In the arena, the battle continued.
After discovering that Hypnosis had no effect, Trinity made a decisive call and continued to have Poliwrath attack with Water Gun.
The Water Gun traced an arc through the air and once again accurately hit the red Gyarados.
But the red Gyarados completely ignored the damage from the Water Gun. It even disregarded the large chunks of rock from the collapsing pillar that smashed onto its body!
Trinity was secretly amazed.
This is just absurd...
Precisely because she also owned a Gyarados, she knew how terrifying this red one was.

Ignoring the falling debris, the red Gyarados turned its body and once again closed in on Poliwrath.

In contrast, Poliwrath, after steadying itself, had to quickly launch another Water Gun attack. When the red Gyarados drew near, it was forced to jump to another pillar again.
This was the fourth pillar it had landed on. It barely had time to breathe. The constant moving, attacking, moving again, and attacking again had it sweating profusely. Moreover, the next pillar was even farther away than the previous ones, already reaching fourteen or fifteen meters!

Only then did the audience truly get a glimpse of how gigantic the red Gyarados was!
Barely half of its body was out of the water, yet it already towered a head above the stone pillar!
At this moment, the red Gyarados looked down from above at the Poliwrath on top of the pillar. It suddenly opened its massive jaws, and as a deafening roar came out, Poliwrath felt a hurricane of misty air blow past. It had to plant all four limbs on the ground just to barely avoid being blown off the pillar!
To the audience, this scene didn't look like a Pokémon battle at all; it looked more like a weak human fighting some kind of behemoth!
In the command box, Trinity's heart was in her throat.
Poliwrath...
At this point, she seemed to have already foreseen what would happen to Poliwrath, but she did not choose to recall it.
Although defeat was inevitable and she was extremely worried, she couldn't just surrender!
She was a Pokémon trainer, after all. She still had her dignity and bottom line. In front of so many spectators, and in a final like this, even facing an unbeatable opponent, if she really surrendered, no matter how highly Natsui would be praised afterward, she herself would become a background character, laughed at by everyone who remembered this match!
