Tatsu and HarleyĀ stood beside Adrian, Tatsu wasĀ in a professional suit like a bodyguard while Harley was dressed as a secretary with a pair of glasses to complete the look.Ā
Harley got rid of her clown makeup and now looked like her old self and if one were to see her then they would be hard pressed to identify the crazy Harley Quinn.
Ā Adrian tapped his pen on the notepad in his hands as he critically gazed at Bette who gulped under his gaze.
She had expected the person under the armor to look like many thingsā¦ but she certainly hadn't expected this.
Not only was he young but he was also a hunk, the kind that rich woman would splurge a fortuneĀ to keep around.
But that was not the main thing , despite his looks, the man before her frightened Bette as she didn't even understand what was happening.
She felt like she was at a job interview, she had half a mind to ask if this was some kind of elaborate joke but was too scared to say anything as even Dutchess got her ass handed to her quite easily, and was now lying on the floor in the corner of the room tied up like a package.
Bette didn't want to end up like thatā¦.

"Hmm,Ā a radical separationistā¦ so a terrorist to be preciseā¦" Adrian said thoughtfully, making Bette tremble as she felt the man gazing at her as if he wasĀ appraising her.
"I'll give you two options, you can stay at Arkham or work for me and as long as you are willing to change your ways then freedom will not be a pipe dream and maybe I'll help you with your goalsā¦" Adrian put forward his offer making Bette sigh in relief.
At the same time a bitter smile formed on her lips as she understood there was no choice to begin with.
It was just an illusion of choice. But at the end of the day she was a criminal so expecting anything more was just ludicrous.
" What about Waller ? You don't think she would just let us be, do you?ā¦. " Bette asked the question that was bothering her and the other villainesses in the room.Ā
"That's exactly what she is going to doā¦" Adrian interlocked his fingers as he rested his chin on top of them while gazing at a nervous Bette.
"And why would she do that ? " Barbara Ann Minerva aka Chettah scoffed as she sat on a sofa while gazing at Adrian challengingly.
"Because she or anyone behind her wouldn't want to piss off a not so amiable version of Supermanā¦." Cheetah's smug look wavered as she remembered whom she was dealing with.Ā
'Strong as that boy scout ? Fat chance!' Cheetah scoffed inside her mind , but she dared to not voice her thoughts.
In the end she just snorted and turned her head away.Ā
Adrian paid her no heed as he already had the keys to making that kitty obedientā¦.

" Louise Lincoln ā¦ the second generation Killer Frost,ruthless, cold , lacks empathy, calculating, self servingā¦" Adrian said calmly as he gazed at the second interviewee
"..." Louise's jaw clenched as her face hardened a bit but she still kept quiet as she just glared at Adrian.
"Give me your handā¦" Adrian extended his palm as Louise raised an eyebrow at him wondering if he was unaware of her ability.
She stared at his outstretched palm for a while, hesitating a bit before quickly remembering the way this bastard beat her up and brought her here. Maybe this would be a good way to get back at him.
He couldn't blame her either since she was just doing what was asked of herā¦.

Killer Frost's smile faltered as her eyes widened in disbelief when she felt nothing upon touching Adrian.
Adrian's face was calm but she could feel the mocking intent in his gaze and it made her a bit pissed , as she tried her best to siphon his heat but no matter how much she tried she felt nothing.
She was focused on trying to siphon his heat that she was caught off guard when she felt a warm sensation unlike any coursing through her being making her moan out in bliss as this was utter comfort for her. ( She is a heat vampire , she needs heat from living beings and has killed people for it , to her heat is like blood )Ā
"Aaangh~ " Louise let out a startled moan as her face flushed as she was feeling the pure and powerful thermal energy Adrian was emitting making her whole body feel like she was on cloud9.
But as she was enjoying it , the sensation suddenly got cut off, making herĀ whine as she tightened her hold over Adrian's hand and pressed it against her cheek.
It took her a few moments to come to her senses as she let go of his hands like it was hot iron as her face flushed in embarrassment and something else.
"If you can behave ā¦ then there would be more of that where it came fromā¦" Adrian smiled at Killer Frost who felt like his offer was something she couldn't refuseā¦.
