i will still upload a chap this week. i just wanted to say something.
This is a rant from me on why I hate SS, or how I grew to dislike it. At first, it was like fresh air among many webnovel slops, which are filled with harem or porn, but after some time, it got dull. i know many people like SS, and I am not hating on them, but as I began writing my ff i began to notice how much of a slop it is or has become. I am writing this so that anyone who wants to continue reading this or the other ff can be prepared.
Using my dao of comprehension i would say "copper among dirt is more valuable than gold among jade", like it's good, but a top web novel, nah.
I am writing this so people can explain to me if I missed something. I want people to correct me, not tell me what u think.
Reasons:
1. World Building: I know SS is known for its world-building. But nothing is ever clear. We are introduced to new places/locations, but never really clear. Especially the waking world. I know it's not its main focus.
2. Side characters: I think characters here really lack depth or are built for only one purpose, and then they become irrelevant or useless.
3. Romance: SS was introduced/tagged as a romance web novel, which it is, but in my opinion, the romance between the two MCs gives me CUCK energy, and it really put me off.
4. Web novel and G3: I know the reason why the novel became an info dump is because of the contract, but G3 was the one who suggested the 2 chapters per day( so I have heard)
5. Fights: It was good, but now it's filled with treacherous this, treacherous that.
6. Sunny: I used to like sunny, but in real life, it's the type of people I hate. Think, would you really like someone who hates you because you are better than they are, or because your circumstances are better?
Jealousy is fine its human nature, but if someone hates you because your chances of survival are better, I think most people would not like a guy like that.
7. Nephis: I know she never socialised as a child, but she is a grown ass woman now with zero to no character development, and she is clearly not autistic, but doesn't want to develop.
I was also a really quiet kid as a child and picked on because of my shyness and poor football skills. I wanted friends and socialized so I worked hard, and now I am really comfortable among random people. And because of my father's job, we had to move quite a lot, so I never developed bonds or friends. I was 14 when I think I made real friends.
And he always blames others
What can u expect:
1. Romance (u guys will really like this one)
2. Character's personality developed in another way.
3. Detailed world-building, both the waking and dream world
