Chapter 165 - Chapter 165 – "I Help Raise Your Son and You’re Still Mad About It?"

Crack!

Crack!

Thunder split the heavens. Black-and-red lightning surged across the sky like a rain of arrows, all aimed straight at Klein!

The twisted, leaping bolts tore through the air with savage force.

"Finally, a high-tier match with some quality..." Klein's eyes glinted with an intense brilliance as he licked his lips. "I wonder if your greatsword's been itching for action too?!"

Once, he thought the peak of the world was too distant to even dream about.

But ever since he'd started "life with cheat codes," he knew—eventually, he'd break into the world of elite kings!

His past enemies were nothing. They couldn't even scratch the surface of what it meant to go full pay-to-win!

Right now, his heart brimmed with an unexplained thrill—and anticipation.

"It's finally time to test how much I got for all those microtransactions. Since I can't find Rocks yet, I guess you'll be my whetstone!"

"Harald!"

Harald was furious—he'd just arrived, only to see his own son floored by a single punch.

He charged with a roar, the ground shaking beneath his titanic strides. The surrounding snow-capped mountains trembled and triggered avalanches as he swung a gargantuan sword at least thirty meters long.

"Supremacy Sea Slash!"

The massive sword cleaved the air, unleashing a ridiculous shockwave. Even the atmosphere twisted under the pressure, as if it were groaning in fear.

Klein instantly drew the Amenonuhoko, lowered his stance like a ninja, and grinned wide. "Hey—you're Harald, aren't you!?"

"I've waited way too long for this moment!!"

Through the snow-covered battlefield, the shockwave blasted forward like a roaring cannon. Klein charged straight at it.

His boots left a trail of prints in the snow.

From the snow-white blade of the Amenonuhoko, crackling black-red lightning burst forth—like terrifying serpents crawling and dancing along the steel.

"Divine Departure!"

He slashed straight into the oncoming shockwave, and lightning went berserk!

Boom!

The blast exploded outward in all directions. The snow instantly evaporated, revealing the fractured earth beneath—crumbling apart.

Chunks of shattered stone and dirt rose into the air, freed from gravity's grasp, suspended midair.

"What a powerful shockwave… No wonder it's called the Elbaf Spear: Ikoku." Klein narrowed his eyes, feeling the overwhelming, primal force hidden within.

The floating rubble around him vaporized like ice under flame.

Meanwhile—

Harald's eyes filled with disbelief. He stared at the small figure before him.

"He actually blocked it!? This guy… he has the combat strength of a Marine Admiral!?"

"What the hell is someone this strong doing in Elbaf!?"

With a few monstrous strides, he was right in front of Klein—just a few dozen meters apart.

He gripped his sword with both hands and brought it crashing down!

The bloodline of the Ancient Giants granted him unstoppable power. The very air screamed beneath his swing!

Klein pushed off the ground, launching into the air and swinging his blade upward—

CLANG!

Blade met sword, unleashing a deafening shockwave as black-red lightning tangled across the sky like a hellish net.

"I'm taking your son with me, Harald!" Klein said, locking eyes with the demonic face before him.

Harald's eyes blazed. "Bastard! I won't let you take him!"

"He's the prince of Elbaf!!"

They separated, Klein landing lightly while the snow within a thousand meters had already evaporated in their clash.

"Heh..." Klein chuckled. "I won't judge you too harshly. But let's face it—you're a terrible father."

His grin stretched wide, arrogant and wild.

"I'm taking Loki with me. You can't stop me!"

"If you can't be the father he needs—then I will. And if you've got a problem with that..."

"Take it up with my sword!!"

Whoosh!

Wind howled around him as his cloak fluttered and his blade flashed with a cold, merciless gleam—far sharper than any frost.

Loki stood there, a massive bump swollen red and purple on his head. His gaze remained eerily calm and blank, as if the collapse of the sky itself wouldn't faze him.

Yet from him, an air of loneliness and silent desolation seemed to drift—soft snowflakes clinging to him, giving him a fragile, heartbreaking appearance.

"What a huge—huge giant!!" Os gasped. The giants he'd seen in taverns barely stood ten meters tall.

But this king of Elbaf? At least thirty meters!

Gloriosa blushed deeply, both hands cupping her flushed cheeks. "He's tall and burly—but still lost to Klein-sama! Klein-sama really is the strongest~!"

"Phew..." Shakky exhaled smoke. "So that's a true Giant King. Still, first time I've seen anyone take a hit from Klein-sama and still stand!"

Newgate's eyes gleamed with excitement. "They're both so strong—so damn strong—!"

"One day, I'll be that strong too!!"

The sheer scale of the clash—the raging thunderstorm overhead—had his blood boiling, his heart pounding faster than ever.

But right then, Harald's face darkened to a terrifying shade. His heart was blazing with fury.

"What kind of NTR script is this!?"

"That Marine looks so decent—but he's actually a damn kidnapper!?"

Right in front of him, the guy was trying to become his son's new dad!?

He couldn't take it!

He wanted—so badly—to rip this human's lips off just to vent his fury!

"DAMN YOU!!" Harald howled. "I don't care if you're sincere or not—I'll never let you take my son!!"

The massive sword roared forward with a vortex of wind, exploding with terrifying black-red lightning!

That blade carried the destructive might of the Ancient Giants themselves!

Klein scoffed. "You don't even put effort into raising your kid, and now you're mad that I offered to?"

"In that case—let's settle this like men!"

His gaze sharpened. In front of Harald's massive form, he was but a speck—but the power and Haki flowing from his blade?

Not a single bit weaker than Harald's!

CLANG!

Sparks and lightning erupted together, unleashing a terrifying shockwave that blasted out in every direction—

Destroying everything in its path.

The ground beneath cracked apart. Klein leapt skyward, laughing wildly. "Now this is more like it! As expected of the King of Giants with ancient blood—today…"

"Let's fight till we drop!!"

He swung casually, sending out a brilliant slash that shimmered through the air.

The hundred-meter-long arc smashed into the giant sword, forcing Harald back several steps.

Green light burst through the dim "Netherworld," dyeing the overhead island clouds a vibrant jade hue—

It looked like a world of green sky and dark sea!

"What a tyrannical slash!" Harald was stunned. "Since when did the Marines have monsters like this!?"

The green glow shattered. The giant sword swept sideways like a meteor hammer, wind roaring like an avalanche.

It was a simple move—but the pressure was terrifying!

Klein didn't dare underestimate it. He gripped his blade tightly. Under the effect of Haki, the sword had turned black, wreathed in black-violet flames.

CLANG!

Crack! Crack! Crack!

The ground split beneath him—huge fissures spreading in every direction.

"My body's heating up!" Klein's black eyes glowed crimson, pulsing with intensity.

"Let's raise the temperature a little more!!"
