get you… After all the things you have done to me, and the things you have done to plenty of women other than myself. I would think you were the last person on earth who would ever risk his life to protect a girl, and an idol, no less.
Yet not only do you genuinely seem to be worried about this brat's safety, but you even went so far as to prevent a gang-rape of a classmate, and protected her mother from an abusive and intoxicated ex. What's your game?"
Alex grabbed the cigarette from the woman's hand and took his own drag. After he had expelled the smoke from his lungs, he wore a smug grin before answering the woman's question honestly.
"You want the honest truth? Not every woman is conquered the same way…. I know things about you that you might not even realize yourself. You're not the kind of girl who wants to be protected by a big, strong man, nor do you really desire to be taken out on romantic dates. You're the type who likes to be abused and humiliated by your partner…. I knew it the moment I first laid eyes on you… So yeah, I treat you differently than a pure and innocent girl like Mimi."
The young blue-haired beauty dropped her jaw and gazed at Alex in disbelief. Did he just say he intended to conquer her by abusing and humiliating her? What nonsense was that? She was just about to say something in her defense when one of her colleagues stepped forward. It was the same detective that Alex had raped Chun-Hei in front of within her dreams.
He was stunned when he saw Alex, because he did not know the man from his dreams really existed. In fact, he dropped the two cups of coffee he had in his hands and pointed at Alex while yelling at him in disbelief.
"You! You fucking bastard! What the hell are you doing here?"
Chun-Hei, and Alex both looked at the man as if he had gone mental, where Chun-Hei was quick to interrogate Alex about how he knew the man.
"You two know each other?"
Alex, however, shook his head, and denied ever meeting the man, which was perhaps the most damning thing of all.
"Never met the man in my life. Who is he?"
It was only now that the detective realized that he had made an outburst about a man he had never met in real life, and had only ever seen in a nightmare which continued to plague his thoughts even now. He took a deep breath and forced himself to become calm before apologizing to Alex.
"I'm sorry… I mistook you for someone else… You are just eerily similar to that scumbag…."
Chun-Hei had no idea what the man was talking about, but Alex merely shrugged him off entirely before walking away.
"I should probably get back to my post. I don't like being away from Mimi's side for so long, especially in an event like this. See you late Police Girl…"
Chun-Hei couldn't help but get flustered at the nickname Alex kept calling her and hollered at him in an almost pathetic voice, which he ignored entirely.
"It's Chun-Hei God damn it! Chun-Hei! Get it right!"
Once Alex was gone, the detective looked at her with confusion and fear in his eyes before asking for an explanation from her.
"Chun-Hei, who is that man?"
Chun-Hei simply averted her gaze, and blushed in embarrassment, before speaking her thoughts aloud. Though her tone was not convincing.
"I guess you could call him a friend?"
The detective decided to leave the matter at that. Though he was deeply worried that the rapist from his dreams was actually a real person, and planned to investigate the man's background when he got back to the station after this event was over.
As for Alex, he returned to his post, which was patrolling around the changing room. He had an incredibly eerie feeling in his gut, as if it were telling him something was about to go do sooner rather than later.

The concert had begun, and though Alex did not really enjoy K-pop, he had to admit, while watching Mimi perform, that the girl was almost the perfect idol, and the crowd loved her. In fact, the crowd was so enthralled with the girl's performance that Alex truly believed he would never in a million years be able to captivate an audience this large as a professional fighter, like she had done with nothing more than singing and dancing.
Each man who had gathered to watch the performance, held glow sticks in their hands, and sang along perfectly to the lyrics of the song. And when the song ended, they would call out the name of their favorite idol, most of which screamed Mimi's name at the top of their lungs. Something which obviously annoyed the other idols in her group.
Even some of the other security officers and police were not paying attention to their surroundings and were instead singing along to the lyrics of the songs that were being performed. Yet Alex was not so captivated, and instead he shook his head while maintaining his vigilance from backstage. At the same time, he commented on his so-called peers and their failure to do their jobs properly.
"Fucking amateurs!"
Alex was just about to reach into his pocket and pull out another cigarette when he saw something peculiar. A hooded fan had scaled past the barriers and jumped onto the stage. There was a knife in his hands, and he was headed straight for Mimi, while screaming at the top of his lungs something that was completely delusional.
"You cheating whore! I'll never forgive you!"
The other idols quickly fled, while Mimi stood frozen and gazed upon her attacker like a deer caught in the headlights. She thought for sure that her life was over, but just when she was about to get stabbed in the heart, her guardian angel ran forward and tackled her attacker.
The man was on the floor, with Alex on top of him. He violently resisted, and even tried to stab Alex, when Alex pinned the man's knife wielding hand to the ground, and reach around to his belt, where he pulled out his stun gun. He tased the crazed stalker in the neck, while cursing him out in a voice that Mimi did not hear.
"Get fucked, psycho!"
The man screamed in agony as his muscles seized up, causing him to drop the knife, and allowing Alex to restrain and ziptie him. Meanwhile, the crowd was panicking, and both the police and security worked together to prevent an all out riot.
It was not until Chun-Hee ran up to Alex, and secured the perpetrator, that Alex was able to check on Mimi's condition, who was still frozen on the spot in disbelief, with her mic in her trembling hands. Alex grabbed hold of the girl's shoulders and spoke to her in a panicked tone.
"Mimi! Are you alright? He didn't hurt you, did he?"
Mimi gazed upon the man who had twice now attempted to kill her, wondering what she had ever done to make him so angry with her. It was not until Alex forced her to look at him, did she finally realize she was alright.
"Mimi! Look at me! Are you alright?"
After hearing these words, Mimi looked over at Alex, and how nervous he was, before silently nodding her pretty little head. Upon seeing that the girl was alright, Alex was so relieved that he unwittingly hugged the girl, and brought her close into his embrace, while whispering something into her dainty ears that even he had never thought that he would say to a girl.
"Don't you ever scare me like that again…. You have no idea how worried I was about you!"
Mimi blushed when she heard these words. She did not know why, but now that she was in Alex's embrace, she felt safer than she ever felt before in her life. Despite almost dying just seconds ago, an overwhelming sense of comfort spread across her heart and mind as she stood there and hugged Alex back.
Chun-Hei only got a glimpse of this and was astonished by Alex's genuine, heartwarming gesture. In fact, for reasons she did not know, she pouted as she dragged the would be murderer away, while being particularly forceful.
"You are going away for a long time, you fucking psycho!"
Meanwhile, the stalker gazed upon Mimi's warm and loving smile as she hugged Alex and felt like he had been cucked yet again, going so far as to bawl like a bitch and call out Mimi's name over and over again.
"Mimi! Mimi! Mimi why?"
Once Mimi was safely escorted out of the area, the remainder of the concert was cancelled due to security concerns. And Alex parted ways with the girl, leaving her with a particularly warm and fuzzy feeling in her heart. This would persist for several days after the event, and would begin to cause her several problems at work.

Chapter 96: A Heartwarming Scandal
Despite suffering a near death experience, Mimi did not take any time off from work. Instead, she showed up every day to do her job. Why did she do so, despite having such a traumatic experience? Well, she didn't know it herself, but it was to see Alex. Because aside from work, she had no opportunity to see him or talk to him. Hell, she didn't even have his number.
But there was only one problem. Whenever he was in sight of her, she felt weird… She would lose her concentration, her heart would feel fuzzy, her body would suddenly become warm, and yet there was also an overwhelming sense of security that enveloped her senses. However, the moment Alex was no longer in her sight, she would return to normal. Or perhaps, even feel depressed, along with a deep sense of longing in her pure heart.
It was becoming such a problem that after several days of failed practices, where her choreographer actually yelled at the girl after noticing her repeated and "random" slip-ups. At first, the woman thought that perhaps Mimi was traumatized over what happened at her last concert. And had given her time to adjust, but the girl's condition seemed to keep getting worse. And thus the choreographer had no choice but to speak with the girl's manager.
"I don't know if she is suffering from some kind of trauma from what happened at the concert, or what. But the girl's dance moves are totally out of sync with the rest of the group. Not only that, but I hear from her vocal coach that she's failing to hit the right notes at times. And it appears random. Perhaps you should have a chat with Mimi and find out what's going on."
Ji-An was shocked to hear that the star which had always shined the brightest was suddenly starting to dull. If things like this continued, it would put the girl's career in jeopardy. And thus she had resigned herself to speak with her client at lunch.
And sure enough, the lunch break arrived. Mimi had actually planned to meet up with Alex, and give him a home cooked meal she had prepared for him, but Ji-An had caught up with her first. And cornered the girl in an attempt to find out what was wrong with her.
"Mimi… I know what you went through last week was traumatizing… But, you know I am here for you. So please tell me what's going on? And don't tell me you are fine! You are messing up your dance moves and your vocals, so something is clearly bothering you!"
Mimi was shocked at first. She had almost completely forgotten about her near death experience. After all, her thoughts were completely full of all the great memories she had of Alex, and even some sinful and intrusive fantasies. Like wanting to hold hands with the man while walking through a park.
Which was exactly what appeared in the innocent and pure young woman's mind when Ji-An approached her with her questions. Because of this, the girl grew flustered, and placed her hand over her heart while averting her gaze. Thinking about Alex made her lightheaded, and thus, there was an almost entranced tone in her voice as she spoke her thoughts aloud.
"Jiji! I think I'm dying!"
This sudden remark caught Ji-An off guard and freaked her out, to the point where she grabbed hold of Mimi's shoulders and asked what was wrong with her.
"What? Why? What's going on?"
Mimi immediately confessed to her "symptoms" not knowing what they meant, or what she was feeling.
"Well… Ever since Alex saved Twinkles, I have been feeling a bit lightheaded whenever I think about him… And my heart is all fuzzy, my body feels warm, and after the concert, I just get an almost serene feeling, I don't really know how to explain it! Jiji, am I dying?"
Despite the fact that Mimi was an eighteen-year-old woman, she had been so sheltered her entire life by her overprotective parents and managers that she did not even know what love was. Naturally, Ji-An was aware of this, and as her manager, she was actually paid to keep Mimi sheltered to such an extent.
But when the pure and innocent girl expressed that she was in love with Alex, and thought that she was actually dying, Ji-An had no choice but to tell the young woman the truth. With a heavy sigh and a shake of her head, the woman could not help but express her thoughts aloud.
"I don't believe this…. Mimi, you're not dying, you're in love… My God, what will your parents say when they find out that the man I hired to protect their daughter has ended up seducing her? I am in so much trouble!"
Mimi's parents were by no means normal individuals, and they doted on their daughter more than anything. Naturally, Ji-An was not aware of Alex's background as a playboy. But she had explicitly warned the man not to do anything funny with Mimi, and yet the girl had fallen head over heels in love with him.
The young idol in question flushed red in embarrassment when she heard Ji-An's words. She was in love with Alex? This was what love felt like? If that was the case, then maybe… just maybe they could hold hands like she dreamed about? The idea nearly caused the girl's brain to fry from over excitement. Which Ji-An noticed. And immediately decided to do something about it.
"Don't worry Mimi, I'll take care of this. You wait right here, while I go and find that bas- I mean Alex — and have a proper talk with him."
Mimi nodded her head obediently towards her manager. And watched as the woman stormed off to go give Alex the telling off to of a lifetime. However, a deeply anxious feeling appeared in Mimi's heart as she thought about the expression on Ji-An's face.
It almost appeared as if she was angry at Alex. And at that moment, the young and innocent idol decided to follow her manager and eavesdrop on her conversation with Alex. Despite knowing it was something she shouldn't do.

Ji-An found Alex sitting alone in the cafeteria while eating his lunch as he stared at his phone. And when she grabbed hold of his shoulder, he quickly turned around and nearly punched the woman on instinct. But when he saw it was none other than Ji-An, he sighed heavily, and relaxed his stance, before scolding the woman for sneaking up on him.
"What are you trying to get punched in the face? You should never sneak up on a man like that!"
Ji-An, however, did not care in the slightest over the fact that she almost got hit, and instead spoke in a voice so loud that she attracted several bystanders.
"What are you even still doing here? You were hired to protect Mimi from her crazed fans, and now that the stalker is behind bars, your services are no longer required! Would you like to quit yourself? Or should I file a complaint with HR and have them fire you?"
Alex was stunned by this sudden attack. Fire him? Over what? What could he have possibly done that this stupid klutz knew about, that could possibly get him fired? He knew for a fact that those bitches would never rat him out, for fear that he would retaliate and destroy their careers. And thus, Alex also knew that this sudden outburst was about something else entirely. He just didn't know what.
Sure, he should have quit, and normally would have after fulfilling the job he was hired to do. If not for two reasons. One, Mimi and Ji-An were both heroines who he needed to conquer to complete the prologue and move on with the actual main story of this Manga which he was in.
But more importantly than that, Alex had become overly fond of Mimi in a way that was hard to describe. For the first time in his life, he did not find a woman who he wanted to fool around with. It was not even in Mimi's nature to be hateful or angry. She could only innocently pout, and threaten to quit on Alex's behalf. Which turned out to be a checkmate, because everyone in the cafeteria gasped at the girl's words.
Ji-An quickly approached Mimi and tried to placate her, but the girl was as furious as an innocent and pure soul could be.
"Mimi, you can't mean that! He's the reason why your performance has been so poor lately! I was only trying to help! Please, think about your career as an idol!"
However, Mimi was having none of it, as she quickly rushed past Ji-An, and hugged Alex while continuing to pout like a small child.
"Alex is not leaving! I won't feel safe without him… If he goes, then I go! Jiji, why must you be so mean?"
Alex was stunned that the girl who had previously told him that the only thing which made her happy was being an idol would suddenly become so adamant to quit on his behalf. However, he had actually missed a message from the system earlier in the day while he was focusing on his group chat with his harem.

Thus, he wore an almost bitter smile as he petted the young woman's bubblegum pink hair a second time before expressing his opinions on the matter.
"If that's what you truly want, then I'm not going anywhere. Just make sure you don't regret this choice later on…"
After hearing Alex promise not to leave her, Mimi smiled before reaching out her hand, with an embarrassed expression on her face, before asking Alex to do what to her was the most naughty thing her mind could conjure.

Alex struggled to prevent himself from laughing at such an innocent request. He was genuinely amused by how innocent this girl was, that she thought that something as simple as holding hands was somehow lewd. At the same time Alex froze in place, before looking at the girl as if she had just said something completely out of this world. He quickly questioned why she would say such a thing with an almost panicked tone in his voice.

The girl looked at Alex as if he were being silly before telling him why she had made her previous comment. Causing Alex to believe that she genuinely needed to be protected from every man in this world, especially himself.
"Daddy always told me that if I hold hands with a man I will become a mommy!"
Alex had the immediate instinct to slap the shit out of the girl's father for nearly causing him to have a heart attack. As he informed the girl that holding hands would not make her pregnant.

She was just about to ask Alex how babies were made if they weren't done so by holding hands, when the man pressed his finger to her lips and shushed her.
"Mimi… That is a conversation that we should have in private…"
It was only after Alex said such a thing that Mimi realized her entire confession, and her accidental suggestive comments were witnessed by the entirety of the cafeteria. Where she immediately became so red that Alex thought that she may have become an entirely different species. The girl did not say a thing, and simply clung to Alex, hoping he would bring her away from the place of her shame, which he was quick to do so.
Despite the fact that Mimi had publicly confessed her feelings for her bodyguard in the cafeteria of the label's headquarters, nobody dared speak a word of it. Because it technically violated the girl's contract to date someone. Yet, she was currently the label's biggest star. Thus, the corporate lawyers immediately shoved a gag order down the throats of everyone who was present to witness such a heartwarming scandal.

Thus, after driving the girl home and returning to his penthouse, he was actually in a pretty good mood. So much so that he was giving off an entirely different atmosphere. It was almost as if his icy heart had begun to melt. This was something that his sisters immediately noticed as they asked Alex why he was smiling like an idiot.
"Well, well, well, look who's in a good mood? What happened, little brother? Did you win the lottery?"
Alex chuckled when he heard Kristina say this before responding to her question in a way she did not expect.
"I guess you could say that. I managed to get a young idol to fall in love with me…. So I guess you could say the odds of that happening are similar to winning the lottery!"
Both Kristina and Madison dropped their jaws. By now, they had seen Alex with multiple women and it was beginning to drive them crazy with envy. Especially since he could not even remember the promise he had made to the two of them when they were younger.

Alex spent the majority of the week trying to figure out how he would remotely be able to convince such strict and overprotective parents to let him take their daughter out. Though Mimi was an adult, she was still childish in many ways. And thus, she would never flaunt her status as an adult to do something her parents disapproved of.
In all honesty, Alex hoped that they were not the kind of people who were capable of investigating his background, or had already done so. Because he was, after all, Mimi's personal bodyguard, and had saved her on multiple occasions, and yet her parents never bothered to personally visit him and thank him for doing so. Almost as if a man of his caliber was entirely beneath their notice.
Thus, Alex decided to go out all with his appearance, in order to give off the impression that he was a respectable man, worthy of their daughter, and not some pompous douche like he actually was. By now, they were familiar with the fact that Alex drove a nice car, as he usually drove the Lamborghini to and from work. Thus, Alex decided to go the extra mile and show off the Senna, which was worth almost three times the amount of his Lamborghini.
When Alex showed up at the gates of the mansion, he did not even need to ask for permission to enter, instead he was waved through the security automatically. Which gave him a rather grim feeling. If they were already aware that he was coming over, despite not calling in advance, then that meant that Mimi had already spoken to her parents about his visit.
And sure enough, the moment Alex pulled up into the driveway, he was escorted into the house by several armed bodyguards where he found Mimi's father and mother waiting for him. While the girl's mother had a happy smile on her face, the old man next to her was far from pleased, as he glared at Alex with a murderous glint in his eyes.
Mimi was not present for this meeting, which confirmed Alex's suspicions. Thus, he did not stand on ceremony, and instead spoke to the two wealthy elites with a straight to the point demeanor.
"I assume Mimi has already explained why I am here… The fact that you didn't refuse me entry on the spot means you at the very least have a message that you want me to hear, so get on with it…"
An arrogant smirk appeared on Mimi's father's face as the man scoffed in disapproval. He then tossed a manila folder onto the table that sat between him and Alex, which when he opened it revealed all the dirty details about Alex's activities since he had first transmigrated into this world.

Alex scoffed when he heard these words, and looked at the armed guards around him, before finally guessing the identity of Mimi's father, or at the very least, his background.
"You're a politician, right? Or perhaps you're a high-ranking figure in the intelligence community? I mean, no offense, but armed security, and men with SMGs no less, perhaps in America I'd assume you were a gangster, but with the strict gun control in this country even your police don't even have guns. So you must be someone pretty important to have this kind of security running around your private property. Which is odd, considering the last time I was here you were asking me for pointers… What was that, some kind of test?"
Mimi's father was not amused with Alex's assessment and crossed his arms while leaning back on his sofa before explaining his position in a hostile tone.
"I'll admit that you are smarter than I initially gave your credit for. You are far more than some petty thug. You not only guessed a fairly accurate assessment of my background based on limited information, but you also immediately understood that during our first encounter, I was testing your knowledge and skills.

Alex did not behave the way the man thought he would. Instead, he broke out into a fit of laughter. Almost as if the man's suggestion was simply the funniest thing he had ever heard in his life. After taking several moments to calm himself down, Alex responded to the man's questions with a lighthearted tone in his voice.
"Oh, man? You really think I'm a terrorist, don't you? Jesus fucking Christ, that's the funniest thing I've heard in like a month! No, I'm not a terrorist… Or a gangster, for that matter. Though after your explanation I can see why you would Assume I was.
For the record, my proficiency in hand to hand combat stems from the fact that I have been training in mixed martial arts since I was five. As for my ability to handle firearms, in case you somehow have failed to notice I'm an American citizen.

She had been listening to the entire conversation, and though there were some things she didn't understand, she knew her father was trying to paint Alex as a bad guy. And thus she immediately ran to his defense.

He also went out of his way to save Twinkles from those mean girls when nobody asked him to, and he even stopped them from bullying me! If he was such a bad guy, why would he do all of these things for me?"
Mimi's father felt like his heart had been shot by an arrow. His daughter had never called him a meanie before, which was pretty much the worst insult she had in her childish vocabulary. The man honestly had no idea why a scumbag like Alex would go to such lengths just to sleep with his daughter. But he wanted to kill him with his bare hands at that moment.
Jae-In was just about to deny his daughter's request, despite hearing about the kindness Alex had showed Mimi, when his wife grabbed hold of his forearm and shook her head. For the first time since Alex had arrived at Mimi's home, her mother decided to speak her thoughts on the matter.
"Dear… Although I don't approve of Alex's lifestyle, after hearing what our daughter has said about him, I think he genuinely cares about Mi-Young, and isn't just using her. Besides, she is now an adult, and we can't keep sheltering her from the world forever. At the very least, we should allow them to start dating, though, I do believe we should monitor the situation to make sure he doesn't try anything…."
Upon seeing that both his wife and daughter had suddenly taken Alex's side, the middle-aged man could only grit his teeth in anger before agreeing to allow Alex to date his beloved daughter.
"Fine! You little bastard! If you even think about touching my daughter inappropriately before you marry her, I will personally make sure you are buried alive in the freaking ocean!"
Mimi was excited to hear that her father had finally allowed her to date Alex, while the man himself was truly shocked that a father like him would allow any man to ever date his daughter. After convincing Mimi's parents to allow him to take their daughter out for the day. Alex was happy to escort the girl to the local mall. After all, he had something special planned out for her, something that he knew she would like.
Of course, the moment after he left with Mimi, her parents decided to dispatch some members of the intelligence community to keep an eye on them. If Alex tried anything inappropriate to their daughter, he would surely pay the price.
Then again, Mimi's parents weren't the only ones who wanted to follow Alex on this date. He had made it known to his family that he was going out on a date with a young idol, and because of this, his sisters Kristina and Madison were both incredibly jealous and curious. Thus, they too followed Alex to the destination he had boasted about during his planning stage.
If that were not bad enough there was a third party who was interested in stalking the young couple while they went on their first date, and that was Mimi's manager Ji-An, who felt it was her duty to protect the pure and innocent girl from a bastard like Alex.
Thus, coincidentally enough, there were three parties dressed in disguises, while stalking Alex and Mimi as they walked around the mall. However, they were surprised when Alex and Mimi stopped in front of a local store. One which caused Mimi's mismatched eyes to widen in disbelief and excitement.
She, too, was dressed in a disguise, which included a pair of sunglasses to conceal her unique eye colors, a mask to conceal her facial features, and a hat. After all, she didn't want any of her fans or, god forbid; the media finding out that she was on a date with a man. Because that would surely spark a scandal that could potentially end her career.
Yet, despite this concealed appearance, Alex could tell immediately that the girl was excited, and grinned before voicing his thoughts aloud.
"What do you think, Mimi? Do you want to build a friend for Twinkles?"
What Alex had planned for the girl was to take her to one of those build your own stuffed animal places. And it appeared to have worked like a charm. Because the moment Mimi realized this, a look of childlike wonder appeared on her adorable face, despite the fact that it was concealed by her disguise. She meekly reached out to hold Alex's hand as she questioned whether or not they were really going to buy something from this store.
"Are we actually going inside?"
Alex, of course, was happy to see that the girl was ecstatic with his idea, and thus he nodded his head with a warm and charming smile before confirming that was indeed his plan.
"Only if you want to…"
With this said, Alex could feel the girl's grip around his hand tighten as she responded with an excited tone in her voice.
"Thank you so much!"
After saying this, Mimi let go of Alex's hand, and ran into the store like a child in a candy shop, where Alex followed suit. The two of them were obviously the oldest customers by far, if you excluded the parents of the children who were running around deciding what they wanted to name their stuffed animals, and all that other junk that came with a store like this.
Meanwhile, Mimi couldn't decide. Naturally, her favorite color was pink, and like Twinkles, she was attracted to the plushies that had that as their primary color. However, she was having a hard time in choosing a pink stuffed rabbit and a pink stuffed monkey, which she was quick to ask Alex about.
"Which should I get? The rabbit, or the monkey?"
While Alex could easily afford both, he decided to only buy one for the girl, simply because he felt that she would treasure that one stuffed animal that he had purchased for her, more than she would if he had bought her two. And thus, he pointed to the rabbit, before complimenting the girl.
"I'd say the rabbit is better. It suits you better, and she's almost as adorable as you are…"
This caused Mimi to blush in embarrassment. And of course, one of the staff members saw the two of them picking out the stuffed rabbit, and was quick to offer help.
"Is that the one you want?"
Mimi silently nodded her head, still embarrassed about what Alex had said. Causing the employee to smile as she helped Mimi fill the rabbit with stuffing. And print out the name certificate. Once she had done this, the employee asked Mimi if she wanted to buy any outfits for the rabbit. Which caused Mimi to look over at Alex with a hopeful expression on her pretty face. Alex could, of course, only shake his head and smile before telling the girl to pick out whatever she wanted.
"You can pick out however many accessories you feel like for your new friend. It's on me anyway, and money isn't an issue for a guy like me!"
The moment the employee heard that, her attention shifted to Alex. She had been jealously eyeing the young man for some time now. After all, he was a good-looking foreigner, and he seemed to be treating his date better than any boyfriend had ever treated her. But when he not so subtly bragged about his wealth, the female employee became even more envious of Mimi than she previously was.
Still, the employee didn't let it show. While she helped Mimi pick out all the outfits she wanted for her little rabbit, and once she had properly boxed up everything, Alex swiped his credit card. Not even bothering to pay attention to the price, as he signed his name on the receipt before grabbing hold of Mimi's new prize with one hand, while holding her dainty little hand with his other.
"Now that we've had some fun, how about we go get some lunch?"
Mimi couldn't help but nod her head in agreement with Alex while following him to the food court. Unbeknownst to Mimi, two golden-haired beauties were disguised as they pretended to be receiving a mall manicure while watching Alex's every move. They spoke to each other with extreme disapproval towards Mimi while also voicing their jealousy aloud.
"Who is that bitch? And why is Alex treating her like a little kid… You don't think he's committing a crime by being with a younger girl, do you?"
Madison's voice was far more timid than her older sisters when she spoke. Specifically, because she did not enjoy being in a crowded mall like this one and was in the middle of nearly having a nervous breakdown because of it.
