"Come on, kid," Zabuza continued slowly as he walked toward the door, boasting about his legendary achievements in surgery, "I've got a surgeon's touch—never missed a beat with the blade."
"Doctor, I can tolerate being carried like this," Muyue gritted his teeth, eyes brimming with tears. "But could you please not press my kidney against the sharp bone in your shoulder? I swear, I can't handle the pain anymore."
"Hey, why didn't you say anything earlier? You kids these days, why suffer in silence? If you'd told me sooner, I could have adjusted your position right away!"
Zabuza complained loudly, then swung his arm and flipped Muyue over so that he was now facing upward.
"Doctor… my back… is going to break…"
Muyue didn't even want to talk anymore. Just then, he thought he heard a cracking sound from his spine. He feared he wouldn't survive this rough treatment.
"Don't worry, I'll just fix it later!" Zabuza waved his hand dismissively.
"Dad… Mom…" That was Muyue's final thought before the pain swallowed him whole.
"Hey, what kind of doctor are you, treating a seriously injured person like this?" Muyue's team leader Jonin rushed over in a frenzy. Upon seeing Muyue slung over Zabuza's shoulder like a sack of potatoes, his anger flared even further.
"What did I do? I'm using a Hidden Technique to help heal his injuries faster!" Zabuza stopped walking and stood there, spinning a tale for Muyue's Jonin supervisor.
At that moment, Hiashi Hyuga quietly gestured to Haku from the shadows, calling him over.
"Is there anything the Hyuga clan head requires?" Haku asked respectfully as he approached.
"Um, Doctor Haku, here's the thing," Hiashi Hyuga said as he took out a small vial and pressed it into Haku's hand. "I have here a medicine that can help heal injuries quickly. I want you to use it on that Cloud Village kid as compensation for Hinata injuring him." He added with a smile, "You'll be well-rewarded once you're done."
"Hmm, Head of the Hyuga Clan, our hospital really can't just use outside medication without permission!"
Haku coughed lightly, voicing his protest verbally, but his hands had already swiftly taken the medicine.

"Coming," Zabuza responded, hoisting Muyue onto his shoulder as he walked towards Haku. He couldn't resist turning his head back toward the thoroughly bamboozled Cloud Village team leader to say: "Brother, rest assured, leaving your student in our hands is absolutely no problem. We guarantee we'll return your student just as you left him!"
"Thank you both for taking care of this," the team leader of Muyue said gratefully, looking like someone who'd just scored an incredible deal.
"No trouble at all, no trouble at all—it's only natural for physicians to save lives and heal the wounded!" Zabuza chuckled benevolently, sounding very virtuous indeed.
"What devoted and conscientious doctors they are."
The Cloud Village team leader murmured only after Haku and Zabuza had gone.
What he didn't know was that those two "devoted and conscientious" doctors were already plotting to mess with his student.
"Cough cough, the match is about to begin. Please send representatives from Konoha's Nara Shikamaru and Sunagakure's Temari onto the field as soon as possible."
