Max placed his palm on David's shoulder, calming him down. David immediately snapped back to reality and looked at his younger brother.
Max: Well....look on the bright side....I'm here now..
David smiled. He finally found him.
Max; But I did miss you wedding, it's so sad. Dammit!!
David laughed at his brother seemingly angry.
David: Well we decided it at the heat of the moment. It was after we were unfrozen that we decided to marry each other, since we had no one else.
Max nodded understanding their situation.
Lin: You guys were also frozen like him, right? When did you guys come out?
David was finally happy that his companions were talking directly to him. So, David finally answered.
David: Well....I'd say about two years ago. Sachika was the first one out. Three months after that I was unfrozen. After we got married, Higurashi-San also was unfrozen.
Max nodded.
Melissa: I see....the previous world is such a mystery...
David: I'd say so too...
Chuck: So...how were you unfrozen..?
Chuck asked one of the important questions, that even Max had. Max was expecting a complex logic, but Sachika said something completely different.
Sachika: It just sorta happened..
Max: What..?
Sachika: Yes...you heard me right...We were all frozen and when I came out I had no one beside me. I took care of David and my grandfather's pod, but they suddenly one day melted and popped out.
David: Yeah...we never found out why it hapoened...
Max was unaware about everything after his coma. He had a kit of questions to ask. But this time it was his brother's party to do the interrogating.
Higurashi: Well....where did you guys get unfrozen..?
Everyone else were confused, realizing that Higurashi thought all of them were old worlders for some reason. But Max clarified.
Max: No, No...all four of them are from this era. Only I woke up recently a few days ago in my Dome, and I was flying in..
David: The Dome can fly? Like actually fly??
Max: Speaking of which....where is the Dome, you guys woke up in..?
David and Sachika looked at each other and had an empathetic look in their eyes.
David: Well...about that...
Max blinked twice, rather confused, just like everybody else.
Sachika: I guess it's better if we show you...

Max: What the HELL??
Sachika and her husband walked towards the forest, leading the gang somewhere. Everyone in Max's Paradox Troupe followed them, and only the old man Higurashi stayed behind. He was old to move around a lot, and Pinky gave him the required company.
Meanwhile the married couple led them deep into the forest and after twenty minutes of walking, they reached a large open area. On their left, down the huge plateau, was a beach and the ocean. Oh the right, were several other trees and a forest landscape. And smacked in between it was a Dome, unearthed, and half of it was missing, broken into wires and metal. The only half of the Dome that survived was diagonal in shape, tilting downward, and many structures hung to the wires, desperately clinging on to it.
Melissa: Oh my God....so is that..
Chuck: That looks nothing like the Dome we travel in..
David: Again...you guys travel in it?? It can fly..??
Max: Pretty much yeah..
David was surprised, while Max stood there open mouthed, staring at the wreckage of a place. He genuinely could not believe this was similar to the one who slept in yesterday.
Sachika: And that's where I woke up. In the remaining half. Not a lot of pods there...the rest is underwater. I don't think a lot of them survived.
David: They've been under the ocean for almost two thousand years...I even tried diving, and yet couldn't find a single pod...and eventually I gave up.
Max just stood there....looking at everything, in an abysmal state of horror.
