Chapter-63: marketing tricks by Wendy Lark

The Third Young Master of the Foster Family had never done such hard work before. He was exhausted after a while and felt unhappy. "Father, why is Third Miss Wendy Lark like this? It's her business to please the officials, but she made us run around in circles..."

"Shut up." Head of the Foster family gently scolded, "Miss Wendy Lark is extremely intelligent and has a very broad vision. How can a fool like you understand?" The third young master of the Foster family was scolded to the point of becoming autistic.

Dad, who is your biological child? Head of the Foster family saw his son's foolish look, and thought of Wendy Lark's wise and masterful planning, and couldn't help but sigh. There is a huge difference between people.

Time passed quickly. After being busy for half a day, everyone finally had the steaming bone soup and meat buns. They felt very happy and satisfied. "Is this the meal cooked by a village woman? It tastes pretty good."

"I heard that Miss Wendy Lark's cooking is really delicious. I hope I can eat a meal cooked by her someday." It's not possible today. Wendy Lark is the busiest person in the whole place. She will go wherever she is needed.

The officials' eyes sparkled as they looked at the soap blocks being formed. "How do we sell it?" the escort guards asked.

"We will sell them in the nearest town?" Wendy Lark was confident and continued. "I have already asked the village chief. Tomorrow is the big market that takes place every ten days. Villagers from all over the area will come to the market at Shell town. We will sell them then."

The officer was stunned. "Sell it to the villagers? They don't have money, right?" Wendy Lark smiled slightly, confident and flamboyant, "I will personally show you what a marketing genius is tomorrow."

Officer: ...Speechless…. (I am speechless about how many times I am writing speechless)

After a busy day, Wendy Lark went to bed early. However, the officials couldn't sleep yet, feeling half happy and half worried, both looking forward to and apprehensive about tomorrow.

Deputy Captain Luke turned over in bed, "Brother Jeff, do you believe her?"

"What else can we do except believe her?" Lord Jeff thought of the mountains of soap and couldn't help but wonder why he got so excited that he got tricked into joining this pirate ship? I made so much at once and spent so much money.

If I can't sell them, it will all be a waste of my money. When he thought of this, he had a splitting headache. Was he too stupid? Or was Miss Lark too good at deceiving people?

"We can't just throw away all the goods." Deputy Captain Luke could hear the trepidation in his voice, "Then I'll go with her tomorrow to take a look."

"No, you stay and watch. I'll go over." How could Lord Jeff feel at ease if he didn't see it with his own eyes? The next day, Wendy Lark got up early, ate something quick and set off.

Lord Jeff and his five men brought several carriages of goods and arrived at shell town under the guidance of a villager. Although it was still early, there were already many stalls set up.

There are vendors selling home-grown fruits and vegetables, chickens, ducks, fish and meat, as well as food, cloth, ceramic cookware, shoes, etc. There is everything you can think of and it is very lively.

Not only did villagers from nearby come to set up stalls, but also peddlers walking the streets, and shops from various towns all went to the countryside to hold market. No one wanted to miss such a good opportunity to make money.

So there are all kinds of things for sale, forming a huge market. They arrived early and there was a lot of open space. Wendy Lark directed everyone to arrange the goods into a neat hill, which looked very impressive.

She took out two signs, one of which says, "Selling at a loss, soap, original price, one hundred bronze coins, and current price fifty bronze coins." The other one says "Soap, original price 200 Bronze coins, current price 100 bronze coins.

Once the two signs were hung up and a soap mountain was erected, many people came over and pointed at it curiously. Not only that, she also set up a table in front of the stall with samples lined up.

The soaps were so beautiful and exquisite in shape that many women couldn't take their eyes off them. As time went by, more and more people flocked to the market, and it was bustling with people, with the sounds of hawking and noise never ending.

"Miss Wendy Lark, what should we do now?" Lord Jeff had no experience in business and felt a little uneasy. Wendy Lark wore light men's clothing and tied her hair into a ponytail, looking like an energetic young man.

She jumped onto the table lightly, picked up the gongs and drums and started beating them, immediately attracting countless eyes.

"Hello, fellow villagers. We are big merchants who travel far and wide. This time we specially bought a batch of rare goods in the capital and planned to take them to the north to sell. Unfortunately, several of our companions fell ill on the way and urgently needed to exchange some money for medical treatment, so we had to sell at a loss."

"It's cheap, only for one day, until they're sold out, first come first served." Who doesn't like to take advantage of small things? As soon as everyone heard this, they immediately came over.

Wendy Lark was not at all stage shy and she confidently took the samples and introduced them. "This soap is used to wash clothes and hands. It is clean after one use. Anyone who uses it will know it."
