The moment Hinata stepped onto the stage, several members of the Hyuga clan's branch family in the front row of the audience unfurled a massive banner.

Then, from beneath the banner, a small, adorable girl popped up, holding a loudspeaker and shouting with all her might toward the arena.

In the duel ring, Hinata's cheeks turned bright red.
She raised her hand and frantically gestured for them to stop.
"M-Min—No shouting, please! T-This is an official match—!"
But compared to the thunderous roar of tens of thousands of cheering spectators, her soft voice didn't stand a chance. Helplessly, she turned toward her father, Hyuga Hiashi.
Hiashi merely spread his hands in surrender, nodding at Hanabi standing proudly on her seat. It was clearly her idea, and he had absolutely nothing to do with it.
Up in the VIP viewing box, Tsunade pointed to the poor, awkward figure of Hozuki Suigetsu standing alone on the battlefield, her sides shaking with laughter.
"Ahaha! Hikaru, look at that kid! Look at his face!!"
"He looks like someone just pulled him out of bed and told him he was gonna die, ahahahaha!!"
Uchiha Hikaru followed her gaze. Suigetsu was standing there like a statue—hands over his ears, mouth hanging open, eyes glazed over.
In that moment, only three thoughts ran through his head:
Who am I? Where am I? What the hell am I doing here?
Isn't this supposed to be a Chunin Exam match? Why does that girl have so many fans? And I'm standing here like a complete loser…
I don't wanna fight anymore… my body's vibrating from the noise alone…
Even the usually composed announcer had to step in. Hayate raised the mic and cleared his throat loudly:
"Ahem! That's enough now. Let's start the match!"
The crowd finally calmed down.
Hinata and Suigetsu stepped forward, formed the seal of confrontation, and bowed. The match officially began!
Hinata raised her right hand, exposing a small seal on her wrist. Her left index finger and thumb joined together in a practiced motion as she chanted:
"Shadow Chaser Bow: Release!"
"Byakugan—activated!"
With a flash of chakra, a large bow formed in her left hand—silver-white, laced with elegant patterns and etchings of a blue phoenix curling around the grip. It gleamed under the sunlight.
Suigetsu's mood soured even further.
Wait a minute. Isn't the Hyuga clan known for Gentle Fist? Since when do they use bows? The hell is this supposed to be? Can that thing even kill people?!
Meanwhile, the other four Kage watching from their booth were equally baffled.
Onoki: Byakugan with a bow? Why not just use Gentle Fist? What's next, a sword? A bazooka?
Raikage A: That's absurd. Such powerful dynamic vision wasted on long-range combat. What kind of training are they doing over there?
Rasa: Aba… Aba… Konoha's thighs sure are getting thicker and more huggable these days...

Uchiha Hikaru looked down at the arena, arms folded. While the firearms Neji had developed were an exciting breakthrough, mass production was far off given the current industrial limitations of the shinobi world.
But bows and arrows? That could work right now.
If archery could fill the role of long-range weapons, Orochimaru could shift his research to artillery and siege tactics instead. Firearms could come later—after chakra-powered industries advanced further.
In the ring, Hinata carefully drew the bowstring. Chakra gathered rapidly, condensing into an arrow so thin it was nearly invisible. It shimmered with sharp, concentrated energy.
Hikaru understood instantly—this was an extension of the Hyuga's unique chakra control. Just like her Sixty-Four Palms defense technique, but reimagined—an arrow formed from tightly controlled chakra threads, thin and precise enough to penetrate anything in its path.
The moment she drew the string fully, Suigetsu flinched.
Dangerous.
That bow was dangerous.
Without hesitation, he threw up his hands in a mock gun shape and began zigzagging rapidly.
"Water Style: Water Gun Technique—Dual Cannons!"
Droplets shot from his fingertips like rapid-fire bullets, peppering the air toward Hinata.
Her expression shifted in a heartbeat—from bashful to deadly.
She let loose the first shot.
"Hyuga Style: Rapid Volley!"
Blue streaks of light flashed as arrow after arrow burst from the bow. Each one was impossibly thin and fast, piercing straight through the center of the water bullets. One after another, the watery projectiles collapsed into harmless puddles before reaching her.
Hikaru nodded to himself.
"She's using Hyuga-style chakra arrows to disrupt the chakra flow inside Suigetsu's water bullets—collapsing their form. Once the chakra is destroyed, they revert to ordinary water."
Tsunade, though unable to perceive the micro-chakra arrows with her own eyes, instantly picked up on the principle from Hikaru's explanation.
"This level of chakra control…"
"That's exactly what medical ninjutsu requires!"
Hikaru blinked, then smiled.
Tsunade had a point.
Imagine a Hyuga who could attack from range with bow chakra, defend up close with Gentle Fist, and heal themselves and teammates on the fly using precise chakra control—while having Byakugan's superior perception and detection.
That's not just well-rounded.
That's broken.
"What kind of cheat-code ninja is that?"
Without thinking, he pulled Tsunade into his arms and kissed her twice—hard.
"I love you to death!"
Tsunade's face turned red. She smacked his shoulder with mock annoyance but was clearly pleased.
"Hmph! Since you're so forward... maybe that's not impossible~"
Up in the Kage box, Mei Terumi narrowed her eyes, smirking like a clairvoyant.
"I knew it. They're doing it."
