Roman spoke calmly but firmly.
"We must finish this mission as soon as possible. The dungeon breakout is approaching, and we need to be ready at any time."
Magic Tower Master Velkan nodded.
"Young master, the barrier you requested has been completed. The elders have successfully activated it. The defense mechanisms are fully operational according to the draft."
"Good," Roman said.
He turned to Jacob. "Father, how are the evacuation plans progressing?"
Selena answered instead. "As instructed, we hired workers to construct underground bunkers reinforced with magical barriers. Construction is about sixty percent complete. The palace safe zones are also being prepared."
She continued, "We also received a letter from the royal palace. Healers will be stationed in every dukedom and county. Their numbers are increasing significantly."
"Good," Roman replied. "The Holy Empire of Arcania will also dispatch their warriors and priests once the dungeon breakout begins."
He paused briefly.
"Now to the main point."
"We already secured enough evidence against Noah Rockson during the first phase of Operation Specter through Merchant Arshan. Paladin Ezra also possesses solid proof."
"Our next targets are Rudolf Steiner, chief executive of the royal judges' panel, and Andreas Crew, head of the Merchant Alliance."
"These two are the primary targets of Phase Two."
Roman looked at Josey and Allen.
"Rudolf Steiner is your target."
Both nodded.
He then turned to Zion.
"Andreas Crew will be handled by you."
"Understood," Zion replied.
"Kill them silently. Collect all evidence and send it directly to my father's office using Jeremiah's spatial magic."
"Yes," they replied in unison.
"Be careful," Roman added. "I don't want any of my men injured or killed."
"As soon as both targets are eliminated," Roman continued, "Jeremiah, burn their houses silently using magic. No civilians are to be harmed."
"Understood," Jeremiah said.
"Contact the resistance leaders planning to overthrow Noah Rockson. Use their support to create controlled unrest—something that looks like a riot."
Roman then addressed Josey and Allen again.
"After eliminating your targets, disguise yourselves as Ephor knights. Blend in and kill as many knights as possible, prioritizing higher authorities."
"Yes, young master," they replied.
Finally, Roman turned to Jacob.
"Father, prepare a formal letter to the king. Brief him on Ephor's situation, submit the evidence, and request royal intervention. State clearly that Noah Rockson is unfit to remain duke."
Jacob frowned. "He will deny it. He'll say the proof is fabricated."
"I know," Roman said calmly. "Paladin Ezra will submit her proof as well. We will also distribute evidence to the people of Ephor and the capital."
"And the Holy Empire will pressure King Augustus Nova to act," Roman concluded. "His puppets will already be eliminated."
The room fell silent.
Phase Two was set in motion.
