They eventually reached a massive courtyard at the center of the manor, roofless and exposed to the growing tempest. But unlike the rest of the estate, this place seemed strangely untouched.
The stone beneath their feet was clean, no weeds grew between the cracks, and no debris covered the ground.
Aurelia stopped, surprised at what age was seeing. "Why is this place different from the rest of the manor?"
Seraphielle walked toward the center. "Because this is where the Godricks performed their final ritual. Despite it being centuries since that time, this place still humms with a powerful energy. I guess perhaps it is because the witch that performed the final ritual for them, was indeed a powerful one."
Aurelia's eyes moved across the courtyard. "And using that powerful energy that surrounds this place, now you're going to perform yours as well."
