A sudden flash blinds him for a second. When he opens his eyes, he finds himself standing in a strange realm three colors swirling around him in endless motion.
One side pure darkness, so deep it seems to eat light itself.
The second a soft mix of light blue and cherry red, glowing faintly.
Mike's face twists in confusion.
Mike (in mind): Where... the hell is this?
Suddenly, a floating white sword appears before him, humming with energy.
Sword: Yo. You're Mike, right?
Mike (shocked): W-WHAT!? A floating TALKING sword!? WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?
Sword (calmly): Chill, kid. I'll explain. But first are you Mike?
Mike (hesitating): Y-yeah, I'm Mike... so what?
Sword: Good. If I tried explaining everything, your mind would explode. Literally. The truth here... kills the unworthy.
Mike: Huh? So basically, you're not telling me anything?

Hikari: Alright, then... let's end this.
Hikari creates a small glowing candy-like orb. With a flick_ he throws it toward the road.

The explosion tears the earth apart like a nuke. Nothing remains. Hikari vanishes leaving no trace.
Mike's face freezes. His breathing trembles. He almost screams but somehow forces the tears back.
Mike (mind): ...I'll get revenge. No matter what it takes.
His rage radiates like a wild beast.

Far away the Sword and Flux's Crystal watch the event.
Sword: So... what do you think, Crystal? The kid's brave, huh?
Crystal: Yeah... I think Flux would cry if he saw something like this.
Sword: Nah. Flux wouldn't cry no matter what you show him.
Crystal: Why not?
