"It's okay!" Choji said with a grin, scratching his head modestly. The special ability he had developed was meant for situations exactly like this. Although the impact of the Rock Iron Cannon was strong, it was still within his tolerance.
"If that's the case, I'll really go all out now!"

Even as he shouted the warning, Gan Jui had already rushed up close and threw a punch straight at Choji.
"You watch out too," Choji replied, throwing a punch of his own. However, the moment their fists collided, Choji's expression changed abruptly, and his body flew backward immediately.
"What incredible strength!"
After rolling across the ground several times, Choji finally steadied himself. Standing back up and shaking his wrist slightly, he seemed quite surprised that Gan Jui had sent him flying so easily.
"You're not hurt?!" Gan Jui asked in shock. He knew just how strong his own punches were—especially since that last one was enhanced with Earth Release chakra. It might not have been enough to win outright, but it should have at least injured Choji.
"I've got pretty solid defense!" Choji vaguely explained before enlarging his body rapidly. He tucked his arms and head into his torso, transforming into a giant ball. "You better be careful too—try my Human Bullet Tank!"
Chapter Two Hundred Fourteen: Hu Lu Wa vs. Stone Golem [Continued]

Choji spun like a massive ball, charging straight at Gan Jui like an unstoppable tank ready to take on an army.

Gan Jui slapped both hands onto the ground, causing a thick slab of rock to erupt upward and block in front of him.
"Rumble!"
But the moment Choji's Human Bullet Tank hit, the stone slab exploded into rubble. Yet Choji kept right on rolling without losing momentum.
"Haa! Stop right there!"
Roaring fiercely, Gan Jui threw another punch, his exposed skin looking like hardened stone.
His fist smashed into Choji's Human Bullet Tank, and his body was instantly sent flying by the force of the collision. He crashed heavily onto the ground while Choji only wobbled off course slightly before stopping nearby.
"That was one hell of a punch," Gan Jui said, getting up from the ground with an expression of astonishment. He had used Earth Release: Hardening Technique on himself, yet still couldn't completely block Choji's attack. Without that hardening technique, he might've been seriously hurt.
"Just stopping my Human Bullet Tank with your bare hands—you're pretty impressive too!"
Choji returned his body to normal size and grinned. He knew exactly how powerful the Human Bullet Tank was, and for Gan Jui to actually stop it with his hands meant this guy's strength definitely surpassed that of a regular genin.
"Let's keep going!"
Gan Jui shook his slightly sore arm and charged forward bare-handed to fight Choji, who also decided not to use Expansion Jutsu and fought back with just his fists.
"I don't really feel any sense of competition here at all!" Ino frowned with frustration. "If I had to describe this, it feels more like a controlled sparring session rather than a serious battle. They haven't even used any tactics or given their maximum effort yet!"
"That's just how Choji is. What can you do about it?" Sakura shrugged. "He generally doesn't like violent fights. He won't seriously hurt anyone unless you push him to his limit."
"There's something I've always wondered though!" Hinata suddenly asked curiously. "Why did you make Choji wear that gourd on his head?"
"Because of Choji's special abilities! Growing bigger or smaller, superhuman strength, and an indestructible body—doesn't that sound just like those cartoon heroes, the Seven Brothers?" Sakura explained, holding up one finger at a time to show Hinata and the others the reason.
"???" Everyone looked completely confused, with no idea who or what the Seven Brothers were.
While Sakura happily continued explaining the story of the Seven Brothers to a group that didn't understand, the fight between Choji and Gan Jui below was getting intense.
Gan Jui was extremely proficient in Earth Release: Hardening Technique, giving him incredibly high defense. Choji's punches and kicks barely caused him any damage. Plus, Choji himself had the special ability of an indestructible body—Gan Jui's punches against him barely felt like anything at all.
Neither of them used other techniques, purely relying on Taijutsu to attack each other. This style of direct, close-range combat made everyone in the spectator stands feel excited, although many wanted to comment that neither fighter could actually inflict significant damage on the other.
"Boom!"
Both fighters landed punches on each other's faces simultaneously. The tremendous force sent both of them stumbling backward several steps.
"Heh, that sure felt great!" Gan Jui's eyes seemed to sparkle with excitement. This style of trading punches and kicks was exactly what he loved most.
