Kazuyoshi Igarashi looked nervously at the Russian keyboard and said, "Can this open the door to the secret basement?" Conan turned to face everyone and said, "There should be a password, Mr. Sergei, you press the Russian letters."
"Oh." Sergei put down the box in his hand and walked towards the Russian keyboard.
Mouri said excitedly, "'Memories,' it must be the Russian for 'memories'."
"Vospominaniye." Sergei said, pressing the keyboard as he spoke. However, after Sergei finished typing, nothing happened in the room.
"Strange..." Mouri said, looking incredulous.
Kazuyoshi Igarashi spoke up, "Then press Kosaka Kiichi!" However, there was still no movement. Seeing that he had tried twice and it was still wrong, Sergei asked Natsumi, "Miss Natsumi, have you heard anything about this password?" Natsumi shook her head, "Absolutely nothing..."
At this moment, Conan said a phrase, "Barushepu Nikukadamē..."
"Hmm?" Natsumi didn't understand what Conan was saying. Conan looked at Natsumi, "The phrase Miss Natsumi just said, it might be Russian."
"What did he say?" Mouri asked Yuu, stating he completely didn't understand what Conan was saying. Yuu was about to explain to Mouri when Ran interrupted him in a very fierce tone, "Shh, don't interrupt!" Yuu saw Ran like this and didn't object to her, but just prayed for Conan in his heart, "Shinichi, you're on your own."
Sergei asked, "Miss Natsumi, 'Barushe' what?" Natsumi replied to Sergei, "'Nikukadameka'." "'Barushepu Nikukadameka'?" Sergei was very puzzled. He had never heard this Russian phrase before and completely didn't understand what it meant.
Conan saw Sergei's expression change. "Perhaps the phrasing is wrong?" Sergei began to try one by one, "Baru, she, Nikuka, dameka... Hmm..." After thinking for a long time, Sergei still couldn't figure out how to phrase it correctly.
Yuu couldn't bear to watch Sergei continue to waste time like this. "Could it be 'Barushepu Nikukadamē'?" Hearing Yuu's words, Sergei instantly felt a flash of understanding.
"That's right! It's Barushepu Nikukadamē!" Conan asked, "What does that mean?" Yuu thought for a moment and said to Conan, "In English, it's 'the last'... uh, I'll say it in Japanese. It should be 'Magician of the Century's End'."
"Magician of the Century's End? I seem to have heard that somewhere." Mouri scratched his head, but just couldn't remember. Ran gave Mouri an annoyed glare.
How long has it been, and you've already forgotten? "Kid's notice of theft, that's what it is." "That's right, what a coincidence." Mouri clapped his hands, indicating he had remembered. Conan, however, didn't think so. "Coincidence? Really?"
"Let's try pressing it first, Barushepu Nikukadamē..." After Sergei finished pressing, everyone clearly heard the sound of gears turning. Yuu revealed a triumphant smile. "It seems this is the password.
Knowing a dozen languages certainly has its advantages." Soon, the floor in front of them began to split open, revealing a basement entrance that led downwards. Natsumi looked at the entrance in astonishment.
"What is this?" Sawabe never expected that the castle he had been in for so long had such a secret space. "There's actually something like this?"
Kazuyoshi Igarashi saw the door open and couldn't help but praise Conan, "Amazing, kid!" So, the group present began walking down with flashlights, to find the purpose of their visit here: another Egg of Memories.
Yuu and the others had already entered the basement. What were the trio doing? Outside the castle, Mitsuhiko tried his best to pull the door, but it wouldn't budge. "No, this side is also locked."
Genta said anxiously, "Damn it, if we don't hurry, we won't find the jewel." Professor Agasa saw Haibara walking down the stairs. "Hey! Ai, where are you going?" Haibara continued walking without looking back. "I'm just going to see that tower."
"Haibara, what's in there?"
"It must be treasure!" "That's great!" The trio saw Haibara walking towards a tower, thinking Haibara had discovered something, so they immediately rushed past Haibara towards the tower.
Genta excitedly opened the tower door, but found nothing. "Strange, Haibara, there's nothing." Haibara said calmly, "I never said there was anything here." At this moment, Professor Agasa ran down the stairs, panting.
"Let's go back." However, Professor Agasa's hand rested on a brick. He accidentally pressed it, activating a mechanism that caused the trio and Haibara, who were inside the tower, to all slide down a hole that had opened.
"Ah! Ah!?" The trio continuously shrieked as they fell. Professor Agasa immediately ran into the tower, but found the hole bottomless. "Oh no!" He had no choice but to run back to the castle courtyard, intending to drive home to get a rope ladder to rescue everyone.
Genta slid onto a platform and stopped. Just as he was about to breathe a sigh of relief, he was bumped down by Ayumi and Mitsuhiko from behind. Haibara slid down gently and landed steadily on the ground.
Ayumi and Mitsuhiko landed on Genta's stomach, making Genta scream in pain, "Ouch, it hurts so much!" Mitsuhiko touched Genta's stomach. "What a soft stomach!" Ayumi thanked Genta, "Thanks to you, I wasn't hurt!"
Genta, standing up, touched something soft. He curiously picked it up and saw a long object. "What is this?" Ayumi thought of a terrifying idea, so she shouted, "It's a snake!" "Ah!?"
Mitsuhiko and Genta immediately dodged to the side. Haibara calmly turned on the flashlight on her phone and shone it on the snake-like object. "It's not a snake! It's a rope ladder. It's very old.
It was originally hanging there, but it broke." Genta immediately breathed a sigh of relief. "You scared me to death! I really thought it was a snake." Haibara looked at the trio, "What do we do? Wait for Professor to rescue us? Or keep moving forward?"
Genta looked at Mitsuhiko, and Mitsuhiko looked at Ayumi. The trio exchanged glances, reaffirming their original goal: to find treasure. "Then of course we keep moving forward! We're here to find treasure!" The trio said to Haibara in unison. Haibara smiled, an expression of "just as I expected."
