"A Valmyrin?" Aurelia repeated slowly, her brows drawing together as she searched her memory. "They are among the great houses in Virelia, are they not? The same house your mother mentioned recently… the one she said had begun showing signs of defiance toward the crown?"
Levina nodded without hesitation.
"Yes, that is correct," she said. "The House of Valmyrin is not just any noble family. They are powerful, deeply rooted in the kingdom's history, and—more importantly—dangerously proud. When they feel slighted, they do not simply accept it quietly. They respond… and not always in ways that are easy to contain."
