[Bhagya's Thoughts]
It's Dark....It's Suffocating....Can't Breath....It's Cold...
[Eyes Opened]
An Unknown Horizon is unveiled...everywhere is snow....
For a few moments, Bhagya remained silent. Instead of panicking, he carefully observed his surroundings. The cold felt real. The wind felt real. Everything felt too real to be a dream.
Bhagya sighs,"It's...It's peaceful. The Place..is so white....reminds me of Canvas."
The place was very calm, yet very cold, Bhagya will not be expecting what new guests or rather beings he will be expecting.
As Bhagya was moving in the snow, He noticed a figure standing in the distance. A skinny man with long tangled hair and a thick beard. Even from afar, Bhagya could see a large scar crossing the man's abdomen.
The stranger stood motionless, staring directly at him.
Something about that figure felt wrong.
[Arvin's POV]
2 months later...
Arvin sat in another interrogation room.
"I already told you," he said weakly. "It wasn't me."
The police officer slammed his hand on the table.
"Then who was it?"
"Bhagya!"
The room fell silent.
The officers exchanged looks before one of them laughed.
"There is no evidence of that."
Arvin clenched his fists. Witnesses pointed towards him. The forensic reports pointed towards him. Every piece of evidence pointed towards him.
Only his memories said otherwise.
The trial ended exactly two months after his arrest.
The court found Arvin guilty of attempted murder causing severe injury, criminal intimidation, and violent assault.
As the judgment was read, his parents broke down in tears.
Arvin simply stared ahead.
Nobody believed him.
Soon later,Arvin was thrown into prison.
Nowhere to go,only a place between criminals, loneliness and REGRET.
Meanwhile, the world was changing.People across the globe reported seeing a second moon in the sky.
Some claimed it was brighter than the original moon,Others described it differently,Scientists searched for explanations;Governments launched investigations;Religious groups called it a Divine Signs.
Social media exploded with theories.
The strangest discovery came weeks later.
Most people capable of seeing the second moon shared one thing in common.
They possessed powerful desires.
Ambition.
Obsession.
Greed.
Determination.
A dream they were unwilling to abandon.
Nobody understood why.
Yet the pattern continued to appear.
The second moon remained silent while humanity searched desperately for answers.
[Blackout]
Back in the snowfield, Bhagya noticed the scarred man was closer.
Much closer.
He frowned.
He hadn't seen him move.
The stranger stopped a few meters away and studied him.
Then he smiled.
It wasn't a friendly smile.
It was the smile of someone who had found something valuable.
"Fresh."
Bhagya felt a chill run down his spine.
"What?"
The stranger ignored the question and looked past him.
Bhagya turned around.
His heart nearly stopped.
Thousands of people stood across the endless snowfield.
Men,Women,Children,Old people.
All silent;All staring at him.
The scarred man's smile widened.
Then the crowd began walking.
Slowly.
Calmly.
Toward Bhagya.
Fear finally appeared on his face, Without thinking, he turned and ran.
Snow flew beneath his feet as he sprinted across the frozen landscape. Behind him came footsteps.
Hundreds.
Then thousands.
The sound grew louder every second.
Bhagya didn't dare look back.
His lungs burned.
His legs ached.
But the footsteps kept getting closer.
Closer.
Closer.
Then something grabbed his arm.
Bhagya stumbled.
Another hand grabbed him.
Then another.
Then dozens.
The crowd swallowed him whole.
Then a sound came across Bhagya's ear it was a sound of someone crunching, feasting on flesh and with that he felt pain across his arm he cried in agony,"Arghhh!!!!.....!!!"; one person has taken a bite of Bhagya's hand and his eyes were like he is enjoying a feast.
Bhagya was taken aback and filled with fear of death.
The time Bhagya realized that all the people their...no..not people....all were the beast and cannibals.
They feasted upon Bhagya, who was experiencing his worst....death and.....also thought it should be a nightmare.
"The White Canvas was painted red"
