Emotions clouds the judgement and giving into desires is the moment a Man falls to his demise. Danzo, even after having Shisui's Mangekyu has not manipulated Hiruzen. (It was not show why in the anime, so my thinking stems from Comradory and Friendship. Once he tried assassination to test Hokage's capability)
Back to the protagonist, Naruto knew how his fate will unravels but fate is ever changing. Now, being who he was, an otherworldly demon, he know every breathe he takes disrupts the delicate balance of the narutoverse. Our MC, was avid lover of novels and fanfictions. After pondering everything, he still believes the best form of protection he could get from is the Hokage. Atleast he could stay alive and free within constraints until that snake bastard launches an attack and makes Hiruzen commit suicide. Than that unreliable pervert could be used for shade for a while.

I need Food and Groceries but i can't aquire freash produce. Next to my home, down to the streets that shopkeeper sells overdue instant Noodles for twice the price! "

He really doesn't need test but it is fine to.

'I had to restraint myself from grabing his cheeks' Even though I was, specifically naruto was also but less comparable to in terms of looks, everyone kicks the fallen man. Kids will not associate themself with someone despised, no matter how looked. 'Seriously, Those psychos do have top-tier looks. Even after 6 years in the academy, no one became my friend. Choji and shikimaru remained oblivious, they are more like acquittance but majority of my time i skipped classes as i learned everything clone jutsu. Most likely because of
My unstable chakra. You may ask why haven't i started Tree walking? Well, if i try thing that are not taught in the academy than the hiher-up would definitely get suspicious. I every other subject i passed with flying colors. I fought kids, what can you expect. Also the kids were not kind to me. Because i was superior than them, they hated me more, calling me names. Many times i could not contain my rage and unleased fury upon them and had to take a visit to the hokage office. Sometimes i stay in the bathroom for a long while. Coping was tough but i am tougher. I was different from Naruto so Iruka Umino and I never got together which confirmed one of my conjecture which i really did not want to happen.
Sasuke's Clan was wiped out and i was scared witless A 13 years old boy went on a killing spree and so many elites of uchiha couldn't do shit. Just an element of surprise wont be enough to kill so many people. No matter what, Hiruzen is truly luckey, probably the luckiest Hokage ever.

As time passes, Ninja academy came to a stop and tomorrow would be the final test. I was still shit at clone jutsu. Somehow i became like a Tiger, a solitary animal and a professional Actor. Majority of my time passes in the death forrest training, hunting, cuddling with the dogs that i raised. My only Companions in my desperate time. No wonder Dogs are called a man best friend.i have many hobbies but thats for a later time.
