Kairo Retsu yanked on the Silkbind thread like pulling reins, acting as the Chaotic Gore Magala's battlefield guide: "I'll find a way! A way for you to coexist with nature!"
"If the ways of Hunters fail—then I'll look for miracles! Seek out magic! There must be a way to restore balance to the natural world!"
"Because you possess reason—because you also wish to live alongside this world!"
"Then let the Sapphire Star of the heavens light our path forward!"
The Chaotic Gore Magala roared as it leapt skyward, the gusts from its wings churning the miasma...
From the cloak-like membranes of its wings, the Frenzy Virus condensed into black crystals, transformed into pitch-dark mist, and was fanned toward the Shagaru Magala.
At that moment, Kairo Retsu raised his left arm and fired a blazing Flame Bomb from a launcher, igniting the spreading mist and triggering a massive explosion in front of the Shagaru Magala.
The Elder Dragon folded its wingclaws inward, shielding its body from the blast with its massive wings—but during that fleeting moment of obscured vision, a presence locked onto it.
A girl's chant rang out from the sky.
The Shagaru Magala realized that the small being who had stood toe-to-toe with it earlier was now directly above.
It didn't immediately unfurl its wings. Instead, it continued gathering Frenzy Virus between them.
At the moment it opened its wings, it would unleash that virus in a colossal explosion, annihilating anything that dared draw near.
As the approaching sound grew ever closer, the Shagaru Magala suddenly spread its wings—and from its body, the concentrated Frenzy Virus burst forth, engulfing its surroundings. Waves of purple-black energy radiated outward, compressing the air in its wake.
A boundless, omnidirectional strike—designed to obliterate any entity within range.
But within that blast, two distinct points remained—resisting the impact through another force.
"Holopsicon…"
Two voices—one mechanical and calm, the other filled with blazing fury—called out from above and below the Shagaru Magala.
Overhead, Altair had her hand clamped on Hibiki Tachibana's shoulder. With her other hand, she drew her saber, pointing it at the oncoming impact. Using acceptance as her foundation, she broke through the blast at a single point, creating an attack path for Hibiki.
"Piercing Breakthrough!"
Hibiki summoned every skill she had learned over her battles, pushing her willpower to the limit. Even her Symphogear's Final Song ascended to a new peak.
"ORAAA—!!!"
With a burst from the propulsion units on her back, her battle spirit surged. She rocketed downward, hammering toward the Shagaru Magala.
Simultaneously, Sirius mirrored Altair's technique from below, neutralizing the Elder Dragon's defense from the opposite side.
The Chaotic Gore Magala howled, tearing through the Frenzy mist, charging forward in a berserk fury.
Due to its large frame, many of its scales were torn open as it forced its way through. Purple-black blood erupted from its wounds, only to be vaporized by the turbulent aura around it.
Attacked from above and below simultaneously, the Shagaru Magala was visibly caught off guard. In the end, it braced itself—taking Hibiki's punch head-on, and turning to meet the Chaotic Gore Magala's desperate charge.
Hibiki's fist crashed into the Elder Dragon's scales, shattering layers of its sorrow-imbued armor. But the Shagaru Magala, enduring the pain, extended its wingclaws and clashed directly with those of the Chaotic Gore Magala.
At that moment, it recognized the power within the latter's right wingclaw—a power akin to its own. That was what made the threat far greater than Hibiki's punch.
Faced with such a threat, the Shagaru Magala could no longer hold back. It would unleash everything.
Kairo Retsu was the first to detect the change in the Shagaru Magala's eyes.
Ever since encountering Memeiko (Nergigante), Kairo had realized that Elder Dragons possessed combat intellect no less than that of Hunters. They could think, and plan.
Because of that—his expression changed, and without hesitation, he yanked the Silkbind threads, commanding the Chaotic Gore Magala's wingclaws to snatch up Hibiki and Altair and fly at full speed away from the Shagaru Magala.
With a furious roar, the Elder Dragon's wings unfurled in full.
Those golden wings now shimmered faintly with white, like a monarch's regal mantle.
Atop its head, the crown-shaped horns began to blaze with pure Elder Dragon energy. Crystalline Frenzy began to spread across its body.
That white-gold body—godlike in its brilliance—was now tinged with luminous blue, a divine cloak draping the sovereign of ascension.
The Frenzy Crystals and the Shagaru Magala's twin horns fused, forming an opulent crown of purple and white.
"Hunter! What are you doing!!!!"
Altair, not yet grasping the gravity of the transformation, shouted at Kairo Retsu in anger: "What are you doing?! It's going to attack Setsuna!"
"I know!!!" Kairo Retsu roared back. "The situation just got way worse! We alone can't handle this anymore!"
"Now's the time—to call everyone to give it their all!!!"

The Frenzy Crystals clustered across the Shagaru Magala's form, a sign of power too immense to contain.
In this state of wrath, the Shagaru Magala's strength surpassed its natural limits.
And this form… Kairo Retsu had only ever witnessed once before, at the Frontier.
"Son of a—! So that's why this thing's so damn strong!!!"
"Goddamn it! The Frontier's really fallen this time!"
